There is one picture taken from the bottom of an inactive volcano, looking to the other side, along a glacier and up a large gravel scree slope. I zoomed and realized the small blue pixel was my wife. She stayed up there as she wasn't in good enough shape to make it back up the scree slope. Ahh, how the tables have turned... But now I have more than 1 photo of my lovely wife as a pixel
Ha! My dear wife is shy to say the least. Over the years, when we hike or explore outdoors, she will not want her photo taken with her sweaty hair and red cheeks, but I always want to document the occasion or at least have a human in the photo for interest.
Well, marriage is all about compromise, and so we take these "Tiny Mrs. Chippy" photos. Sometimes, she figures out that I am going to take a photo and takes off down the trail, trying to get herself as tiny as she can while I fiddle with the camera bag. But later, she is always happy she is in the photos from the day, if only in a very tiny way.
Sipsey Wilderness, Alabama
Alkai Swamp, Kauai
Somewhere on Kauai (one of the beaches along the Na Pali coast I think)
Edit: I'm happy
@killick told a story that made me want to go back and look at old hiking photos.
