No.

I'm just complaing about the fact that the customer is supposed to read the 300 pages of these thead to be able to make a proper use of your products.

I ordered 1.5 carts because on this thread everyone was saying that they are great "no leaks, no clogs" but wasn't able to use them properly because you stated nowhere how to use them.

I followed the instructions on vaporpedia and planetvape, but couldn't know they were old and just for 2.4 carts.

So please keep up to date your instructions.

Now I know that it was my mistake to order 1.5 carts instead of 2.4, but couldn't know it before ordering and reading every single post of this thread.

I am going to have to disagree with you.

On the site it says for experienced users.

Also we dont have access to the vaporpedia page, that is done by someone on this board.

there is to many different types of oils, techniques, and other variables that cant be foreseen. You cant account for it all.

This problem could have been avoided if you would have contacted me, you know thats what im here for, i would have told you that from the start.

how can a user be experienced with 1.5 carts without using them?

or do you mean with "experienced users" , users who read every single post on this thread?

I thought "experienced users" would mean users with a high tolerance. My mistake.
But couldn't know that I shoudn't follow the instructions of the (planetvape/vaporpedia) user guides, because they were just for 2.4 carts.

You should make your own user guides in order to keep them updated.

Once again your not understanding what i am trying to say.

That does not say for users with high tolerance, it says experienced users.

Experienced user = someone who has been using this system for a while now and knows the ins and outs and is comfortable with increasing the performance of the device in question.

now maybe you should have asked what that means before you purchased cartridges?

You know that majority of user asks questions to the seller before they buy, it would be great if you would have just asked a question before you purchased anything.

Hey i can Nerf the items for people if thats what it takes but a little common sense would help from the buyers side also.

I understand what you mean...

But you, why don't you keep your user-guides up to date?
If the user-guides were up to date, I wouldn't have to complain about anything...
But without any information, I could not know how to use the 1.5 carts, nor how to not use the them.

So once again "how can a user be experienced with 1.5 carts without using them?"

And as I said before, it was my mistake to order 1.5 carts, but you do your part of mistakes too, by not informing correctly your customers. A few warnings would reach.
Or simply write that they are "only for testing purposes" if you know that these carts are to tricky to be used by customers who dont follow the whole thread here post by post.

http://www.delta9vapes.com/products.php?product=5-pack-Extract-Cartridges-1.5-ohm-for-3.7v the warning is there in red, always has been. No matter how much I read I still had some minor issues at first learning to get the 1.5 carts to work trouble free.

So I just got my chrome hvd in the mail! Wooohooo been waiting for this!!! Opened up the box, and screwed the top right on to my long tube v2 and away we go! I'm running a 1.5 with some fire og sugar wax, and man this thing rips! I started on the 2.4s and ran about 3gs through a cart, then went to 1.5s and fell in love! It took me a little while to realize that slower = bigger. I didn't think I would like the push on/off, but after using it i think I like it better than the momentary! Thanks G I really like the new setup! I'm a customer for life! I also really like the short tube I'm gonna try and shorten up a cart .5-.75 inch to go with the short tube, for the ultimate shorty set up!

I think we can all agree that the product guides could use work. I can see how even the guide that comes with the Omi can be confusing. This can also be said about most gadgets you buy these days. I think Gary's participation on FC has been mostly about educating people on his devices, but as the market expands and more people are buying these systems that have never heard of FC the docs become more of an issue. The push to date has been on engineering, getting the products designed and produced. As the business matures the docs will as well. This a specialty item in a tiny consumer niche, resources are tight getting off the ground, and some aspects got left behind.

I am sure this will rectified ASAP given all the feedback here, and Gary's t.rack record.

BTW I know I may come off as a fanboy, shill, or whatever, but I had been trying unsuccessfuly to stop combusting for 3 years and it was not until I got the Omi that I was successful, so I have developed some passion for this device and it's inventor.

And to those who claim he is just selling knockoff Chinese egigs I would like to see a link to one of Gary's carts proving that. The battery may not be anything special, but what you attach to it is the big deal. IMO.

Wow! I think you win!

You just got it, ran 3 grams through 2.4 Ohmers then switched to 1.5s? I'm impressed. I've also no doubt you fell in love. After vaping half that much it scares me who or what I might consider carnal knowledge with .......

Haha I just got my hvd, I've had the v2 for a few months, hence the 3gs through the 2.4s lol.
I did just modify a cart, shortened it up 5/8" and modded the mouthpiece too, its really small now! I'll try and put these pics up I just took, the cart wil only hold about .6 at most but its more than enough for the day. How do I post pics?

I agree, such things can always be better, but that doesn't mean it's sub-standard. Nor does that change the user's responsibility in the matter to know what's going on. As you said, the same is true for other gadgets in our lives. Toyota is not responsible to teaching me to drive or maintain the car I buy from them. I expect the dealer to be there for reasonable assistance, same as THC is here or the LHS is for those that buy there? I wish it was better, too. But I'm not sure how much longer I would be willing to wait for that, nor how much extra cost I'd be willing to pay personally....so I meet it with mixed emotions. It is what it is, and I'm glad it's in the market place.

Another thought on knockoff carts. Be advised there is a Pirate that pops up from time to time with clones and clones in 510 thread! Rumor is it's a contractor in China where copyrights (along with lots of other rights) are not always at the top of the list. A matter of betrayal IMO if true. I don't believe I've ever heard G or DubC comment on them, which I can understand and respect. But there's web links out there selling 'made in China' carts basically the same....including one with the other threads.

Thanks for that. I was sitting here wondering if I should send the guys from Guinness over to get you in the new book, or just cut the middleman and call the paramedics directly.....

I use Image Shack to post what few photos I do, recommended.

Wow I thought modding a cart would mess up the bridge or upper wire... pics would be great!

Just make sure when you cut the cart, that you dont cut too much off, I was about 1/8" from the top wire, if I did it again I'd go 1/2" instead of 5/8" I'll try and get some more pics of the inside of the cart cart.

I would love to see some photos. I have been wanting a shorter cart since G posted pictures of the Centauri (I think) with a short gold colored cart on it. I have been thinking that the short tube with a short cart and a vial of PG in there would be perfect on the go stealth tape for me.

I have a dremel and some cutting disks, so I might be able to follow in your footsteps.

Oops, I posted to quickly in all my excitement!

I agree, such things can always be better,

Substantively we agree (and that is a hard word to spell).

but that doesn't mean it's sub-standard.

Well I would rather not get into a discussion of documentation standards! Comparing the few other vapes I have purchased I would say W9Tech's docs are pretty standard (at least on the main Omi v2 kit). Compared to other products in other categories (mass market items) it falls short. I think a lot of companies these days rely too much on "the community" to supply needed customer guidance and scrimp on docs to save money. I do not think W9Tech is necessarily in that category, I think they are just suffering growing pains, and will rectify it.

Nor does that change the user's responsibility in the matter to know what's going on. As you said, the same is true for other gadgets in our lives. Toyota is not responsible to teaching me to drive or maintain the car I buy from them.

I'm not sure that is a good analogy. While what you say is true, my Prius did come with extensive user guides. Had that documentation not been sitting in the glove box when I needed to figure out how to turn off the reverse beeping (beeps INSIDE the car when in reverse which makes no sense) I would have been pretty irritated at having to call the dealer for that information.

I wish it was better, too. But I'm not sure how much longer I would be willing to wait for that, nor how much extra cost I'd be willing to pay personally

Hear, hear! Yes, I am impatient as well, and used to researching purchases and how to problem solve them. I love early adopting, and I am willing to take the cuts that come with being on the bleeding edge of technology.

I'm glad it's in the market place.

Amen to that brother!

Yeah, I guess I really meant a link which pre-dates Gary's release of the carts.

I had to put the bridge back in, after the cart was cut.... You have to cut the tube on both ends of it then ream the hole so it fits over the air tube, but still allows current to flow through it into the walls of the cart.
I got a small allen key and reamed the tip of the air tube after I had the bridge reinserted,
The bridge is attached to the air tube, not the cart, just an.fyi

i like this idea of shorter cart, and i think others would too. i think g is releasing shorty carts at some time and the nail cart should be too i guess

We are also working on doing click on/off feature, and also momentary like the original v2 button action.

All heads will be exchanged and you can keep the old hvd tops, but warranty will not be honored on them.

Also all heads will include a new tube, to make sure that the Logos line up.

Hi THC,

Apologies if this has already been covered, but I am a bit confused about how the heads will be exchanged. Do we need to submit a ticket for this? Is the exchange for a new different HVD top or for the new unregulated non HVD top? Been bed ridden past few days and I am just catching up on the thread.

Thanks for your time.
