It's a fun option for sure.
I can't stop turning budettes into rosin and then vaping it in the vapcap. It's much more pleasurable this way than with my other vapes. The thing is, it's so fun to use it, I want to keep going. And going. For me the bowl is big. So, vaping the rosin chips in the vapcap gives me a great stony kind of high. The buds I have that are too dry, I just mix in with the ground up rosin chips. What can I say? I like salads. I enjoy mixing varieties.
So here's a silly one. Vaporize a some ground rosin chip with some of the rosin added back in. It tastes different than whole flower, and the effect is different. Blah blah blah, that's not strictly vapcap talk, Diggy! Diggy Diggy PLEASE! Stay on topic.
I have decided I like The M more than my gen 4 tiwoody. It shouldn't be that way, since the woody cost more. But there you have it. I haven't tried their new wooden bodies that they manufacture in house, though. I assume they have gotten better.

OK, gonna bump this up again:
The click patterns change overtime in terms of loudness, sometimes only 1 & not 2 clicks, length of time between the 2 cool-down clicks. Whenever the clicks seem off, I just hold the digger & give it a vigorous shake to see if I can re-position the 2 bi-metal discs residing in the top of the cap. You can also try lightly, rhythmically tapping the side of the cap against a hard surface.
@ataxian, instead of a lighter &, as you don't have an induction heater yet, check out these vids. If you do try it, let us know how it works for you. If you need extra height, you can extend the mp by adding on the fat mp if you bought one or even a piece of silicone tubing.

@ ataxian - I owned an Arizer Solo for 3 years and I love it but..... since trying the Omnivap I have left my old love in its box.
Pound for pound the vapcap is the most powerful vape in my opinion.
1 Arizer stem = 3 vapcap bowls.
1 vapcap bowl is more powerful than 1 Arizer bowl - so strong!!!!

We/I have been looking for alternative ways to vaporize with our VapCaps.
Butane is fine, altho bit of a hazard for spastics like myself.
Induction heaters have paved the way for that alternative. So magical.
As yet still bulky.
I love the heft of a VapCap. So tiny, so powerful!
Recent! developments have been coiled RDAs, another alternative. They do work, but are prone to shorts,
and are unaesthetic, to me.
While playing with RDAs, I stumbled across another viable possibility this past week.
CRA.
What is a CRA. It is a Ceramic Rebuildable Atomizer.
@ 40Watts it takes about 6-7 seconds for the first click from my VapCap;
@ 50Watts, slightly shorter.
@ 75Watts, shorter still.
A snap!
(altho with higher Wattages, the ceramic element finite lifetime will be inversely shortened...)
It looks promising, however. —And PP, wind proof!
(@kuzko, the only tip with a left spiral, Gen 3.)

On the list for the new/old 7 fin Ti tip. Can anyone tell me what generation tip this one is? I believe it’s titanium and it’s 7 fin with the spirals going right.

My opinion has no importance.
I like the VAP CAP "M" however it fit's in my rotation.

Awesome, glad your digging it. The vapcap goes perfect with your Solo, Nano and Evo. That's a solid lineup.
In Dynavap news, just checked and the site is loaded with new Stashs including Double garages, XL ER's and BURL!

I wanted to test the Ti TIp V5 and ordered it from the Vaposhop. The delivery took longer than usual. A week ago I received the TI tip. Unfortunately, the Tip is not neatly processed, so the cap doesn't fit properly. Not enough material seems to have been removed from the first fin. I've been waiting for a reaction from the Vaposhop for a week now. They'll probably have a lot of orders by now (Christmas).
I want to try this thing out. Am I trying to fix it myself? And if so, does anyone have an idea how? I'm a little scared it won't look good later.
Or am I still practicing patience?
Ps.: This shouldn't be a criticism of the Vaposhop, it's just because of the season. It's a great shop!

You can try and fix it yourself.
I can describe to you how,but I as a disclaimer ,it won;t be my fault if you mess things up.
You will need an ordinary electric drill ,paper or electrical tape ,a plastic card
and a fine sandpaper ( 600-2000 grit)
1 ) Wrap with paper tape the outside of the chamber.
Do 3 to 4 wraps.Try for the tape to be tight enough ,so the tip won't lose it's roundness.
2 ) Install the taped chamber tip at the drill chuck and tight.DO NOT OVERTIGHT the chuck,
as this may deform the tip's chamber ,into an oval .
3 ) Fold a piece of sandpaper around the plastic card.Tightly.
4) Wet the card /sandpaper combo.
5) Hold the drill with your left hand ,at your lap and start turning the tip,at LOWEST SPEED possible.
6 ) With the edge of the card/sandpaper combo at your right hand ,touch lightly the problematic fin.
Carefully .
Increase the pressure gradually.Stop after 15-20 secs of "grinding" .Test the cap.
If it fit's you 're good to go.If ,not repeat step 6 ) ,until cap fits .

Unless you know what you are doing, don't touch the tip, give them a call, they will replace it for you.
They replaced two dead Grasshoppers for me without questions, i doubt they would give you problems for a tip.
On a related note, the replacement gen 5 tip i bought for my M also turned up with a lot of burrs everywhere on the edges... It was a quick fix with a small file, but not super impressive from Dynavap.

I have a Lotus that I loved too. I no longer use it because I think that the Vapcap is superior, but I won't part with it just the same.
There are several differences between the Lotus and the Vapcap.
- the Lotus must be heated with a single jet lighter while the Vapcap can be heated with just about any heat source.
- The Lotus has a deeperr learning curve and has no temperature indicator while the Vapcap clicks when it comes to temperature.
- The Lotus resembles a pipe experience while the Vapcap is more of a joint or cigarette experience.
- The Lotus, while quite small is many times larger and bulkier than the very portable, streamlined Vapcap.
- The Lotus requires that you heat while toking, contrasting with the Vapcap that you heat THEN toke.
The Vapcap is more portable, versatile, easier to heat and doesn't need fire held close to your face.
I don't know that I would put the x-ring in direct contact with the end of the tip. It's not necessary and you can easily push it a bit further up the condenser. Having an x-ring in this position, between the tip and the air intake, blocks the airflow and allows for wonderful billowous mouthpulls and is gentler on the lungs.
The standard and XL condensers can be used with any VC tip and cap. The condenser determines the length of your Vapcap.
If you use a regular condenser the overall length of your assembled VC will be 3.5 inches long.
If you use an XL condenser the overall length of your assembled VC will be 4.25 inches long.
The standard condenser accommodates a 62mm configuration so you can set up your VC with;
- a 45mm body or VonG along with a 17mm spinning mouthpiece. 45 +17 = 62
- or just a 62mm stem or VonG.
The XL condenser is longer and accommodates a 79mm configuration, so you can have a VC with;
- a 62mm stem or VonG and a 17mm spinning mouthpiece. 62 + 17 = 79
- or a custom 79mm stem or VonG.
The VC is modular and mix and match is the name of the game and part of its wonderful magical appeal.
Two things can affect the mp moving freely; at tight mp or restrictive x-rings.
Temperature and humidity can affect wood and when it gets wet, it swells. Take off the x-rings and slide your mp onto the condenser. If it a snug tight fit, you can loosen it up by rolling up a bit of sandpaper and passing it through the mp a few times.
If the mp spins freely on the bare condenser, then adjusting the x-rings is in order. Assemble the mp with x-rings on the condenser and the place your fingernail between the x-ring and mp to bring the ring slightly away from the mp. The mp should now spin freely.
I like to double up two x-rings placed inside the midsection, just slightly away from the mp. This helps to firm up the assembled unit a bit on some bodies/stems.
I find Harlequin to be a nice daytime high CBD strain. It leaves you functional with a relaxed sustained energy. It is one of my all time favorites.

I have had that thought also. The coil would last a long time, the cap would only come in contact with ceramic. The divine crossing dry herb atty would be perfect if it were just a bit bigger...I think whoever manages to produce a quality 510 heater for the dynavap line is going to sell a heaping shit ton of them.

Thought about this too but won't fit unfortunately.
This is the exact model I was contemplating modifying for Vapcap usage.
I think the proper coil could be found off the shelf, I would just need to do a custom housing to tidy it up.
