Don't know if anyone is picking up any CFV s for holiday presents.

Puffitup (one of our sponsors) has the flowermate Swiftpro for 35% off ($142)

For those who pre-ordered the CFV something to think about...

If someone bought a 35% off Swiftpro and a CFC POTV intro for $72 they got the same vapes as the CFV pre-order for $5 less.

Just something to chew on when you can no longer chew on Turkey.
Price u pay to be first. I love my cfv and am grateful to get the cfc. Also got a shirt and wpa along with a new mp since the first was leaky. Wouldn't have wanted the swift pro.. looks too much like a toy. I consider it the Barney version if convection Vapes lol ... And how could I get sick of turkey?! Lmaollove thanksgiving!

Happy turkey day to my fellow combustion fuckers

Hi Everyone

I just received the new mouthpiece for my CFV and I had a question.

I put the new mp on and when I cover the intake on the bottom of the CFV I can still draw air through the device. Is this normal?

If i remove the mp and cover the intake on it, I can't draw any air through.

Thanks in advance for any advise or help

comtemplating grabbing a black cfv.
From my understanding these units are 100% convection if used with wood rings. Has anyone experienced vapor escaping through the mouth piece between hits?
I want to get something that my friends can use..instead of my milaana and esv.

In my SwiftPro I really need to pull the vapor out, so nope nothing is escaping between hits. EDIT: or well, there's a wisp of residual vapor still in the mouthpiece, but it's not building up like with conduction vapes.

I'm using it with the glass ring (or is that quartz?) and the bowl is only hot at the end of a session, but not burning hot. Conduction is minimal at most.

On the other hand the mouthpiece metal part with the screen can get really hot. The whole mouthpiece seems to be effectively removing a lot of heat from the vapor stream.

not going to lie 35% off is very attractive..only thing keeping my eyes on the cfv is the fact it has a micro usb..meaning i can charge it via xbox.

Swift pro vs. CfV. Same vape, same price, different design. Who wins? Black friday VAS.
Thoughts?

Thanks

Chose the one you find the prettiest.

FIY the SwiftPro has the same kind of velvety/rubbery coating as the black version of the Ascent, don't know about the CFV.

I don't think it looks like a toy or low quality like someone else said. Build quality is pretty good. It feels nice in the hand and its low weight makes you forget it's in your pocket during transport.

PS: you made me grab my device, now I have to use it! :sherlock:

Barney vape is what I said
And I guess the black isn't toy looking but the green reminds me of a N64 controller

I'm so upset right now.
Less than a week having my cfv and I got a broken mouthpiece. The piece that u push to lock it into place (the bottom section) has a crack in it. So now my mp doesn't lock, moves around and leaks air. I'm so upset this has happened.
I emailed the shop I got it from and they said the mp isn't covered by warranty.
So I've email boundless direct. I now wait a reply......
I noticed that they haven't got a cfv mp on their website. I really hope they can help me out.
And I'm all the way in the UK.
Damn I'm pissed. I hope I haven't put money down the drain...
I was really liking this vape. The pure taste of the herb.

I'm sure Eric would sort you out with a replacement, the CS with Boundless is very good. As for the mouthpieces not being on site, not much is currently listed as they were supposed to be migrating to another webpage. Do you have a WPA you can use with it instead until you get it sorted?

Thanks for ur reply. I hope they do sort it out. When mouthpieces are available I'll be sure to grab a few.
As for having a wpa it's ironic how it all happened....
I literally just ordered the wpa and turned on the cfv for a sessh when I noticed the mp crack. So timing was perfect.
If I knew how to post pics I would show u guys exactly what happened.
Hopefully the wpa will turn up tomorrow. I have an eq cyclone bowl (18mm f2f) and a lsv transfer wand so hopefully I can use that.
From what I've learned the wpa is universal fitting 14 and 18mm both male and female. Is that right? So I should be able to use the lsv transfer wand directly with the wpa?

The WPA will fit a standard 14/18/22 both male and female :) I've even seen Boundless using some whip tubing in the WPA hole.

Thank you very much. I think I can rest my head a little now.
I think I'm gonna try out the whip when I get my wpa just it compare it to my ssv.
More testing......
Testing is fun!

In a strange twist of fate, I (finally) got my replacement CFV mouthpiece by mail today. It's Thanksgiving in the states, so dont expect to hear from Eric until Monday, but i'm sure he'll get one posted out to you. Like @Cl4ud3 was saying, you can use the WPA as a mouthpiece, either natively if you want (I did that for a few days), or with any glass that fits or a whip. You'll definitely be back in business until a new mouthpiece gets across the pond.

No thoughts?

Ill give Boundless a shout. I thought if the air pathway was isolated, I wouldn't be able to pull air in.

I just did a side by side test for airflow with the CFX which we know from the teardowns has a fully isolated airpath and the CFV. In both cases if I hold my finger over the intake, I can still inhale somewhat. I dont think I can create a solid enough seal with a fingertip no matter how heavily I press to block it fully.

I do know that with the updated mouthpiece (which every retail purchaser already has), the connection is solid and you get really good vapor. Any extra airflow I think is coming through the mouthpiece itself, not the unit internals, but i'm not a scientist or anything..

Got my CFV in the mail this week but can't use it for a few days yet - curious if anyone is microdosing with it and if so how you draw? I've seen that the recommended standard pull is 10-12 strong seconds - do you get much out of it doing half that or do you need the longer pull to get any vapor at all?

1 day left to decide. i'm still torn between the two. i think the cfv looks nicer than the swift pro but the tiny savings on the SP is a savings none the less

If you buy either the CFV or Swiftpro from puffitup you know you will be okay if you get a bad unit or need a warranty repair.

Where I see the difference is that the Boundless guys are committed to their vapes. If there are "upgrades" or mods I think the Boundless crew will be more innovative and more committed to the success of their vapes.

Whether it is vapes, cars or electronics companies can only support a limited number of products successfully, I believe that there is a more promising future for convection vapes from Boundless.

Your $ your choice.

The vendor I bought my CFV from stated that when he was testing the swift pro it had easier draw than CFV
