That just happened...
I keep my classic in a outside tool shed and leave it on 24/7. It's been on for over a year with no problem both in the freezing winter and hot summer.

There is a filter on the air intake so sucking in foreign matter isn't a big problem. You can rinse the filter in a sink and reuse it if it gets dirty.

I sometimes connect my whip directly to the ez valve and hit it directly. Works awesome. Just turn the fan off between tokes.

Excellent!!! Thanks everyone. I know this thing is a tireless beast, but it's great to be confident about leaving it on. Much appreciated.

headdoctor,
Yeah, keep in mind there are 10 year old volcanoes still in use in dispensaries and coffee shops around the world, and they get knocked around and abused by all types of rabble everyday!

So I am looking to buy a volcano, and I was wondering if this was a decent price for the entire set? (Classic + EZ)

I'll assume your question is a serious one. No, that's a ridiculous price. Maybe I'm missing something, but you can get a new Volcano Fedexed overnight to you for considerably less ($539). (I've had good luck with Vapeworld. Be aware that Volcano strongly discourages discounts. Some vendors will include cases or grinders, etc.) Volcanoes do keep a good resale value. Look for a used Classic/EZ around $350-$400+, depending on condition. Good luck.

So I just got the digital after being a longtime Da Buddha user.

I have tried vaping at 345, 379, 385, and 390, and I am finding the best results @ 385F. The only thing is I don't find myself nearly as high as I was with my DBV. Not sure why....I take about 6 hits each time.

I feel clouded and buzzed but not the high that I like and am used to.

Hi guys, ive been searching for months on what type of tubing the volcano vaporizer uses inside. Im really stumped and i was considering just going with "Tygon Sanitary Silicone Tubing 3350" from usplastic, but i thought id post first and ask if anyone actually knows what tubing is really is or can make a suggestion on which one would be the best for this application.

A little history about the vap, it was beat up, i managed to bring it back into a working condition, i fixed the circuits on the motherboard and the vaccum inside, for now i just have food grade silicon tubing inside there but the diameter is a little small so my bags take alot longer to fill, its actually kind of nice but id prefer to get the proper tubing.

Thanks Again,

DankVap

I've never peeked up under one's skirt, let alone messed with the tube, but looking at videos and considering the application that or any similar tube should be fine. It doesn't seem to be a heat issue, although it does seem to have some potential problems:

Ya i already fixed this issue, its quite common with alot of volcano, i don't think those tubes even get heated up because theres just sucking in air from under it and then forcing it in the top chamber, i believe that chamber is where the element is heated.

thanks alot though, i appreciate your response, i think ill just go with what i listed in my first post.

why tygon? the Silcon on that website is cheaper and is rated 100-500F.

I'm thinking about buying a 10ft length for my log vape stems

ya your right, i didn't notice that i must on clicked on something else, im actually gonna go with the silicone then, cause the vap is usually at 365-385F and ive also heard its taste-less and resist block up well.

Digital (with solid valve) user here.

Can someone go into depth about the difference in temperatures, how it affects the high with CBD and THC and all that jazz.

Thanks

Generally I would say keep under 200c so your range would be around 170-190c for a headdier high rather than a stone. But you'll have to experiment to see what works for you.

Just switched to a volcano classic solid valve after having an extreme q for a year... The Q was a lovely first vape and i learnt a lot from it... first 6 months i preferred it to the volcano, even though the cano was the vape i originally wanted as i had used it in amsterdam many times.. After continual sinus trouble when vaping with the Q i thought to myself well enough's enough.. i need to know if this is vapor in general causing my sinus pain or whether it was maybe the Q or the solo.

I haven't had any nose trouble since making the switch over and i haven't had to use water filtration at all... as much as people slate the volcano on price, i personally still wanted one most of the time i had my Q... i loved my Q but I always had that soft spot for a volcano ...

Making the switch over just confirmed to me that although the Q is a great vape, its in my opinion no where near as health concious as the volcano... Personally i have lost my trust in Arizer since making the switch over and will be selling my Q and solo...

People may slate the cano, but buying one just confirmed its superiority to me... its still king in my opinion.. so pleased i made the switch over personally.. i advise anyone who has bad nose or sinus trouble from vaping to try a volcano out if possible.. its sorted my vaping issues right out...

Now all i need is the vapexhale cloud and my custom underdog to be finished and my vape collection will be complete.... (bar a decent health conscious powerful portable but nothings caught my eye yet)

Have you been tempted to search inside for debris/dust accumulations, just to know if that's possible?...

good point... i have unscrewed the 4 screws at the bottom and tapped out and cleaned where i can, unfortunately you can't get to everywhere you would like... I'm not so sure it was dust causing the problem anyway it possibly could have been and its good point but personally i just think there was some part or material somewhere that i just didn't agree with but who knows its all a mystery!

you raise a good point though... i don't think i'm quite through with my extreme, i will be looking to sell it to a friend where i will still use it occasionally rather than sell it online and never see the little fella again :|

I've started using a different technique with my volcano and thought I would share. Take about .2 grams and evenly cover the bottom of the easy bowl. Then take the liquid pad and push it down into the bowl making a herb sandwich. Turn the volcano to maximum heat and let er rip. You get one really thick juicy bag. I use large turkey bags so for me this is a pretty big bag of thick noxious vapor. The herb will be totally spent but it's a pretty satisfying way to get rid of .2 grams. :)

Interesting idea. I can see a couple of potential advantages right off. I also wonder if the same idea works with concentrates? That is put a second pad on top, 'facing down' as it were.....

Thanks for the post.
