The VAS hit me strong of late. And it hasn't let go. It was another good day at the maibox.
That's a custom omnivap that I really like and a cocobolo nonavong both of which I picked up from @vapen00b in the classifieds.
I've found some of my favorite pieces in the classifieds. Then there is the cocobolo double garage stasher and a burl stasher that may be my favorite.
It's light and soft. They arrived from DV today.

Here's the array for this evening:

A closeup of the new omni and burl stasher. They go well together.

I posted a long winded bit of spiel in my thread so I'll keep it short here.

The VC community never ceases to amaze me and I thank all of you for making it what it is, I've had the best end to a week any one could ask.
The VC vibe seems to be rubbing off on the non MJ users as well.

If you think George looked excited at the end of his live feed wait until you see the big grin I'll have in the next few weeks.

Oh, of course sorry I live in the UK where my way of life is frowned upon so you may not get to see it.
May have to break out the snout:rofl:

And as @ArthurJ beat me to it a bit more wood porn on a Friday.

Have a great weekend folks.

Hi. Just wanted to say the omni condenser has really improved my vapcap results. I original bought it because it makes cleaning easier for me( fixed orings). I have since found that I get better vapor extraction and longer hits. I can't get the same results with my uni.

I think for me the omni condenser completely changed the dynavap experience .

Sometimes I have missed the click like a deaf old person. I have accidentally discovered something that helps me not miss that click. That something is a triple or quad torch. I found that when the click happens quicker reduces the chance that I will miss hearing it. I seem to never miss it now.

:myday:

I've been flirting with fire lately, well technically not fire, but combustion.

I rip a chunk off a nug and load it up, and use my IH heater. But after the first click, I take a hit and reheat quickly not waiting for a cooling click. But just for a couple seconds. Then just keep heating and hitting until its done. Kind of like roasting the bud. So far so good with 62% humidity buds. Not sure it would work on dry buds. Bored I guess, lol.

Welcome back on board.
The big news is the IH straight from dynavap.
Other than that the vapcap is still great.
You missed not so much.
Thursday 6pm central is flashsale time for 12h.
Code will be displayed here in this thread and in the dynafeed live youtube broadcast.
Vcdc signup form is a few pages behind this post.

I am in love with my @Pipes Portside. This little guy is my new best friend and will go everywhere with me. Thanks again @mephisto

I love the quiet. I really don't miss the piezo click and hiss-nor do my cats. My hands, which are a problem for me, are even happier. And the extraction is really impressive. Better than with a torch IME. I've only been using DV for about 90 days, so I'm sure others here with more experience have better lighter technique than I, but I don't suck either. I've only ashed once and only charred a handful of times over 100's of tips using flame, and gotten lovely, even dark roast ABV. And I pushed hard.

I'm getting the same color ABV from the IH, but more draws per tip than I'm used to getting with flame; 4 w/the IH instead of 2-3 with flame. I'm going to a count of 3 past the click on the first draw and a count of two on all others.

Truly a game changer for me. I cannot wait to see what DV comes up with for their in-house unit(s).

Hello Vapcappers !
I'm a newbie with the VC but find it so interesting. I'd like to thank you all the active members for your advices and especially @Squiby !:clap:
I'd like to try the hemp fiber in my VapCap but not sure it will convince me. So, is there anybody as kind to send me just a tiny sample of degummed hemp fiber to test the sandwich method described earlier ? I would really appreciate to figure how this work before buying some.

Thank you for reading my faulty english ;)

Got some spare EUR 5.-? Much hassle for bystanders given that it is really not very expensive...

But if you are on a real small budget, then provide me with your address and I will see what I can do next week! :)

Having been a smoker for 30 years I find the weight and feel of a torch very natural to me which is why I never had any interest in the induction heater. Nevertheless I can't help but feel curious why so many prefer using it to a torch? Is there something I am missing and should be aware of?
