So I got a shipping confirmation email this morning with a tracking number. I'm like a kid on Xmas eve so I click the UPS link to find out if I'll have it in time for fathers day. The link tells me that it was delivered yesterday and signed for by our receptionist!!

The weather has been really cool around So Cal these days and according to the forecast this weekend is going to especially cloudy.

Congrats! Although I think you should be looking at the "extended" forecast, don't you? :)

It just occurred to me that if all the remaining pre-orders are now about to be processed, and that number is in the hundreds as some of us have speculated, and we know that many will not have been following this thread (or the preceding) all that closely so there will be a multitude of questions and comments and complaints and . . . well, can we just imagine what this thread is going to become like in short order?

I thought of tossing in a few applicable smilies here, but realized that there would be just too many. The one that seems most fitting isn't in the list . . . the "fasten your seat belts". So I'll just settle for :o

Nice! I'm still waiting to hear back from Phil

Yeah, waiting to hear back as well.
My card hasn't been charged yet; I hope it gets processed and shipped out today.

[edit: I hope I filled out the forms correctly; The first time I didn't have any issues (that got refunded), but this time the "Ordered By Address Information" along with separate shipping and billing addresses was somewhat confusing.

WafflesVape,
Yea my card hasn't been charged either. It is on my account as a PENDING charge but nothing has been run yet?

hey im very interested in trying the VXC but more importantly i am trying to get a hold onto some ez-load bowls i know you can order some if you already have a VXC, which i dont so do you guys know of any way to go about getting some? Do you recommend i contact VXC and ask for a special order of only screens, or do u think they would even do that?

We'll be launching a separate website shortly where you can by Cloud accessories.

[edit: that was posted on May 31]
[@monacokid: I feel you, these are long threads :) probably just few short weeks until that site launches. They were sold out of extra ELBs when I ordered yesterday, but I see that they are back in stock now.]

a couple days ago I was hitting it and as I pulled the tube off (SGW) it started like a syphon action which let a small amount (the thing doesn't hold much in the first place, and it was a tiny fraction of the water) of water down the perc out the dewar joint and down into the VXC...

Ofcourse, steam and hiss but I immediately turned it off and dried up the small wet mess (most of the water had stayed in the ELB and soaked the herb). Turned it back on a few hours later and no problems. However....

I am an old vripmaster, and I know the tell tale signs and sounds of glass weakening, and the joint is getting a bit loose. When I look down the VXC I see all kinds of flaws in the glass I never saw before, and like I said the joint is starting to feel loose.

Anyway, filled out my warranty registration and I am trying to get this thing sorted PRIOR to it actually breaking. I am sure they are going to get me dialed in no problems...

Well it has been a few days I still have not heard from the VXC team about my warranty registration, or the email I sent to Phil...

Granted my unit is not actually broken, yet...but I am telling you the inner glass is going to fail at some point somewhere in the middle of the unit, and I would prefer to atleast get the problem on record before that actually happens.

I just warmed up my new baby and decided to video my first session with her for posterity. ;)
:peace:

edit: My ELBs all fit extremely tight in the male joint of the cloud. In all the videos I've seen it seems easy to put in and out and I see people just popping it in, and removing it with a fingernail. There is no way in hell I can do that with mine.

I was afraid of damaging the elb the first time I put it in because I had to push reaaaaly hard to get it to go down (seemed to get stuck about half way in). Removing the elb after was impossible to do with the unit on. I had to let it cool all the way down because it took so much manipulation with the (hot) joint in order to get it out.

Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Oldie did I miss the announcement the remaining preorders are all going to be processed soon? I don't think the threads going to blow up. I think many keep up on the thread here.

per the instructions leave the elb in the cloud overnite. It becomes "trained" and is very easy to pull out

Well, that's easy to do in theory.....but I wasn't gonna wait until tomorrow to fire it up. :D

I'll give it a try tonight... Thanks, jackstraw.

the point that I was trying to make was that it gets easier with use. I was using mine 10 min after the ups guy dropped it off. enjoy:)

Yeah the toughest part for me is getting the ELBs out of the glass as well. I guess I have some training to do.

Hey i've been lurking on these forums and reading updates for a long time now.
I've been waiting for the Vapexhale for a long time now (back in 2010 haha)

Now with the US models being rolled out it seems like it's going to be closer than ever until i get my own vapexhale! I was just wondering and sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone have any idea how soon it will be until an international version is released?

I apologize if this has already been asked but i have been reading these posts for a while and did do a search through them again to make sure and i couldn't really find much on the topic.

Perhaps stonemonkey might know?

Hoping to get my hands on this baby before the end of July but perhaps that is too optimistic.

Yes, the question re an international version has been posted quite a few times in recent weeks. The VXL folks have indicated that an international version is being worked on (in contrast to using an inverter) but AFAIK there is no availability date for it yet.
