For those with the Evolve Plus, have you ever had an issue with the charging light on the battery going out after being connected for a few seconds? it's still flashing as if its out of battery but today the battery started acting up like that. Maybe this is an excuse to get an 18650 mod if it turns out to be broken

I really like these caps that screw on top of the chamber (?). Do other conc. vapes have them? With the little splatter dots around it I'm glad it's there and not all over ... whatever else it would be all over.

My only big complaint over this compared to flowers in my Arizer Air is that the vapor from this is so much more harsh...I guess what I mean is that no matter what I'm coughing for a few good seconds afterwards. Does anyone else have a similar experience?

Only if I heat and pull on the QDC for the entire time. I prefer to pulse and optimize the flavor, I also avidly avoid chasing big clouds as I feel that's a tremendous waste of product. I rarely cough since temps are kept lower and I get some clean air in with my pulls. It is very easy to get me hacking up a lung if I just press it and forget it

Well interestingly enough, the battery seems to work with some coils but not with others. My Torch QDC and Cerum donut coils both fire fine on it, but it flashes like it's empty with the evolve plus coil. at the same time, the evolve coil works fine when screwed into the Torch base. However, the torch battery also flashes if I screw the Evolve Plus coil and housing directly onto it (other coils are once again fine). Any recommendations for compact 18650 mods to pair with the Evolve Plus? I'm assuming those unregulated mechanical ones are a no-go. so far the cloupor mini has kinda caught my eye

Mine stopped charging after 3 weeks. There is no red light when i use the charging cable. I contacted the company for further support.

Also picked up a ishred herb vape to play with.... It seems the arsenal edition issues a slightly different QDC. its not clear if the ceramic atty works in this model.

it really looks nice and i would imagine it being a heavy duty type of vape. however, the battery could be EGO.

OK, I got to try it yesterday for the first time. I still like my Cerum better with the ceramic donut atty.

I am not a fan of this new atomizer and I think it makes the hits taste plastic and metallic. I like everything about the design of this pen but the taste is what matters and I am not too happy with it. I bought this same atomizer from edabs a while back and used it once and didnt like it. I was hoping they had improved it but I still dont like the taste.

I am assuming that there will be a ceramic donut available for this or I might try to use the one from my evolve or Nyx.

Ok, so I just got an Evolve Plus and tried it a couple of times (kicked my ass!!). Since there's no instructions that come with it, let me summarize what I understand and someone (please) tell me if I got anything wrong. Questions in brackets.
  • Click switch 5 times to turn on in standby mode, meaning it's "on" but no power going to the coils. Clicking another 5 times turns it totally off. [Question: if you turn it on and just let it sit, does it eventually turn itself off? If you can't remember whether you turned it off, is there a way to tell other than taking it apart and seeing if the coils lights up when the button is pressed?]
  • Once it's on, hold down the switch to send power to coils; let up the switch to stop power going to the coils. When hitting it, it's a good idea to keep drawing for maybe 10-15 seconds after clicking off the power to get the last bit of vapor from the hot wax (or whatever).
  • If you hold the power switch on for more than 15 seconds, the coils will automatically power off; but if this happens and you just click the switch off and on, the power to the coils will immediately come back on again. [I'm not 100% sure of this part.]
  • CHARGING: If you plug it in, the light turns red to indicate that it's charging. When it's fully charged, the light is supposed to turn green. Now, my experience with this is the red light goes out after a few minutes, but apparently that happens to quite a few units. And my light never turns green -- although I haven't let it charge more than an hour or so.
  • Although a charger is included, it charges just fine with a Samsung Android charger (at least mine seems to work fine).
  • Am I missing anything?

I have an older innokin Itaste MVP 4 (maybe 3). It's at home.

It's 510 threaded but the description says it also has a Ego 510 adapter. Maybe that was for something else. I'm reading the description online. It's a variable wattage vape. I recently picked up a Yocan plus and some blue dream wax. Will it really be that much better with the box mod (assuming they work together?).
