Well, my HGL remains at my bedside - and I continue to use it without a VVPS - I love that there's no faff with it. I also still admire it daily. It really is quite beautiful. Feeling kinda privileged to be part of the HGL club. Loving the ideas for the cordless log!!

:) :peace: :leaf: :peace: :)

Hi everyone been very busy lately and have some nice bits here but i cannot find my camera charger atm to post some pics, will get them up soon as , i have quite a few orders not just from this forum but friends etc and also repeat orders from people, i really think i would only sell a few lol....

more glass turned up today so a few kits can be posted tomorrow (yew's) , and i am also saying to everybody interested in a log that i am highly recommending the dimmer as the logs run hot as standard and the new modules i sell are working very well and are £29 extra on the log kit..

Be patient and new pics and videos will be up soon .....

take it easy

Today is a special day for me, because i received my yew HGL ;pd;!

I'm like a child because it's my first log and now i'm a member of the HGL tribe.

Nick, what a great work! Very good finishes!

I tried it with 2 bowls for the moment.

With and without the waterpipe the flavors are incredibly returned.

The density and intensity of the vapor is really high i'm so impressed.

With one 0.05-0.1 bowl i can take 6 big milky clouds .

It will become my daily vaporizer now, he has already find its place.

Once again many thanks to you Nick,

You did a really good job , i did not expect something better.

So glad you like the log i did not want to turn yours down anymore and loose that two tone finish , looking forward to seeing what aftermarket glass you come up with :D

Finished a few all wood cocobolo stems today and i have a coco wood and glass gwong i am testing atm very pleased with it glass slides off wood for easier screen changes and cleaning and now i can use the thick gongs in a 14mm.

Should get the next 12 log cores finished tomorrow and a load of dimmers in the new transparent blue enclosures to match the knob and now the power LED can be seen too.

Still have not sorted my camera, pics will have to wait for now as i am trying to get some more logs out which i am sure no one will mind for now............

Take it easy

Mine came a few days ago as well, really pleased with it.

Few pictures including E-Nano for scale:

Really thick flavourful hits as you'd expect from a log. I've just had my first accidental combustion running at about 11pm on the dial, gets real toasty need to keep high airflow up... 9 seems comparable to about 7.5 on my Nano.

Went for the full kit but I must say I'm enjoying the SS tipped WonG best but fully expected to only want to use glass. I've been using it with a glass adapter to get a carb until I see about getting a custom GonG from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd

The Nano is not so nano any more! :p

I really like your logs @RastaVapa !!!

It's been a long time since I considered a log... :hmm:

If I get one I am going for the smallest and thinnest one possible? I wonder how small it can go... :)

I think the smallest I have done so far was for @boon and that was very small I almost thought it might not work that well and get a bit hot but I made a short heatcore for it and as far as I know its still being used everyday , my personal hgl(oak) is very slim around 38mm diameter giving just 10mm of wood around core but taller and I find it fine using at all voltages so far.

Different wood density's can also effect heat soaking as a mini blackwood I did a while ago I have been told it gets very warm when on long periods , where as one of my first logs a good friend has is made of oak and of normal size only gets barely warm and its been on for over a year non stop.

So I am happy to go very small if that's your thing no probs

My Sumac runs cooler to the touch than the Lidded Sapele I did. It's 35 at it's thinnest which is around the area of the heater core. It feels hot but not so much that it worries me and it gets left on for 8 or 9 hours at a time. I deliberately turned it thin to see how the Sumac would cope.

Yes, I saw @boon's alright!!! :whoa: Almost as small as a Vapman and Vapman is reaeaeally small!!! Amazing stuff man! I am putting an HGL in my wishlist! I hope I will be able to combine it with a charging/heating dock as well cause one of the reasons I got out of the log game in the first place was that damn cord... :p

I like your creations veeery much @RastaVapa !!!

Pleased to say that my name is on the list for one of these sweet looking vapes! I recently hit the tobacco on the head :) so really hoping this will fulfil my needs. I don't miss the effects of tobacco in the slightest, its great waking up in the morning with a clear chest too. The only aspect I do miss is the duration it would have taken to smoke a spliff, Ive been using a glass pipe for the past two weeks as well as smoking pure joints which are great but ultimately the process is too short. Another downside is my consumption is definitely on the rise! I think this will even out in a few weeks when tobaccos off my mind completely.

For those of you using the log vapes currently, whats your favourite way of vaping? I notice a lot of people hitting them through various glass rigs, is that considered the best way?

I have some experience with various vapes but not with the Log varieties so any help is more than welcome!
