yea, i had to add a little to mine for youtube. back to ur cart, there really aren't any pros. we have no idea what this cart is or how it operates. you and Xchadb seem to be the only ones with them so.... bubble won't work in an omi cart, so if they say it will work in their's then...... i don't know, not enough data

O.K. 1 Gram of hash oil took a long time to load, but vapes really smooth and no problems. They say to heat the cart up on the unit first, and it got really hot. I heated the hash oil under hot water and just poured it in. I had to use a lighter to heat the very top, but it ran down and it rocks. Should i try and keep count of how many hits i get out of a gram, wait i cant even remember my home phone #.


EDIT: Little leak at bottom of cart. to connection, Hash oil is a little thin for this. try the wax on the next one.

ok, this is just like an omi, so why would you try putting anything in it besides full to super melts? if you wana use bubble just go get the correct vape for doing that... besides wax is almost the same price as bubble nowadays anyway at least in my town.

yes, i was refering to the GV cart, was not soldered, gonna be doing a breakdown ill shoot a vid of the parts for u guys to decide, need to reclaim first.


BTW it weighs a little less than an omi cart...

when i did get it to hit, just wasnt producing that much but the cart was getting pretty hot. I planned on cranking it to 6v and just making this thing my bitch bong cartridge and stress test it to see how long itd last since its free and came broken to my house.

i really WANT these fuckng carts to work as good as omicrons but they just arent! not having to use an adapter would be nice for people that would like to use thier fav VV mod.

ive been looking at all the dfferent mods and been considering the lavatube. as well as a Black Beauty and a few others. the Black Beauty is a very small unit that can run 2 x 3.2V or 3.7V cells but does not have a temp readout.

Now, if u still want to help, should I use a new cart for the wax or put it in with the oil? Seems to work ok with the oil, just have to prime it for about 15 seconds. I thought bubble was a cold water hash...I tried hash oil that I think was butane extraction.

I love this fuckn thing man! so cheap and so powerfull and small! this thing cranks to 6v on one little battery, good battery life too! readout displays voltage, press power 7 times and it tells you how much juice is left

if you used anything besides a full or super melt, just throw away or clean that cart very good. I dont prefer mixing diff kinds into one cart, it starts to just get well....too potent, not really an enjoyable high i feel. 15 second prime? wtf dude. buy some REAL omi carts, PLEASE. they just work better, switch on and commence vaping!

Damn it...One gram of wax in the other cart and now it wont heat up on the DA. It was heating fine while i was filling it, Firing it at 3.7 and it was heating nice. Just tried to put the one with the oil on it and it will not heat up. Two dead carts with a gram in each? I was hitting the Hash oil all day on Sunday with no problem. It is dropping volts on its own i think. It will go from purple #2 setting down to red #1 setting. Any ideas? I dont have another PV, just little 808's and no adapter.

I got an adapter from mephisto - I bought a HI off him (Thanks dude! I'm going to send you an email soon).

One thing - this adapter didn't fit at all. I didn't even want to fuck with it...I wonder where you got it from?

So, I am confirming the adapter the I got from GV (one of the first orders) - works well , although somewhat wonky, with Omicron carts.

I recall others saying the unit changes voltage on it's own sometimes. That would freak me out.

Two dead carts in a row? Possible, but highly unlikely. What do you think the chance are that 'self changing' power supply is knocking them off? I don't recall guys using other power supplies reporting this???

I'm sorry, I'm not an e-cig type so can't help you there. The problem is the two jobs are much different, really. I'd suggest a dual tool attack. Say a MFLB and a separate e-cig? That's the only way I see to get it under two bills.

Man i really want this DA to work...I was so close to getting the Thermo Vape today. With the adapter and atomizer its just too much money. I think the problem with my DA is, i sat on it a couple of weeks ago and it bent around the connection. Still vapes fine with a dual coil tank on it or a single cartomizer 100% of the time. When i put on the Honey oil carts it only fires up 50% of the time. When the Wax or the Oil get going it is GREAT, but not very "low key" when you have to F with it for 10 minutes. So, could be a good product and i just broke mine or...Still half the price of a Thermo Vape.

I just picked up the ambassador kit this weekend with a sour diesel widow maker. Was very unhappy with the widow maker since my girlfriend sad she felt nothing after multiple puffs and she is a light weight. The pen it self seems okay besides I don't even know what the addaptor they gave me is for( onicron or do I need to order that one)? I wish I saw this site before buying it or I think I would have gone with the omnicron. Should I get the oil cartridge from gv or omnicron?

Welcome, Sparky420. I made the mistake of buying these cartidges as well. I, too could not get properly medicated after several attempts, so I gave up. I did successfully use the pen with a 510/610 adapter (the one I got from GV didn't work, so I bought a good one online) with some Omicron cartridges. If I had to do it all over again, I would just go with the Omicron and save the headaches.

i dont think comparing the DA to a TV unit is comparing apples to apples. the DA is more like a Omicron V1 battery... or eGo battery where the handle is the battery itself. the Detonator is more like the TV devices as you can use different battery set ups in it.

i really like my Detonator. all except for the position of the switch and cart connection are too close for some carts. in this case you have to run an extension. im currently running an LV Evolution on my Detonator device with a AW 17670 cell to push it. its working wonderfully.

This is kinda spooky. The protection circuits aren't protecting. The power demands are high, but basically the same as the 1.5 Ohm carts these guys are supposed to drive. I suspect it's the long heating times we're demanding (heat) rather than demand for power at any one instant? Bottom line is these units aren't up to the job. And it seems fatal in at least some cases. I suspect we'll be seeing more of this as we explore mixing vape parts for our personal needs.

I saw that one the other day, looked pretty straight forward to me, simple and easy to deal with and hopefully low loss. I hope the switches are up to the heavy duty they're going to see. But if the switch does fail, looks like the PCB assembly swap would put it right in a few minutes? Cool.

No surprise it's working wonderfully, that's the same basic configuration the unit was designed for, right? Hard to beat it for being reliable.

from my understanding they are designed to be used with many battery configurations. but i figured since TV was suggests using them with their LV Evos i thought i pick a couple up. but now it seems that the 18650 will be an even better choice. im pretty sure an 18650 will fit the Detonator so ill probably get 1 or 2.

anyway here is a pic of my Detonator with Dart coupled to a tube. i loaded a large dab and got 3 giant rips. sorry i dont have any video... my camera is being barrowed...

using the Detonator with my Reg Dart (2 x RCR123a) and an LV Evo (17670) and loving it for both. it seems to be extremely reliable as OF states, but it can get quite hot when using the button for longer periods of time like with the Evos. im wondering if there is some sort of coating or insulation i could use on the outside of it to reduce the heat.

I saw a carbon fiber-type heat absorbing/cooling thing on ebay. It was a sticker for phones, so the battery cools down fast. I'll try to find it for you
