Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

OK fair enough, I still stick to my opinion, here are my answers:
-Yes that noise is a NO GO all the way for me!
Do you live your life in a sound proof room?
-Yes a bowl that you have to take out between each hit if you do not want your weed to percolate is unfriendly IMO! (BTW: JUST HAVING THE ELB HOOK UP TO THE FEMALE JOINT OF THE HT / OR THE FEMALE JOINT OF YOUR BONG SOLVES THIS... it's an easy fix & major improvement for the product IMO!)
The amount of vapor loss is minimal. there is no easy way to redesign the cloud to have the elb in the hydra tube. that is just absurd
-Please compare the size of a cloud to : a Magik Wand, an Herborizer, a vriptech heatwand or anything else made for vapor bonging...you hook the cloud to one of your pieces IT IS ENORMOUS (it might either even not fit because your piece's base is too small to handle the weight, either cause the "downstem" is to close from the core of the bong for that fat boy...)! And the cloud + Hydratube measures almost 50 cm with a thin base (prone to future breakage)...THAT I call "silly ergonomics" for 2 reasons:
A. the cloud unit itself is extremely light.
B. nothing on my hydra tube(s) is thin.
C. when not on the cloud the hydra circ stands study all on it's own.
D. My cloud and hydra circ are less than 15" tall and nothing sticks out what so ever.

Unlike this ridiculous contraption
vriptechusage.jpg

This is way more ergonomical, it's smaller than your average 18" straight tube.

img1571fw.jpg

1/a high quality glass piece staying up there daily
2/a one hand supposedly held vape...common this is like a baseball bat! I was already saying the LSV + transfer wand was a little ridiculous, but this held in one hand "makes no sense" IMO!

Pretty small baseball bat if you ask me.

sp1.jpg

-Never said it is diffusing air in my vape (BTW you would notice I never criticized the vapor density which is impressive in this unit, as much as my SSV or my Oracle) just that the f***ing HT doesn't match with the cloud joint, wobbles and that I do not accept for a "high end" vape and a high end piece of glass...man the schott glass joints norm is universal...is that too hard to ask for a piece that price???
-Not talking about the ELB or the hydratube...ROFL, own a little glass, know my cleaning process thx! Just saying that a unit where you cannot access "easily" the main airpath (in the guts) is for me : "a not easy to clean unit". BTW, after 6 months off whip usage, I toss it and use a new one...hihi!
-Why doesn't the AV hold a candle to the HT??? because the AV doesn't leak when you turn it upside down, or because it doesn't has these complicated percs that makes you loose flavor and time cleaning?
Bro' this is totally subjective!!!!!
-About pricing sorry for 2/3 of the price, though on ebay + classified I can get the combo for 1/2 the price...

I would disagree.
The cloud is the best vaporizer, IMO, and all other vapes, I sacrifice certain aspects of the cloud to allow for portability, stealth or smell.
The Cloud really is the best vaporizer. Depending on the situation there may be better choices but they are not better vaporizers.
Preach the truth if you need to preach.

Oh please, this is nonsense. "IMO" is exactly the point here. It's your opinion and it is not shared by everyone.

If portability is important to me, the Cloud sucks. If I am a glass-breaking klutz, the Cloud is definitely not for, especially at that price point. If I need stealth, the Cloud is useless. Following your post, Tea Party (who started this by declaring it the best vape hands down) responded to FLskwat as follows. Because he responded inside a quote (use forums much, TP?) I had to put his responses in bold. My comments in [square brackets] point out how subjective his response is.

I also said "very impressed" in the same quote, ROFL!

In an eye blink the major cons:
-Noise
Really? that faint ticking bothers you? my ceiling fan masks most of the noise. [subjective, noise tolerance varies by individual]
-Price
How many other vapes come with a high quality american made borosilicate tube? [subjective, since lots of us don't care for or even dislike glass]
-ELB so user unfriendly (either you take it out, either it vapes your weed for you)
User unfriendly? Mine are cashed in 2-3 hits and come out easily. [subjective, others have reported completely different experiences]
-Looks/size (this thing is much too big for a bong vape and with its hydratube the ergonomics are not the best)
The whole thing is much smaller than I expected. How big should it be for being a vape bong? The whole thing is smaller then even a medium size bong. The ergonomics of this are the best part it's like hitting a 16" straight tube. [subjective, your expectations aren't mine or anyone else's]
-Joint of my vertigo hydratube not good seal=wooble
Can't blame you for that. though I will say if it wobbles it will still seal well. I highly doubt you vapor is being diluted with air because of the wobble.
-No Packaging/no cleaning tool for the price...
No packaging? Really? this thing came better packed than almost anything I have ever bought. The only case that will offer solid sturdy protection is something along the lines of a pelican case which costs about $60-$100
-Complicated to clean
Dropping the elbs in a baggy of iso? pouring some salt and iso into the hydra tube and shaking for 20 seconds is hard? I'll bet you it takes longer to clean a whip.
-Flavor: I have better flavors with my SSV+ AquaVape (probably because its guts are not uber clean...)

So for half the price I get more satisfaction and easiness to use with my SSV for example then my cloud...for example!

The fact that has to rationalize away the points that someone else thinks detract from the Cloud proves my point. It is only the best vapourizer for him, not for everyone.

Um, 3/4 of this forum harps about "all glass air path"

Heat naturally rises but come on, there is going to be a huge difference in this respect between the Cloud and the HA. If not, my grasp on reality might be slipping, but time will tell for sure. :peace:

I am really looking forward to your review! Can you please compare your abv between the ha and the vxc? Also, the ha will fit in a ht without any mods!

That just happened...
I'll run mine for an extended amount of time from the Schumacher today just to make sure you guys don't get screwed. I'll take the risk for you. :)

I have to say that it works just fine. It starts off drawing about 85 watts then as it starts getting hot drops down to 20-40 watts. LED operation and heating are the same as plugged into a wall. The clicking has a bit of a different tempo. But I've powered mine this way for several hours now and so far so good.

So what? Even if I accept that percentage (which I don't) there are still lots left who don't give a shit about that, me included.

The Cloud is undoubtedly a great vapourizer. That in no way justifies calling it "the best, hands down"--unless you qualify that with "for me" or "in my opinion" or similar wording, which you did not. You don't know what the best vapourizer for me is. I would think someone who uses the screen name Tea Party would be among the first to understand this.

I'd be wrong, apparently.

Just saying the ELB design "as if" is unfriendly to me cause you need to take it out between each hit if you do not want to waste vapor...

Totally disagree. Maybe your unit is defective. I see a tiny wisp of vapor IMMEDIATELY following a dose when the glass is removed. No more. I get 4 doses per ELB sometimes taking up to an hour to fully accomplish and I feel there is no difference compared to sitting there for 4 back to back to doses.

I have a work around regarding how to keep the ELB out of the Cloud when not in use easily. BUT... but it is not very elegant.

a 3rd piece of glass that goes between the cloud and w/e you are hooking it up to. put the elb in there and then after each hit it would very easily come out.

or even use keck clips to mount it to the bong/HT part of the setup. that would make things a lot more elegant imo.

If i may talk about the issue of vapor leaking out of the cloud when not in use.

if your house is drafty then it could happen more easily. I notice the smell come out into the air much more so than visible vapor. (but i guess where there is a scent there is also vaporization right?)

i leave my bowl in most of the time, but i'm being lazy. :p sometime i will take it out. esp if i turn the vape off. then unless the bowl is cashed I will definitely take it out. if it's cashed i just leave it also.

With the ELB packed full I get 1-2 hits max. The first hit is always fantastic, lung busting, and satisfying. The 2nd hit is usually light and ABV tasting. After that the bowl is cashed. Sessions last maybe 3-5 minutes with me. Then I can get on with my life and go back to whatever I was doing before. Since I don't sit for 30mintues between hits I don't worry about leaving the ELB in the bowl. Personally, for my habits, usage, preferences, and expectations this is the best home vape I have tried.

Home vaporizers and Portable Vaporizers are two different devices completely. I do not think they should be compared. I think we are better served comparing portables to portables and home vaporizer to home vaporizers.

VAPOLITICS!
Tea party my biggest glass piece is 12", and when my wife comes in to the house while my cloud is on and the TV too and asks as 1st question after the usual hello: "where does the click come from"...then I consider it's a burden!
The pix you are showing me the cloud+ hydratube is just a good example of a bad ergonomics IMO, sorry...with quality glass on top of a thin base vape...just calling for a fall, and too tall to fit easily in my hand on my sofa!
Last but not least I have only direct inject pices with straight male joints so any vapor bonging vape fits in parallel with my cans, much more compact then your mini bat (ROFL) & please weight an herborizer heater (like 1/6 of the cloud weight...) or the MW (1/3 probably) before stating the cloud is super light...it is not!

Now you have my opinion as you wanted and I will stick to it! Have a very nice & cloudy day man!

Slightly Medicated that is exactly what I want it for but for when I want to sit back, relax and watch a movie while puffing I wouldn't be able to use it. I don't just puff herb to get a quick high, I also puff to slowly enjoy the different flavors of the herb while preserving herb and still get mega high. Plus the glass and hard inhales which brings a strong rush may scare some of the conservative ladies I deal with while the Aromed I can at least talk her into not thinking she is dealing with a weedhead(even though I am just not the stereotype) by saying it's an electronic hookah and mix the cannabis with some peppermint or thyme and raise the temperature in increments to give her a creeper high and have a fun night she wasn't expecting. The same can be said when puffing with someone older who might not be able to take a fast, rushy type hit. Or when I want to puff with a friend but sit back and talk like when puffing a joint and that's when the magic flight with the power adapter comes into play by manipulating the dialer.

Again for what it does the cloud is the shit.

Wow, that just might be a defective unit, the tick/click is not THAT loud.

Averaging .30 grams per load I get 5 to 6 milky hits per each 3/4 filled ELB.
6 hits and I'm done!
:myday:
Rinse bong, wait hour, repeat as necessary.

How long do you inhale per hit? I average about 20-30 seconds a hit. I assume you are doing smaller length draws?

You know I had seen those but I forgot they were you. I remember you counting with your hands how long you were holding in the hits... I sometimes do that as well. I love how even using the same devices we all hit different ways. It is truly amazing to me the various techniques everyone develops.

It makes it sometimes hard for me when I review. I am very away of the face that what works for me, might not work or even be possible for another individual. The same can be said in the other direction. What works for someone else, might not work for me. I love watching other people use the products I use because it helps me get in the mindset of others.

My experience....I got my Cloud today but I'm having a bit of an issue dialing it in.

Back Story: I'm used to using my Extreme Q with a 3/4 full elbow pack and the whip connected to a small HVY beaker. I like higher temp vaping and usually run the Q around 230. I get very thick clouds with this setup, usually so thick I can not see the stem in the beaker.

Now the Cloud arrives today with the SGW HydraTube. This tube has very little drag compared to the whip/beaker setup. It's super smooth and easy to pull from. I tried the Cloud with a 1/3 full ELB, about the same amount as a 3/4 elbow pack, and was a bit disappointed with the results. There was vapor but no where near as thick as with my Q setup. I tried turning the Cloud up to just before 3'oclock and was still less than thrilled.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of material to test with atm so I went back to using my Q. I hope to be able to continue testing soon and I'm really hoping I can get comparative results with the Cloud.

Sounds like you got a cool running unit. How hot is the heat shield in your hand at that temp?

Hot enough to notice I didn't want to keep my hands touching the screws on the sides for any length of time.

Edit: Also very disappointed I got one with a fubar never nver turn green led. Mine is one of the ones that has the "improved" firmware where the light only flickers green when you adjust the dial and then immediately goes back to being red all the time.
