I definitely could not splurge the extra $50 - $60 bucks for express shipping. So I'll probably get by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week I guess. As it was, it was $20 dollars shipping.

But, now, where to even start on this 194 page thread. LOL ;-).

I am so excited yet again, I can't believe in 2 weeks, I spent $1000 on vapes. LMAO. I'm insane. Thankfully, my wife isn't going to divorce me.

I figured it out today ... today I got my 15th vape in a period of 15 months today! I bought my first vaporizer April 26th, 2011, exactly 15 months ago. (a few have been trades and one has been a replacement for my M105 solo to M1A, however, still 12 purchased!). I don't want to add up what I've spent (probably a couple thousand) I've sold a total of 1 and given away and traded 5. So my spending is at 12 vapes less $500 that I got for selling my Volcano Digit which was $800 new after taxes and everything!

Is there anyway to get a Could without a hydrator?

No ... but I'm sure you could sell the HT ... I'll give you $150 for a tree one to compliment my ShowerDome :)

Anyone else here order a stand from deadfootdesigns.com? Any idea of how long it should take to get here?

Day 2 and the cloud is already starting to feel like an old friend! For me one or two hits is plenty to get past where I was used to going with 7-8 hits on the solo. Much more effortless all the way around.

For two, I have to inhale fairly hard, or the vapor production isn't great, it's ok, but not great (if it only produced like it did when I pull lightly I'd be extremely disapointed, however, it performs so well if I pull decently hard that I love it anyways!)

Anyways ... feedback would be appreciated!

When I use the HydroCirc I have the exact same experience. I haven't tried going all the way up to 3, but I will try that out and see how that goes. Either way i am loving it through other pieces and having been using my solo during heat up times anyway so getting the adapter for the HT could put it to more use.

So believe it or not, after spending $450 on a WISPR and a Extreme Q and getting them on Tuesday of this week, my wife is going to let me buy a VapeXhale Cloud today!

1. I am having buyer's remorse before I even pull the trigger. This thread is the main reason I want this thing. It sounds like it's the best of the best. But maybe, I'm going overkill as the Extreme Q is doing very well by me. I do like the all glass Vapor Path, and the water cooling. I'm worried about the tubing in the Extreme Q.

2. Let's say I can pass #1 cause that's easy for me. I'm now trying to decide which package I want. The HydraCirc vs the HydraTree. I saw the difference posted above, but having never used a type of tube like either, I have no judge on comparison. I'm thinking of going with the HydraTree.

3. How fragile are these tubes? Does it come with something I can put it in when I finish using? It doesn't look like a normal water piece, so standing it straight up seems kinda scary.

4. Let's say I order this tonight (as soon as someone answers me somewhat and quells my worries [if]), how long will it take to get me to? Is it a long time before ordering and shipping?

Thanks for all your help.

NewVaper420 I had the volcano for many years. I then upgraded to the ViVape, both great vaporizers. However the Cloud out performs both. It is well worth the money. You can sell the others on ebay. My ViVape is up for sale now. You'll love it. listen to your wife.
Good Luck!

Hey Jarmband, we are shipping your stand Saturday. It's been humid and hot and I want the finish to be cured. Thanks!

Interesting ... so maybe this is more a behaviour of the HydroCirc then the Cloud running cooler or different? That would be awesome if that was the case! Do other members feel the same way? Is it the same with the other HT's like the HydraTree?

Edit: and on a side note ... although I have to do great big pulls, it works awesome and I'm quite "happy" right now ... Cloud induced :)

I've been using a simple (soft) beer coozie as an HT holder and it works suprisingly well. It's quite stable, the bottom is soft and it offers pretty good protection from minor desktop mishaps that could be otherwise devastating.

I have forgotten the ELB all together a-la-pappy ;) and I have to admit I forgot the top of the ELB once. This lead to my medicine being injected into my showerdome. It rinsed out easily enough but

So, I love the cloud.

I'll do no review. You have read them already.

Easy Load Bowl. Good name. Only the loading is easy *wink wink* *nudge nudge*. I did not love the stock ELB design, so I had to do a "day 1 mod".

This is 50 sec of shaky bad video, but you get the idea.

Made from notebook spine. One lifts the elb from cloud, the other pops the lid super easy. Also, as you can see at the end it is safe with the hydratube and glass adapters.

The tree is more fizzy, the circ more chuggy. The tree requires a bit more pull compared to the virtually effortless circ.

According to VapeArt's classified ad for the evolver HT, he states that the tree provides less drag. I think you may have it backwards, but can anyone else confirm? I'm a glass noob.

Just to weigh in again, my experience is that there is little drag with either tube but for the two that we are discussing the Evolver HydraTree has less drag than the in-house HydraCirc. They both work great and i encourage new users not to worry too much about "did I order the correct one?" From what I can tell, using it with a number of different types of HydraTubes, it's all about the Cloud... if you can get decent air flow through whatever you are using the Cloud will (pick one or more):
- lift you into the clouds
- knock you on your ass :horse:
- put a huge smile on your face
- lead to occasional bouts of drooling :mmmm:
- have you looking for new and old favorite strains so you can taste them anew
- give you a whole new outlook on vaping
- render most of your other vapes obsolete
- have you wondering how this is possible :hmm:
- turn you into a Cloud evangelist... "no really, it's not like other vapes!" :mental:
- get you and your Cloud invited to "visit" various "friends" more than before
- have you feeling a large amount of gratitude to StoneMonkey and the rest of the VXC crew

This thread is just getting better and better. I have to stop coming here for that few months until I'll hear my own one ticking. But you know what sucks? I can't. This thread is a magnet.

Well, it seems like maybe with the express shipping, I would have possibly gotten it Saturday but I didn't want to take that $40 dollar chance. Now, reading threw this thread, I feel incredible joy and also my wallet feels very broke :-). I'm so pumped. Hopefully I'll have it by Tuesday. I know they are in Cali so it's only 4:14 am for them LOL :-). Waiting on my shipping receipt. Thank GOD I got into vaping now. I don't know how you guys waited, what, 2 years? Also, pre-Cloud I was like oh, I'll buy a Plenty, an SSV, an LSV. Nope, don't think I need any of that now. If anything, I just need more portables. Next, they need to make a portable cloud LOL.

I've been reading threw the thread but it's very long, LOL :-)

Question, right now I have been using the stock Extreme Q with the cyclone bowl. I've been doing about .2 and that has been getting me nice. Does the cloud use more or less? Also, how many rips can you take from one ELB at noon position?

if you are using the cyclone and not packing the elbow, much less. An elbow pack is about .15g, and an average elb fill for me is around .15-.2g. elbow packs are the way to go with the EQ, IMO

id say that filling the cyclone is around .3-.4g+

you wont catch me hitting my cloud at a minute over 10:00, but I get about 3 rips out of .15-.2g

Cool. I haven't actually been filling the cyclone, i've just been measuring .2 and putting it in the cyclone bowl loosely. So, if you say that an elb is .15 to .2, that is wonderful.

:-).

One of the goals of vaporization for me, is to lessen the amount I use a day (as you guys know, it's pretty expensive). So I used to combust about 2 grams a day. I am trying to get it down to 1 gram a day. That would be amazing. So far, I'm doing pretty well (but I've only had it since Tuesday).

Edit: I assume it still doesn't come with that crazy awesome storage packaging (someone mentioned it came in bubble wrap now). I just saw the picture on Vaporpedia. That storage box looks awesome.

I would love to buy a stand from Tstat but I need a case, cause I know if it's standing up, I'll still knock it over somehow. I'd rather have it laying on it's side protected in foam.

You may be right. I was going from memory and what I thought SM had told me, but it would hardly be the first time that I got something backwards. :D

That pic on the vaporpedia was planned to be real, but had to be rejected because of cost. Getting protctive case would be still better.

I have one. The business was started up by Tstat here, and his son. IIRC it was shipped USPS. The thread is here:

For me .15 is half filling the ELB, and .25 is close to the cap (which inserts into the ELB ~1/4 of the way). I don't like to tamp it down. I don't hit hard, so I easily get ~half a dozen hits from .15. I can't make a number-of-hits comparison between the Q and Cloud because they hit differently. The Cloud's extraction performance is considerably superior. I think I use maybe 1/4-1/3 less material, a definite plus. But the big payoff is in the experience - cooler, smoother, easier.

JCat, I definitely gotta pull hard on the SGW. As I used it for the last time last night, I came to an important realization that was causing me some frustration previously. This is just my own experience and may relate or help (or not). Since the Cloud extracts so efficiently and thoroughly quickly, I find that I need to set a temp and leave it, and hit it until there are no more appreciable clouds. Rather than have it at a temp, increase temp, vape more, increase temp possibly again. I find my best abv is just leaving it at a certain temp. For example, if I start and finish on max temp my abv will be dark chocolate brown, but if I start at noon and finish on max, my abv won't be as dark even though I finished at the same temp. I hope that make sense, but it finally solved my abv dilemma I was having.

Sounds like your Cloud works identical to mine Jcat, and glass makes a bigger difference than I thought. This is a big eye opener for me, but definitely explains alot from what we see in other members vids.

Amid The Vapors...
I just want to reiterate this point, to anyone still on the fence about buying a Cloud, it is worth the money. If you're like me, this vaporizer will SAVE you money.

I'm an old school long time hobbyist. I spend a good amount of money on this whole thing. Before this, a Volcano was my daily driver. I find myself using about HALF the amount now with the Cloud. I am in utter shock. Don't get caught up in worries about water filtration lowering the % of actives.. For whatever the reason; better absorption, different usage patters, whatever, I'm SAVING MONEY with this thing..

Well, I was saving money, until I started buying glass anyway ;)
