So I'm currently at a crossroads between an Underdog and an Enano, a predicament that no doubt many log vape users before me have found themselves struggling with. I have spent hours reading through FC and Reddit forums on both products, but I am still not entirely sold on either. If you have experience with both products, then your feedback is exactly what I'm looking for. Feel free to skip over my wall of text with your input!
This existing comparison is super detailed, and the reviewer ultimately sides with the e-nano. However, I just don't know if this information is outdated because the UD has undergone several changes. http://fuckcombustion.com/resources/comparison-between-underdog-log-vape-and-e-nano.9/
Here is the information I have gathered so far:
E-nano from Epic Vapes
Pros
Underdog Log Vape
Pros
P.S.
Shout out Ed's Woodscents, neither me nor my pocketbook are worthy of your burls but perhaps one day.
Shout out Heat Island, I just can't wait a year for my log but I'll be on the waitlist til then!

Here is the information I have gathered so far:
E-nano from Epic Vapes
Pros
- higher quality glass stems and GonGs, the feel of the build is more "solid" and it feels like a manufactured product. The glass also fits into the core more fittingly.
- much faster warm-up time due to AC rather than DC, like 10 minutes tops for full heat soak
- white walls your water pipe with milky vapor better than the UD (allegedly)
- more intuitive dimmer switch instead of a VVPS. I'm not sure if these attachments provide temperature control, or adjust the power of the device, or both...I'm a little confused when it comes to VVPS so the dimmer switch just makes more sense to me.
- fat cord that gets in the way a lot, especially when mated with a water pipe
- can't plug into a battery pack or car adapter, so no go for road trips or camping
- customer service at enano is beyond disappointing right now... I have called them twice and was repeatedly assured that they would be sending pics of their exotic wood selection, that a Valentine's day flash sale is upcoming, that the website is under re-design, etc etc... NONE of this happened and it's been over a month. No follow-ups, no responses to my emails whatsoever. Perhaps they are undergoing some kind of transition, but several people have echoed this sentiment about unresponsive CS. from epic vapes This inspires zero confidence in their abilities to uphold the warranty if something goes wrong. This is my biggest gripe with enano right now and it just colored their otherwise amazing product in a negative light.
Underdog Log Vape
Pros
- Thinner cord so it's much easier to control and move around.
- Multiple stem options so I can choose whether I want to prioritize flavor, efficiency, direct draw, water pipe mating, whatever....lots of flexibility
- Semi-portable since you can use a battery pack or a car adapter to power the UD due to its low voltage needs
- Legendary customer service, I mean they went above and beyond to answer every single one of my pain in the ass questions before I even spent a dollar on their product. Responses took mere hours and this is while they are in the midst of rebuilding with the fire and everything. Cannot even express how impressed I was with their customer service.
- Undoubtedly way sexier than the E-nano
- Slow warm up time. Nearly 20 minutes for full heat soak. Now I don't know if this only applies to older dogs, because the heater core has been revamped recently and could be faster perhaps. This is my biggest potential gripe with the UD, I just don't know if I have the patience for a 20-minute warm up time.
- The glass stems fit kind of loose and are apparently polished in the shop, so they don't fit as snugly into the heater core as the E-nano stems.
- VVPS is more confusing to me personally and less intuitive. I don't know if the VVPS is included now, I believe in the past it was not.
- Allegedly, the e-nano is better at even extraction and producing milkier, thicker hits from the materials that I have read
