Why should we be the only ones getting retarded in 12 minutes flat?

You sir are correct, I'm pretty lucky to use the HT every day so I feel a part of the cloud in every high I get into :)

So, while discussing the Cloud with my husband, we came up with a car-based comparison.

The Cloud looks to be the "Lexus" of vapes. Or whatever YOUR idea of the best luxury car is. We are currently using a "Izuzu Trooper" level vape... and, like the vehicle, it's adequate for the trip, though isn't as plush and full-featured as a Lexus.

So, my husband pretty much talked me down to "Camry" level vapes. He's happy with the Izuzu, but I think since we both vape, the additional capacity and slightly better vape temps (ours tops out at 400F) might be worth it.

I really did/do want a Cloud, but I'm going to be "drivin' a Camry" for the foreseeable future. I'll keep hoping for a Lexus...

I would agree with Lexus - I would have to compare to something with performance - a slight kick in the groin if I may - perhaps a Ferrari?

And the MFLB is a vespa! :lol: And if you don't pull on the throttle just right you won't feel any power, and you have to make sure your battery is always charged, oh - and there's lots of technique riding a Vespa but once you get the hang of it you'll love it.....

Hey everyone, i've read the entire thread and I must have this vape! I'm assuming that they are sold out because the website is nearly always down for me. I was excited to hear about the Evolver HydraCirc limited stock but am wondering if I missed out? Vapexhale insists that these "latest stock" are definitely reliable and get hot enough on the upper temp range so I want to pull the trigger but can't?

We are looking at about a few weeks then for more stock? Also, is there any sort of FC discount like before with the 8 free ELBs?

Looking forward to join the Cloud Family! :)

Some of us international customers already have pre-orders from before you could just buy a cloud in the US but if I'm being honest I don't think they mean anything anymore, I think we just have to wait. I believe VXL was hoping to have international clouds available at international retailers on 4/20 (australianvaporizers.com was mentioned) but I don't think we'll be able to actually have one in time for 4/20.

Well I must be one very unlucky person. I just got my cloud 2 days ago. When I first turned it on at 12 o'clock position it got so hot I couldn't pick it up. I turned it off for a hour to let it cool down then back on and it still got pretty hot but I could pick it up. I got to use it once and now it's no longer working. Now when I turn it on it turns red like normal. Then after about 2-3 minutes it starts flashing green twice then red 3 times.

I email Vapexhale only for them to try and talk me into throwing out another $150 to get a better version? This has me lost...how do you try to upsale me a better version when mine is broken. What kind of message does this send to me? I take it as in they designed the first one poorly and now want more money for the good product. Why should I have to pay anymore for a properly designed product?

I'm not trying to put the company down but come on...I've spent $500 for a paper weight. I have been reading and reading on these forums and saw all the positive things about this vape which is why I say I must be one very unlucky person. I wish my experience was better but now I'm back to a waiting game with no vape to use while I try to get something done about this one.
 
Did you get the form to fill out and mail back with your vaporizer? I got the upgrade offer too, however my cloud lasted for almost one year so it made sense. I wouldn't take the email personally just yet because it might be an automated reply for warranty claims. It's been three weeks since my replacement arrived at the repair center and I still don't have a cloud, so mail it in ASAP.

Aww, no fair. I never pre-ordered the cheap pack in the original thread because I could never get a clear answer on how it applied to International versions, if at all. :c

I assume then, that since you just received your unit that it is in fact a Cloud "Plus"? Did you purchase this from VapeXhale directly or through a retailer? I don't want to jump to a conclusion just yet, but hearing your anecdote is disheartening considering what I was just told by VXL 2 days ago, but i'm really hoping it's just a fluke, and you are among the purchasers of a Plus that had the manufacturing issues. I don't understand what the $150 would be for other than a 3rd year of warranty, or as purplek said an auto generated reply? Regardless, a properly functioning Cloud simply cannot be beat. Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks Troi! I finally got on your webstore late last night.. now i'm a little curious, and you didn't address my question regarding FC discounts? SM55 indicated earlier in this thread that FC members get a "better discount" than the High Times which I think was 8 ELBs if I recall correctly? I don't want it to sound like I just signed up for this forum for an extra discount (been a long time lurker), but AFAIK there is no FC discount now?

Troi, can you give any heads up as to whether there will be a discount on 4/20? I may be wrong, but i'm assuming/thinking that you guys will be ramping up a bit for 4/20 and with a new website if the reports here are all correct. Just to confirm, your limited production is anticipated for the next few weeks only? I don't want to defer any sales for a month, but I also don't want to pull the trigger right now when i'd be able to save $50+ on 4/20 or something. Thanks Troi, your updates are very most appreciated, and if you can quell my concern for a lower price in the near future, and hopefully with a FC discount I will be buying one of those Evolver packages right away :) THANKS AGAIN!

SM55 told me that they will honor the price, in fact this where his words in February, 22:

No problem, you will receive the discounted price!

But when I contacted them through the web they told me that I will have to pay full price and they will give me the difference in credit shop. In the end I will have to pay like everyone but will have some extra cash. The truth is that I would have preffered the discount, I won't need anything after my first order (obviusly I will order everything I need) and I can't use the credit in my first order neither, so I will be stuck with some credit store instead of the discount.

Edit: Just wanted to make clear that I'm not trying to attack VXL or anything, they have been really polite and answer all my questions always. Just telling international preorderers what I know till know.

How do you tell the cloud apart from the clould plus? I was told the $150 was to get the better updated version. I did some searching after what you said and it's really confusing me. Other retail stores online are selling the Cloud plus for the same price only adding $150 for the extra year of warranty. Through email exchanges with Phil he's telling me I have to pay $150 for the updated model not the warranty...Although it would come with a warranty. I am very disappointed at this point. $450 for the vape + $30 shipping + more shipping to send it back. I've only used it for 5 minutes and it died and now they want $150 more. Come on are you selling products or trying to extort money.

VXL nor any of its distributors can sell the cloud less then MSRP. Like many other vaporizer company's that mass distribute we are not able to have sales. There is the VXCLovesFC coupon that gives you 40$ in value of ELB's.

the website isn't working for me too. In regards to a discount, I agree that store credit is lame. On a more positive not, SM is the man in charge so I would take his word over others at the company.

I have filed a formal ticket with them. That's when the $150 charge came up. What I really want to know at this point is if I already have a cloud plus seeing as I received it 2 days ago. So how do I tell the difference between the regular cloud and the cloud plus?

It has been like that a while. Think it means out of stock or maybe you need to contact them directly.

As far as I can tell, the website has been completely depopulated of all inventory for quite some time. The only exception is the Evolver HydraCirc packages that come available from time to time. Getting the website to work has been hit or miss at my end . . .

We have outgown our server. We are going to be launching a new website on an enterprise level server in the next few days. Website issues will be a thing of the past very soon ;)
