Actually it's only logical.
Using IH design it's possible to include water right into the inlet path, prior to the heater stage... The specific heat capacity of dry air alone is nearly unity, steam @ 100 degrees Celcius doubles that. Hence it's reasonable to assume that Hot Dry Air mixed with super-hot H
2O will result in a "Release/Transport Agent" with boosted heat capacity: it's "potentialized", which actually opens the door to alternative consumption methods and rituals based on "Micro-Bursting", thanks to "Packetizing" (another original story...) - all terms had to be invented because it's still some pioneer's niche, essentially.
Personally i have no difficulty to imagine pre-heating my pipe with an IH driver, then finish it using my torch to provide a tiny bit of "Self-Moisturization". In any case, no doubt both modes would offer appreciable nuances.
