Ok so then I can have a clear rooster? I think that would look better anyways? Anyone else agree?

Oh I am not too upset with anything. I just have always had a thing against putting logos and stuff on glass pieces. I would want to remove it even if he was the coolest dude ever.

In terms of the review I just worry about recommending something and then having someone have a bad experience because they tried to contact him. If I do a review, I will say something along the lines of just purchase it from NVS or AquaLab and go with a standard type of configuration. I would not attempt to contact him for custom work... something like that.

I purchased some of the AcidMagic.

t-dub could you do us a favor a photograph your results?

actually, I do, the clear logos would be less intrusive, but still there... if any of you guys do take them off, can you try to post pics?

Product notes: 100% pure DuPont Oxone® Monopersulfate Compound (potassium peroxymonosulfate, 42.8%). Active oxygen level is 4.3%. Use at the rate of 1 1/2 - 2 oz. per 500 gallons of water upon startup. (2 tablespoons = approx. 1 1/2 oz.) If using an alternative sanitizer such as Nature2, Frog, or Cleanwater Blue, follow that product's instructions for shocking. Also called Oxy Shock.

The oxidizer shouldn't change the pigments "in vitro" so-to-speak, just reveal what is there. But if you use this on a colored fritt and it messes it up, NOT MY FAULT! Haven't tested that yet, and can't since I don't have a colored fritt, but it stands to reason it wouldn't hurt it.

I picked up some AcidMagic and some Oxy-Spa MPS from the SpaDepot. Interestingly they are based out of Olympia Wa... so it should arrive the day after they ship.

so i know my price range, what did people pay for their DG Cans? i am looking at that mobius piece i just posted. i can grab it for $360 from ALT right now so i am curious what the difference would be. of course they don't have it in stock either. maybe NVS will, nope, no mobius. surprising

Bob, I don't have a "can" but I thought they were $320? Seems like the price landscape might be shifting . . . :\ ALT had one for $275, gone of course. Not sure if that was sale or full retail . . .

yea, i saw a youtube vid that had the price from NVS for a 18 in tube for $250. if they are over $300 for the mini can, then i am moving even further off the fence. of course without access to that mobius.....
tomorrow looks to be interesting regardless.

I know this is going to sound "fan boy" but the 16" convertible w/24mm for $350 was a effing deal. It does everything I need. The only drawback is I have to do dabs when I'm at the end of my diffuser medium run because I do not like the taste afterwards and cleaning is necessary. Other than that (and it would be the same on any piece), I am a happy, happy, camper.

Been enjoying switching back between my solo/PVHES stem and my T1 w/ AC adapter on the mini can. Pretty good set up. I am eager to get my hands on the PVHES GonG stem, but the hot weather has delayed the glass blowing, so it looks like more waiting...

that's why I don't think mine would get as white. I believe my "fritt" was made with clear clear mostly then white glass as filler. Then all mixed together. IDK just a thought.

My mobius matrix bub is garbage IMO in comparison to the DG and I paid less for the DG. Just sayin

YES exactly, which is why I think "cleaning" with MPS will just reveal what is "in vitro" to begin with :)

Bob, the cans are $280, the 16"/18" convertables(24mm with reducer that also acts as a globe, and mini frit filters for combustion) are $350. I think the tubes also come in 18mm female, that are around the price of the mini cans. It sounded like there should be so good stock for tomorrow. A mobius sounds sweet, but hard to find. Best of luck with the quest.
Edit: im calling them right when they open, but still on the fence of a full trigger pull. The hammer and one of ed's solo stems are in my basket on puff it up as we speak....

exactly. So with that in mind it most likely shouldn't fuck up a colored "fritt" either? But I'm not trying that :)
