sure thing G, that was my plan. I don't really have enough oil to fill them all right now. The taint is tolerable, so I will go ahead and use it anyway. I am still going to wait until tomorrow to fill it. I'll let ya know how it goes.
Yes we have fallen back a bit but tomorrow i am going to make a update and keep and announce Aprils winner.

thanks for the advice i got the multi colored aluminum ones...but they tend to warm up the lips...so i decided to get the delrin black mouthpieces...which i thought were so good i placed in a second delivery...

which...leads me to my next question... ive got an omicron v1 and i love it with the 1.5 carts...but here in the next week im going to get the persei (cant wait) but i need to know if the persei are compatible at 6v or do i have to go for the 7.4v?...are they both compatible? and which one would be most likely of an 1.5 cart on the omicron....anyone?
You can use the persei at 3.7v, 6.0v and 7.4v. But you would need 3.0v batteries.

Congrats! Opens up new doors, doesn't it? I wouldn't put too much stock in hit count just yet. Understand there's still over a third of the load trapped in there (typically about .2 grams). Your next half gram will give give closer to 80 or a bit more hits, still a bit under the 200 or more you'd expect from a gram of thicker oils. But understand that those (thicker oil hits) will have less oil per hit, and the THC concentration will be less per mg of oil, it could easily take you twice as many hits of the ticker oil.
Yes, it's more expensive, and leaks more, but IMO it belongs on everyone's trial list that has access. For myself I keep a loaded cart of it handy for 'special times'....which can be on you almost anytime if you look out for them.
As far as recommendations I suggest thicker (waxes over oils), CO2 (or N2 or similar) over BHO over ISO extractions, lighter color extracts over darker ones. Be willing to fiddle some, even the bad ones can be pretty good. I also pay attention to concentration, not only from a value standpoint, but the more THC in the extract the less other stuff there is to gum up the works (ultimately deposits seem to kill most carts).
Glad you finally took the plunge. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to just do something and see. Remember, we're not talking smoke here. Important concept. Vapor is entirely different, it's very hard to see. Guys control the lighting to make it look good. And many feel that the vapor belongs in you, not being blown around the room trying to show off. I suggest you meet it on it's terms not yours. Give it a chance, go with the effect not the visual or your expectations.
And be patient, it takes a bit to master it. Almost everyone sorts this out, stick with it.
Go, Jam, go! Glad you can choke it down, sorry it's not better. But it's a sin to throw it out at this point.
Your efforts here are definitely being watched carefully, blaze the trail deep, others will no doubt follow if you find anything even close to the promised land. Sharing your efforts here is definitely appreciated.

I have same problem with 2.4 and went to 1.2 and get good hits on two button push and draws. I find the 2.4 quits working well with more then .4 left in it. Or if battery not right off charger. I assume it is my oil as it not bought at disp.
Very happy with 1.2 but will see how much oil it leaves as i not able to deal with lose of oil... lol

50 hits is more than I get from 1/2g of PG. Try Earwax lasts longer but dosage is smaller. There is no free lunch. Earwax also has some smell to it.
and I call BS on OF's claim of 80 hits of a 1/2 gram refill. It's not gonna happen. Pure Gold is awesome because its Pure, It doesn't smell, it creates big clouds but it dissapears very very fast. 80 hits seems like a fantasy from my experience using 15+G of PG. Its easy to get a couple hundred pulls off wax.

Ok... decided to fill the 1.5 washed out cart late last night just before bed to see if I woke up to any leaks. No leaks... and the cart primed and fired up as usual. Now this is a 1.5 that have I only loaded .5 of qwiso in before the alcohol wash/reclaim process, so it saw very little use. It is behaving just like a new cart would. I wish I could comment on flavor, but my oil just doesn't taste very good, almost has a burnt taste, I assume it's the contamination of plant material that was in the original oil, because this stuff is dark as hell, and it tasted like this before I did the soak/reclaim. It still has potency, but the taste is not very good. I don't notice any alcohol residue, or any other strange flavors. All I taste is my crappy oil. I have 2 more washed carts (4.0) that I will test with some better oil. I just need to make more. Needless to say, so far it's looking good. No problems yet. I'll hit this thing throughout the day today and see if there are any changes.

Thanks for doing that Jam, as OF said many are interested. I always figured these could be cleaned "Carefully", because they get cleaned after production. BTW, I've had some success dissolving, winterizing and purging cart reclaim, but if carts have had plenty of use, the flavor is almost inevitable. I'm sure purity of meds also plays into this also, like you said. Once again, thanks so much for testing this out.

Your welcome, I want to add that although this worked just fine for me on the first try, this may not reflect in everyone's experience, if you try this. My cart was practically still new, maybe a dozen or so hits were taken from it before the soak/reclaim. If you try this with a well used cart, the results could be different, so please, keep that in mind if you do this reclaim method, try it at your own risk...

dude, you didn't have to be "in a special circle". you only had to check in once during the week this was going on. i personally told everyone to do this at least once a day during the special. and to be honest the retail for the hvd is worth it alone. for $70 you get a mini v2 as well as the ability to up your top to 7.4v. that's for almost half what a v2 costs. he said he wouldn't do any special favors on this deal as he has already been more than generous w/ the other upgrades and his accountant is harassing him. i can understand feelin' cheated 'cuz you weren't on the boards when this went down, but just 'cuz you miss a sale doesn't mean you got hustled. it just means other people made out. my two cents

Here's the point I'm trying to make and why I said you have to be in "the special circle of friends" to take advantage of discounts that people are un-aware of. I bought the Persei and V2 at NorCAL care. Nowhere does it say at that collective to register on this very board for updates, FAQ and to take advantage of special deals that may be going on. Another collective I frequent is Harborside SJ, another distributor of the Omicron, and nowhere does it say log on to FC for FAQ discount codes etc etc. Now were those collectives informed to tell their customers of Omicron/Persei to sign up on FC to take advantage of that kind of stuff......NO. Did "G" tell those collectives to inform the customers to register on FC to take advantage of stuff. NO. I asked before I posted here. When you buy an Omicron/Persei does it say anywhere on the box to register on FC to take advantege of that stuff......NO.....but it does have delta9vapes.com written on product for reference, and when you surf that page does it say to register on FC to take advantage of that stuff.....NO. Does it have the upgrade at regular price? YES. I can understand if this was a deal from a seller of the Omicron/Persei giving out discounts, but this deal came from the creator himself, and the only ones informed were people who are on FC. I know "G" can give 2 shits about what I'm saying here, he already has my money I spent on the Persei, Omicron V2, case, and $100 plus on carts. I know he won't even address me personally on it. Yes he said he won't do any special favors, but he actually did, you just have to be a part of FC. I just want im to know that there is many more like me that are out of his "circle" that don't know of special deals not unless you are on FC, which like I have said before makes no reference anywhere on his product to do so.

FC is a very valuable community full of people who went out on their own and googled "vaporizer forum" and decided that this was the one where they felt at home. G talks on here all the time and tries to help out members because we are just a big happy family, full of influential vaporists and newbies alike, and if you come to us without pretension or prejudice you will be welcomed into our family.
Not everyone is right for FC, and the fact that you took the initiative to find us should show that you have an inquisitive mind, not that someone told you to come here for deals...

I would be the one to "inform" clubs about FC but that is not my job. FC is a very popular forum as far as google searching goes, Google Omicron or Persei and see what pops up! Retailers sell items at retail. In no way did either collective you mentioned cheat you nor did G or Delta9.

Once again, JKA and Brother Bob have hit the nail squarely. It's seen differently from various sides no doubt about it. "Where's mine" is deep in modern culture, and not without reason. It's also worth note that the true value of the forum may well be information and opinions, not measured in dollars saved?
Finally, while I support G in whatever he decides to do with his money and company (within reason....) I'd like to remind one and all of the great truism:

Has anyone here tried Pure Gold in a 3ohm cart? Using my v1 I have had 2 carts (2.4 ohms) with pure gold leak due to me overheating the cart. I filled the new 2.4 cart that came with my v2 Omi with pure gold and so far no leaks after 4 days of use but I am really paranoid about holding the button too long now since it does not time out.
Perhaps the voltage limit on the current v2 top is actually helping me out here, but I have also been wondering for a while wether 3 ohm carts might be the answer for pure gold.

Yea it doesn't matter we are all apart of a community, and I feel like, ok that one guy got a discount, but you have to understand medical school is one of the hardest programs to get though and people who work hard deserve it. I feel like any product I buy should have good customer feedback and g and all the members of the Fourm show this. Seriously this Fourm has been so helpful. And anyone who missed the discount I have no sympathy because this was clearly stated on fc and the delta 9 newsfeed emails
