Like a Lamat Revolver from the Civil War, nice to look at and to own but ffs don't use it.The original OG hybrids will ultimately be the most sought after.

Got email from S&B today. The ring and the new chamber are going to be sent in two weeks (Germany)
What’s sad is the update will most likely reduce performance in some way. The original OG hybrids will ultimately be the most sought after.
The oxidation issue is like the scapegoat soft issue... Honestly oxidation didn't even bother me that much...Soda and beer cans also form the residue. Gross huh?

Flakes are the real issue imo... And they never really acknowledged that... I mean they toned it down by trying to use oxidation as a blanket term imo. Yeah there's oxidation... But it's the glitter-like flakes of alluminium and slight melting that made me return mine. (Along with not being the biggest fan of he flavor, dryness, and vinyl taste when I would use the air pump.)
Most soda and beer cans actually have a thin liner made of a plastic material inside of them, to keep the drink from contacting the aluminum.
Oh shit, that's aluminium AND rat poop... LolI meant the outside of the can where you touch your mouth to it.

Working at grocery stores in he past I've seen maggots in cases of cans.... And mice too.
Yeah, I definetly used to see glass dust. And if a jar broke micro glass shards...And I recently learned many common glass jars have a thin layer on the outer to stop the glass on glass scratching in transit.
Glass on glass, scratching, easily and significantly, likely creating glass dust, oh jesus maybe I should keep quiet about this one for another while. Or not dig it up again I mean.
You can often see aluminium foil tear off covers on fancy soda cans from Italy,
I once saw 3 huge rats bounding through a restaurant populated part of Rome so I think that's why they do it!
Or Boundless listened to what their customers wanted and changed it, even if it cost the manufacturer more to do it (aluminium is a lot cheaper than S/S).bowed to paranoia

@BdC!
Storz & Bickel has made it clear to me that they have the worst communication of any cannabis related company. Where some (Ghost) takes a minutes to reply and most others are a day or two, S&B takes at least a week at times or they just doesn't answer (which has happened to me a few times asking about the differences between the Medic and non versions to both Vapormed and Storz and Bickel). I don't know if it's there ticketing system (which I've seen cause issues before) but it's very poor.
I also though and initially wrote that I suspected it was anodized aluminium because the color is a match and it sort of makes sense as it doesn't flake off, but when I checked on its other properties, it seemed that anodized aluminium is not very good with heat stress and can crack (though it wouldn't peel off) at temperatures above 80C. It's also a bit of an insulator.Perhaps they anodized the aluminum. My aluminum dabpress rosin plates are anodized and produce no dust or wear particles even under tons of contact pressure.
You will have to hold the valve while the bag is filling up with vapour. The Hybrid valve wont be as air tight and may take a little longer to fill the bag.Does anyone know if I can use my Hybrid filling chamber & bags at my buddy's house
with his Classic Cano tonight?
