I strongly disagree. You can definitely run the donut with temp control. Set m1 value to 235 and set temp control to 350 at 18w. I promise you it works. Best flavor and cloud combo out there. Try it before you deny it.

I've been looking at the Eleaf iPower 80W. It appears, to be a simple, plug and go battery, with an appropriate price point. Do you guys think this would be a compatible pairing? The Evolve Plus atty only works in wattage mode. I forget the rated wattage for the coils, but I run mine anywhere between 10W-15W. Start low and work your way up to find your sweet spot.

I put my EVolove top on my mod at 12watts! You may go higher than me?

The evolve plus works in tcr mode also. M1 value of 235. Temp between 320-420° at 18w. You get the best of everything. Fast heat up, but you get temp control, so no oil burning. Plus massive clouds of you want them.
My mod is an evic vtwo mini.

I've managed to pop 2 Evolve + batteries so far. The first one flashes 'recharge' every time you try fire it, (yes, it's charged), and the newest one started turning itself on between hits. You touch the button, have a hit, put it back on the desk, and the light comes on all by itself.

So buddy at the local vape shop had an eVIC VT battery on consignment, so I scooped it. Works dandy at 15w, just not quite as small as the original batt...

We already noticed that, although, even if the light come on after each hits, it doesn't seems to power the heater, I don't know if it's a flaw or something normal. @Vitolo mentionned that earlier in this thread, i don't think your battery is faulty.

They all recycle the circuit after a use. The Battery has an integrated circuit. When the light comes on a few seconds after a hit, it is OK and standard.

Thanks guys - I didn't notice the first battery doing that. It's a little disconcerting thinking the pen might be firing away on it's own. Anyhoo the eVIC seems to be doing it's thing, and it's nice being able to adjust the temp. I just went from 11.6 to 10.8 and am really enjoying the taste of a homemade batch of Sedamen, double-winterized. Time for dog walkies. Do your biz quick buddy, or it'll get frost on it!

Hello again folks, I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried placing some sort of ceramic wick on top of the donut? As a way to carry your wax within the chamber, possibly allowing an on-demand delivery method throughout the life of your concentrate, or is that sort of device even necessary?

can anyone who has both the yocan evolve and evolve plus compare the vapor quality and performance between the two. I understand that the plus has bigger coils and a bigger battery, but is its performance much better? Price is not an issue, but size is; and i prefer the evolve's form factor.
