Discontinued Inhalater XP

I just got my Inhalater XP in the mail... or at least I think it's an XP.

I was watching this video:

and noticed that my XP looks different. My temperature knob only goes up to 9 (and is actually solid black) and mine only has 2 holes as opposed to 4 holes near the mouth piece. My sticker does indicate XP though...

maybe they made some differences, a solid back temp knob sounds dope IMO..
My sticker goes up to 9 also but after that it has an option for the tobacco mode

not sure why they changed it to 2 holes?? i really hope they didnt give you a restickered 004*..
you should contact pharmacor and see what thats all about..
mine was one of the first units out though, couldve been some changes made?

also what is that around the LEDs?? it looks a little different from mine, they mightve made an update to that part because i remember letting them know the led fell off my xp easily.

Two holes would be the regular IMO. Maybe they made there own stickers. The only thing is I don't get is that they are both the same price so what does the seller have to gain by doing this unless dumping old stock

BTW got my new caps and they fit wayyyyyyyyyy better. One did come all crunched up but i think it will be fine.

I love the black knob sticker though, that's an awesome update!

How's the airflow? The XP should also heat faster, how many seconds to 9?

We didn't hear about that change...I am suspicious till we know for sure. The black does look better but still it is a sticker and we don't want the numbers on a sticker. If if it manages to stay on eventually the numbers I suspect will be rubbed off.

Looks like the 004 to me. A big giveaway imo is the hygenic mouthpiece, all the new XPs just have useless cut up tubes, these ones look like the original mouthpieces.

Edit: Actually, on second look this might be the XP, hard to say. I don't get why they would change it again in such a short period though.

I think the easiest way to tell if this is an xp or not will be to see if it has the tobacco mode. If you go all the way past the highest setting on the dial the light should flash several quick blinks in a row to inditate that it is in auto mode. Does your XP do that? If not I would guess you have a mis-labeled INH.

I put it to 9 and it did a slow blink into a rapid blink. It took 31 seconds to get to a solid green. So it looks like internally it's an XP?

put it past 9 u should get a type of blinking you havent seen before, i have to go look at my xp to describe it but you will notice it..

yup mine does..it actually looks like someone just cut and paste it to the end of the knob

Yes, there is a special icon. Like an upside down cross. I put it to that and it does rapid blinks, then no light, then rapid blinks

Dont worry then you got an xp, mine does the same exact thing
it is possible they made changes to the stickers [ i remember early in the thread a lot of people said all black with white letters would be better ]
also it really does look like they put in something to support the LEDs i complained about [ easy to fall off ]

and im not sure why they cut down on the 2 holes, maybe so the temperature doesn't fall too much when u inhale cause of all the air coming through?? who knows, best to contact pharmacor.

I just emailed Pharmacor regarding whether or not it's a legit XP. Upon activating tobacco mode and seeing how long it took to get to 9 (30 seconds) I think it's at least internally an XP. The 2 holes still bother me though.

Lastly, I forgot to mention that my box looks improved. While it doesn't say XP, it did come with a plastic insert unlike the video I linked.

also your top cap is different than mine, yours is more rounder looking while mine is flat on the top, also i see clear tubes.. i didnt get that

so there are a couple minor differences between my xp and yours

This is really interesting. I wonder if they would be willing to replace the units already shipped out with these new ones. I would assume that if they did change it they made it better.

People were saying the hits were harsh and there was more than enough airflow, I can see them going to just two of the larger airholes

I would be glad of getting a two hole INH... I have a lot of things to say but it will have to wait until Sunday when I'll have some time... Not happy at all with Pharmacor... They take backward steps. More in a couple of days.

Definitely an XP. Two larger holes instead of 4 also makes more sense to me. I often plug up a hole or 2 on my XP when I am using it to slow down the flow. Maybe they did some revisions to the XP as they were making it and you got the latest model. I would guess the guts are all the same but your sticker looks better and I think the 4 hole air flow of mine is overkill so maybe Pharmacore discovered that and went back to 2.

so i was having a session right now with my new xp and 1 wasnt enough so i decided to hit another sessiojn back to back. i refill my capsle right away and put it back...i turn it on and then the light starts go flashing in a steady timming and then it goes off...anyone had the same problem?


edit:woop i just relaised i had already 8 sessions...i thought the battery was supposed to handle some more..like 10 or something...i put the beast in rest mode for now...

Yeah I know I hate it when I only get 5 sesh's out of my Pax instead of the usual 6!

Hello

Due to initial adjustments, some XP's have 4 holes. They are now standardised at 2. We have produced some XP's with non XP logos.

You may recognise XP electronics by the automatic mode wich has a distinctive pulse flashing. This mode is located at the leftmost temperature setting. Past the highest number on the dial.
