No orbiter with wooden or TI MP !?!

Boy that does suck.
I dont want silcone or plastic in my vaporpath.
grrr.

a male 14 to 14female adapter could work but ruin the simple aesthetic

Mr.Sifter,

You can try using the FMP

zUJ8ij9.jpg
I swore off the FMPs. First time I tried pairing my woody with water I used the FMP and left it overnite over the MP. Next day I couldn't get the FMP off the wenge MP and finally when it came off it came off with a piece of the wood. George, gentleman that he is, reached out to me and sent me some replacements. If I ever use the FMP now it'll be with the head cut off for easy removal.

so, what is this, something Dynavap is offering themselves or a third party? It being a Google doc instead of something official, and the asking of such personal information makes me paranoid haha

@mephisto Many thanks brother. The Portside arrived today safe and sound. It took me a while to figure out the right 4 screws, but once I did the battery installation and initial use was quite easy.

@Pipes You are a wizard. Kudos!

Now...where did that to-do list go?

EDIT: 15 minutes later I've had two .025 chambers from my CF Omni XL and working on my first .025 chamber on my Omnivong Anhydrously through my WP.

As far as I am concerned this device eliminates, or should eliminate, any doubts or questions anyone might have about investing in a collection of these devices. If you don't like the idea of butane-no worries-here you go.

Given the wonderful odor this device creates it will never be totally stealthy, but to be able to just dip your wand into that little glass tube, wait for the click, count to three and....what was I saying. I was shocked at how small the Portside is. For my uses, it's as portable as I need, and will go with me whenever I take my Vapcaps. Up to and including camping.

@cannabis.pro might you make a case that would make the Portside waterproofed whilst out in the backcountry, or on the water? Hmmmm. My mind is ablaze, or maybe I should say avape

Fuck the to-do-list. I'm to-done.

Except for this. ATTENTION VAPCAPPERS: I just sent in my application to be part of the Vapcap Development Club. You can too. Here's the link and information on the deadlines.

question about the IH

do you have to physically press down some kind of resistance inside the IH ?

Yes, thats clever.

I meant how "hard" the resistance (the spring) is you have to press down till you hear the click.

you adjust the temps by heating past the click, right?
or can you position the cap in different manners?
dont think so, because the cap is clicking/pressing the resistance spring down, so it stays in permanent position.

mmh

offtopic P.S.
a nonavong has 3 big and 6 smaller notches :science:

The switch resistance is slight. The easier the better, as too much pressure could cause the edge of the tip to slip past the crimp and make the cap a little harder to get off with the magnet. I have had this happen if I dropped a VC with the cap down. NBD, but it CAN happen.

@Mr.Sifter Not hard. The weight of your arm is probably sufficient; drop the tip in with a light grip, relax your arm from the shoulder and let gravity take over. I have tendonitis in both hands-the IH is a godsend to me.

I was doing okay with the torches, but this is really 'it' for me. I just finished two chambers on my Omnivong with the screen at .025 setting and got three enormous pulls. I usually only got two with a torch and if I got a third it was wispy. These were three enormous clouds; in two sessions each about 45 minutes apart.

Hard on Glass
I was watching the livestream and couldn't believe it, George was addressing so many issues (EU times, IH..)...
I'm sure he reads this thread now and then ahah

So...on the very off chance that he reads this comment, this is what i NEED and dream about:

Induction Heater, powered by 18650 batteries (or similar), housed in a wooden container (please some technical wiz make it all fit a case identical to dynastash...just grab my 2 'stashes' and i'm off!)

:D

Something about 18650 don’t quite have the Amps besides
their gravity will add up with multiple cells.

Li Polymer packs a wallop for its size.

Right now, Pipes mini is leading the IH Olympics.

you are a man of taste.

I think the first DVIH will be more the "home-unit" kind.
Maybe metal-mug, wooden lid style. different woods. power cord supply (18650 would be nice)

and maaaaaybeeee when things go well (and they will) there is potential for a mobile18650 dynastash formed version.

just out of curiosity what's the price for portside (mini) ?
I like the powerswitch on this.
what does this metal thing below it do ?
power, induction hole, magnet, ... and the other thing ?

@stark1
and how the fcuk do you keep this bubbler clean ?

this looks like a tidy, relaxed, peaceful place
