Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Cloudy...
Look i probably shouldn't say and I'm sure they wouldn't want a flood of people saying "Oh but you did it for this guy!"
but they did chuck in a free medium sized CVault which i had actually been wanting to get for a while.
It was pretty nice of them considering the pre-order discounts weren't their issue at all.
Also combined with the express shipping i felt like it was a pretty good deal.
Also regardless of who you are if you purchase from them they have a point system.
So with my purchase i got 1.4k points and each lot of 100 points = $1AUD you can spend on their site.
So that's kinda cool too!

Yep, I think they are giving you a nice deal, congrats! Let us see your videos when you have it this week ;)

I liked my Swiss Mini a lot with my EQV, but I find that the draw is very restrictive with my Cloud. :2c: (You wouldn't think so but alas...)
Often return to favorite destinations. Dizzle Swiss is like a vacation in Seattle. Hear you about the restrictiveness but like the rad chug.

Out of interest is there anywhere that underlines the actual differences between the cloud plus and the cloud original. Have the staff at Vapexhale officially commented on this somewhere?
Is it true that it the vapexhale cloud plus makes less dense vapor?
Thanks.

I don't believe there are exact differences mentioned between the two units, like different software versions, or what not. It has a faster heat up time, and a modular design so VapeXhale can replace a broken bamboo. Other people have noted the cord is shorter. Other than that, there are no visible differences between the Cloud+ and the Cloud. They VXL staff have commented on the Cloud+ a bunch, but not mentioning the internal differences.

No, the Cloud+ creates just as dense vapor as the original Cloud. Mine works wonderfully.

Ah that's great to know, thanks for the re-assurance.
My cloud arrives in australia within 24 hours.
I think i'm going to be one of the first people down under to own one of these!

Finally i may be putting up the old Volcano Classic on my shelf.
I can't believe after waiting for so long it'll finally be here. Hopefully
it lives up to it's ridiculous hype.

I have concerns about the vapexhale cloud plus being faulty because i think it was stonemonkey
who said they were having issue with their manufacturer but i know for a fact he said this after the clouds were being shipped to australian vendors. Does that mean international vendors may of potentially inherited a bunch of faulty stock?

Cloudy...
A little question for Swagger HydraCirc owners: I always wanted that HT, love that it has so many slit, must have an awesome diffusion. But watching the pics today I noticed that the perc inside the circ is a little bit short. Anyone had any problem with water going inside the perc in normal use?

The cloud plus is being hand made. They dont get hot anymore. They should call it the cloud two because it really is much better. The cloud plus basically takes the only better feature of the e-nano, the short startup, and match it and also performs without getting hot. You do not need the rubber cover they include because it does not become hot enough to feel pain on your hand.

I recommend not putting the rubber cover on the cloud plus because it insulates heat which I believe can be a factor in a cloud having an early demise.

The cloud plus has a replaceable bamboo, a shorter cord, a quicker heat up time, and doesn't heat the shield up as much. I wouldn't say NOT to put the acrylic shield on because it could create a heat issue, I really don't think they would include something with a device that could potentially cause a failure. Most people aren't using it because once its on its a bitch to get off should you change your mind. The cloud plus also comes with the 2 year warranty out of the gate as opposed to us cloud minus users who simply pay the upgrade fee PRIOR to the end of their original warranty resulting in the newer features being installed as well as the extension on your original warranty.

BTW - currently ALL clouds are hand made, SM told us that they had an issue with their manufacturer thus putting them in a position that forced a handmade production issue - this won't last long.

+1 to the heater malfunction group :( seems like the +150 is worth it to upgrade and extend warranty orshould I just stick to the OG version? Pretty sweet the returns address is only 30 min away...we'll maybe it will be sweet...

Wow - can you hand deliver it? Shit, I would have popped a tent out in their parking lot last night. :brow:

As I continue extensive testing : ) The differences in performance between the two are negligible :) I prefer the original still, though.

However, ignore the green light and wait 10 - 15 minutes for either unit to heat up. They both just hit better after warming up past the green light turning on. My Cloud Plus will not produce vapor, or at least it only produces negligible amounts of visible vapor when the green light first turns on. This is an important tip when introducing someone to the unit--so that they get a great first impression!

As I have mentioned, my unit doesn't operate that way. Works great as soon as the light turns on in 3/4 minutes. No need to wait. So, YMMV.

Out-of-the-box review, while my new Cloud+ is heating up.

My original Cloud broke, so after sending the unit into VXL I finally received my new Cloud+. Here are some things I notice immediately.

1. Smaller sized unit than my previous Cloud. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it just seems a little smaller. My other Cloud seemed to be a little bigger and taller, which I didn't like sitting on my fragile glass. This new Cloud seems very light.
2. Better build, more solid glass bamboo. The overall build of this Cloud seems very sturdy and there are no cosmetic flaws from what I can tell. "HOT" warning still seems to be misshapen, oh well.
3. Faster heat up time. From first turning on my Cloud right out of the box, it turned Green at 12 o'clock in about one minute and forty seconds. This is nuts for the Cloud, and I am letting it run a little longer while my glass cleans before first use.
4. Four ELBs in the package instead of two. The dimensions seem to be a little bigger than before.

I really think I'm going to like this Cloud. Off to use it, but I'm sure it's going to produce thick vapor.
-LR

Edit: 30 minutes later I found myself spacing out looking at my computer monitor. Yeah, this thing works.

Ordered my Cloud on March 28 and received it today (April 8).
Used the VXLOVESFC code and received 10 total ELBS.
Set it to just before 12 on the Cloud + and filled the ELB a little less than half of the way.
Flicked the ELB a few times with my finger between the 1st and 2nd rip.
Tasty and I couldn't detect any funky/weird/unsual tastes.
The ABV came out a nice consistent dark brown.
After 1 use, all I can say that this has restored my faith in vaporizing.
For those of you that have Toro Double Micros, the straight or 45 degree 14m to 18f adapters will both work.
Off I go to vacuum the house.

I also got mine today. There doesn't appear to be any flaws and it heated up in less than 2 minutes. I haven't tried it yet.
Dumb question.. what is the black band for?

It is a wrist band you can wear. You can also wrap it around the device to help act as insulation between the device and you hand.

Damn, I was waiting for your review!

It seem like they need to redo the Web for the warranty of international clouds. I think you would be better contacting them through his Web.
