An all quartz atomizer. I can't wait to see what this thing can do. Hoping there will be other colors available, but the more I look at it, the more it grows on me.

Gen 2 needs a zirconia housing and it will be on point!
This will allow the oven to do its thing without the body and mouthpiece ever becoming uncomfortably hot, that way we can ditch that silicone tip! It's a killer little vape but it could be GREAT.

Zirconia is cool stuff for sure (extremely dense, hard ceramic) but it's not magic. It was used extensively in the TB Cera and very definitely gets hot in use. 15 or more minutes and you're hanging onto the bottom end, inches away from the oven. Or else. It takes longer than otherwise (it's an excellent insulator) but that also means it also takes longer to cool....... No free lunches that way.

If you want a cool MP you'll need to do more than tweak the material. All that offers is a shift in time frame?

I don't think it's magic, but I do think it's a good solution for these parts, especially in an on demand design like the gen 2. A shift in time frame would serve as a proper solution for the way most use this vape I'm betting. I find the vapor performance drops off as soon as you let off the fire button with the Gen 2, so I would be interested in hearing how people are managing long sessions if they are doing them. Seems like it would get exhausting with the short cutoff times.

Disappointed to see there is still no wpa for the Gen2 dry herb atty but, in another hand it is not very used lately.... But I ever dreams to connect it to a water tool, any setup I tried was satisfying enough.

Can't wait for the Quartz quest!

It might, but experience with just this (heat transfer through Zinconia insulation) didn't work all that well where the ceramic layer was much thicker and the heat had to 'climb' through an inch or so 'up' and through a layer almost half an inch thick. It too needed a silicone cover for multi hit use.

Worth a try, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it. Doing concentrates (the EO cart) there are no real problems since time is so short, but with herbs it is an issue even with a single user usually. I doubt it would be much different here.

Fun stuff, regards to all.

What material would you use to improve the user friendliness of the Gen 2?

So @Vape Donkey 650 is the official beta tester from @divinetribe ...!? :brow:

I didn't say that :) I'll let Matt and @VapeDonkey650 speak for themselves.
They have worked together on some stuff (is that still on deck guys?).

Good timing, I'll roll in parts for my v3's with a couple new goodies :)
Order comin' up Matt!

Man I can't wait for this. The last few months I pretty much stopped using all my pens and went back to a torched quartz banger because of the ability to swab after use for a fresh hit, so I'm really looking forward to putting this under the gauntlet against my e-nail and quartz nails.

This is why the top airflow sai recently became my goto device and the one I shared the most. I was able to swab clean after every session. Even though I didn't want to go back to dabbing off titanium (their quartz offering sucked), it grew on me because it was easy to load and clean. But then the donut under the cup cracked...probably because I tried to rush it back to use after an ISO cleaning (didn't let it dry completely I think). So no replacements as of now, or I can try replacing just the donut from a previous coil.

Can't wait for the quartz quest. I want to order now so it ships to me as soon as it gets in the door! Doesn't look like it'd be inconspicuous like some of the attys I currently run in public (that end up looking like regular tobacco vape mods), but the performance looks like it will be the best out there for a portable dab device!

The metal mouthpiece will be more discrete, Matt said he's anticipating around February for that part. This vape has always been designed with the idea of offering both glass and metal mouthpieces. Would be sweet if the metal MP was titanium to keep everything nice and light.

I live in SoCal so the stock MP will be plenty discrete for me. I was at a crowded lake yesterday firing up torch dabs on a 10 ft fishing boat lol. :D

Yeah I have mostly gone back to a quartz banger and torch over my Wax Pens. Since VapCap's are fashionable I figured torches were making a comeback!

I want an e-nail, but I travel pretty constantly for work so having one set up in a hotel room or AirBnb isn't super feasible.

I really really hope the Quest will be as good as a Quartz banger and torch.
