I just checked and the XMax capsules fit the IQ very well. The diameter and height seem good and the pearl on the door closes as it should. I’ll have to check function. I bought the IQ2 capsules awhile back and found they did not work well in the OG IQ.
Thank you very much, @The Stray Fox. DaVinci does not deliver its capsules where I live and to import it is very expensive. I can get these relatively cheap XMAX capsules and I still have a few dollars left.

I had about three IQs, the last unit I received has a small rubber protrusion in the oven that depending on the position "locks" the removal of the glass spacers.

I appreciate the test you are going to take and I look forward to hearing the result. I hope it works well! Which DaVinci capsule did you buy? Ceramic or steel? Why didn't it work well on IQ?

PS: beautiful collection, I can see that you don't like Dynavap very much lol

This glassware is based off our original design for the Arizer Solo/Air. It works well with the V3 Pro too.
Awesome! Do you ship internationally?
A hose on your hot water tap is great for cleaning bongs, stems, etc, and saves a lot of iso.
Do you mean hot water remove the resin build-up? I'm surprised, I thought it wasn't water soluble and the reason why we used ISO....
Going to add one of these to the rotation. Late to this thread.

Are the Blue and Green one's the most recent versions? They run a bit hotter or were there other updates too?
Great, hope to see you joining the Xmax Fam soon, yes the Blue is the most recent colour released but you can be assured all the devices to be the same at this point, last update is from Falls 2021.

That's good to know!

I rarely have to resort to iso for cleaning bongs or stems as I use citric acid powder and cranberry extract in my bong water, which changes every other day.
My hot water is hot though, so hot I can barely touch the bong after flushing.:2c:

The POTV capsules and the V3P are the same size, to my eyes.

Took out my (AMZN quality) digital calipers:

EXTERNALLY with lids on:
  • V3P capustule: 10.7mm diameter x 10.8mm tall.
  • POTV ONE capsules: 10.6mm diameter x 11.0mm tall.
I only measured a single sample of each… so factor that in.

Reporting capacity in grams has never made sense to me. Too many variables. How fine a grind? How dry is the herb? How tight of a tamp/pack?

For comparisons, I’d rather see capacities of devices/capsules as a volume.

i thought v3 pro has a .15 bowl
From a review, sometimes stated as .15g sometimes .25, who gives a shit, he wanted the capsule size for another vape, which he should have asked for in the 1st place.

@Petetbay Thanks for the info of @Pachena, extremely helpful!

I didn't buy the original capsules for my vaporizer because they are simply not sold in my country and the import shipping alone is triple their price. If I can get alternative capsules that cost me 1/3 and do the job that needs to be done... For me it's a matter of logic, I don't care how much weight each capsule holds, I just want it to fit in the oven of my vaporizer! lol

Hey guys, I bought the black v3 pro when it first released. I liked it and used it for 4 or 5 months but the device became blocked up and airflow was very restricted so I shelved it.

I’m considering buying the latest blue revision, I’m aware the oven runs a bit hotter. Have there been any changes to airflow design since that first version? Do they still get “blocked up” quickly? I may have just been unlucky with mine.

Are you talking about "blocked up" below the oven screen? Or in the mouthpiece?

Below the screen. I cleaned the mouthpiece and also, tried with the glass tube one and same results.

It’s like powdered AVB got under that bottom screen. I can’t get that screen out to clean under it. Tried blowing it out via the airflow holes but no dice.

I have used the Arizer Solo/Air mesh screens and they fit pretty snug on the bottom on top of the original screen for keeping small particles/kief out of the heater/air intake.

In the UK Recommended Vape Supplies just came out with kit.

Oh wow, that’s does look good. Were you able to use that tool to properly remove the stock bottom screen? Thanks.

No you don’t remove the stock bottom screen, it is not meant to be removed, you add the mesh screen on top of it. Someone has removed that screen and it is somewhere in this thread, but it’s not suppose to be removed and I think that would void the warranty unless it fell out on its own.

The product description say replacement, and in the photo the instructions say the same. Also say you can use these as an overlay to the chamber screen.
Maybe this is an aftermarket item, not one from XMAX?

"Chamber Screen Replacement Kit for the XMAX V3 Pro Vaporizer. These screens are replacements for the ones in the bottom of the herb chamber"

From the instructions: ! Below instruction is applicable to add the mesh screen to the bottom of chamber.
1. How to install the screen to the bottom of chamber?
- Put the screen into the chamber, then use the pin tool to press the screen in the specified position.
2. How to remove the screen from the bottom of chamber?
-Please use the pin tool slowly to remove the screen along the wall of the heating chamber.

This may be a Xmax product. Where’s that rep when you need him. I believe the description is in error.
The instructions tell you how to put in and take out the mesh screen, no where does it tell you how to remove the original screen. The mesh screen is flat on one side for easy removal and if you somehow removed the original screen, the mesh screen would not seal the round chamber bottom because of the flat side. I could be wrong, but I doubt it and if you think this a replacement kit for the original screen, go for it and let us know how you make out and I wouldn’t do it if the V3Pro is still under warranty. :2c:

edit: seems I may be wrong about this not being a Xmax product, it may be. Googling found available at a bunch of Aussie shops and one in Canada. Looks like Mambo screen set without the metal filters.

How to remove XMAX V3 Pro oven screens?

If you current screen has become gunked from heavy usage and is not difficult or impossible to clean, it might be time to replace the screen.

To remove your old XMAX V3 Pro oven screen, you can use the pick included in this screen pack to wedge it loose and bring it up the chamber.

When I received my green V3Pro (most recent version, I believe) it had a spare screen in the box, with the cut-off segment, I wondered why it was there, and why it would have a flat cut off of it, when the chamber is round...
My OG black one did not come with that spare in the box. I think XMAX added them to answer customer concerns, issues like op @cardyology was describing.
Just now, for the very first time, I realized the green one has had one of these "top screens" inside all along.
So, for that one, this set for sale would be a replacement.
Looking at the OG, no mesh screen down there at all!

Feel like I’m winnin’ when I’m losin’ again
Not sure why it took me so long to add one, but I grabbed a V3Pro the other morning while groggy shopping POTV. Wish I would have been a bit less groggy and clicked on purple instead of the black.

Nice little unit though, I was looking for something compact to take to bed with me. Session mode is solid and straightforward, I think this will be my new reco for first time vapers. Look forward to trying out on demand tonight.
