So I received my door knocker notification card that was dated on the 11th that said I could go pickup my Qomo after 1pm next business day, which was yesterday. But since there were no deliveries yesterday and there were today, I thought it would be a great idea to just go pick it up after 2pm. But when I gave them my door knocker, they scanned it and said, "NO QOMO FOR YOU!!! COME BACK ONE YEAR!!!"
At that point I just tucked my tail put my head down and did an about face. I hope I have better luck tomorrow, the suspense is killing me now more than ever. I'll also have some new toys to compare it too (Slash and Stella). Looking forward to getting this chapter of my life behind me, and enjoying whichever devices become adopted for good. Life is good lol.
When? Haven't seen him talk about it in 2 weeks.
Not too happy about hearing that you can burn your dab on the LOWEST temperature? What's up with that? I can't even burn a dab on the highest temp with my Puffco+. Like was he just not stopping at the right time? But still, low temp is supposed to be all about flavour a small clouds? But burning? lol
All of them burn at the lowest temp setting.
Live resin vaporizes at 315F - 400F.
They are just the same silly low quality toys compared to an e-nail.
Even a regular torch and rig works better if you figure out the timing.
Badder/butter vapes at 350-400.....
The Oura is a piece of crap though and over priced. It only has a set of 4 temps I believe and it starts really high like around 600 I think. It doesn't have an app, and doesn't really have any features that really stand out. Also with oura you can't replace your own battery. Hi @biohacker , I don't feel you can burn a dab on lower setting although there is no TC chip in fact, it's power controlled and if lower setting is low the heat build up and might end higher, especially if you don't draw hard enough, I recommand to start to hit the Qomo slowly and increase your draw rate while you feel the heat in order to compensate it.
Oura has a super easy battery replacement deal...its called 100% lifetime replacement. Also, the temps are not at the dabbing surface......try scorching anything at the lowest temp on an Oura.....I have never experienced that in a long use time.
That is true......nothing compares to my 710coils setup!
You're right, perhaps those that are burning their dabs are using different extracts but i've even tried budder which is similar to rosin and have had zero problems with burning on any of the temps.
So far my experience has been mixed... I love everything about the Qomo except for the dirty airpath with the silicone.... it completely destroys the flavour of my dab AND I can actually taste the rubber. I've decided to do a full deep clean with iso towelette to determine if this is just something that came from the factory and needed a clean/break in, or if it's just the way she goes. If it's the way she goes, then i'll be passing my Qomo Torch on!
EDIT: It's just the way she goes! So I have passed the Qomo on to someone that will appreciate it more!
I think XMAX products are very inexpensive for a good reason
So, basically, you gave up with the Qomo cause the silicone vaporpath or cause the performances...? That silicone vaporpath is something seen on every X-Max vaporizers, yes this is simplify a lot engineering and helps to offer low prices since you can do every shapes you want with silicone unlike glass or ceramic.
I'm fighting since a while to improve that aspect of our vaporizers even if it may increase retail price, I think they understood that and we will see a full glass/ceramic vaporpath unit pretty soon.
Although one big advantage of the silicone vaporpath is for cleaning, reclaim doesn't stick on that surface.
Thank you for confirming the Qomo doesn't burn any dab!

Hard to find a quality $75 dab device unless it's modbox mounted. Yocan Torch is cheap but not exactly portable mine has modbox on it as well..
Puffco+v2, hands down. If there is something that someone thinks is better, I would be very interested in knowing!
It seems my unit runs a bit hot then. That would explain why I get less hits/cycles out of it as most
I could get the bottom of the atty really clean by emptying a full charge on the red/highest setting. The walls stay dark though.
But yeah it still tastes the same.
The Peak does have silicone in the airpath too, no?
The Puffco Plus 2 is $120CAN, I never tried one but it costs at least $30 more not fair comparison and has same problem with dirty ceramics and I doubt it handles dabs the size the Quomo can do.
Did you try the Quomo with water in it?
Here's how I tested tested Quomo when I got it and never tasted rubber even with the silicone straw, used so I could see what the unit was doing.
So my puffco peak vision vape pen is due to arrive today I have a Qomo and like it so this should be a good comparisonYeah the the silicone! The performance of the device is great if you run a pre-heat, some of the hits really surprised me! But so did the poor flavour
Pretty sure my Xmax V-one+ didn't have it, but it had the crappy donut heaters that heated unevenly. Unfortunately this device isn't marketed for people like me because I care about flavour too much, and especially don't want the taste of rubber added to my tasty vapours. Why care about offering low prices so much when everyone is throwing hundreds of dollars at Puffco for their Peak which doesn't even work $200 more than your device? It certainly does taste better though.
Thank you for taking my bitching up the chain of command!

I had zero success doing burn offs trying to get the ceramic white again. I gave up once the unit turned into a burn hazard.
It does! But there is a reason that it costs what it does. All silicone is not created equally. It's like Puffco went with the platinum cured silicone, and XMAX chose the cheapest rubber silicone.
It's $95cdn and my qomo cost nearly the same? Checkout Haze Smoke Shop they offer free shipping! And you won't beat PlanetVape's prices on the atomizers at just over $20cdn each for 5 packs. The bowl isn't as big as the qomo but the hit quality and consistency destroys the qomo, and actually can pump out even bigger tastier clouds. I think it's a very fair comparison, i've been testing portable dab experiences over the past several weeks and have spent ridiculous amounts of money trying to find the best device for me, the Puffco+ is the only one that has survived the test of time, and the LEAST amount of problems (none actually).
I did! It's pretty useless! But I could easily detect the rubber taste even with a couple of drops of water masking lol
I'm super sensitive to smells, and even after cleaning the silicone, you can easily smell the silicone.
Even @420vapezone Troy in his review states that near the end of his dab he said "it tasted like tires". I don't think that was just the end of the dab IMO.
Now after my burnoff session my Qomo runs much less hot. I cannot see any glowing in the bucket anymore, even on the red setting. I wonder if it is just the atty that changed. We will see, maybe.

Try tightening the atty sounds like not contacting good.
Haha, I might try that for the final repair.Yeah get a wrench or maybe a hammer, that'll fix it...
