Let's all please try to avoid statements that say someone is more experienced than someone else just because they have a low post count. I've been on this board for almost 9 years, and have participated in this community since that time. I had to create a new account a couple years ago because my old one was doxxed by someone at my work.
The point is, just because someone has a low post count doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about.
People have different experiences, and places like this are an incredible value as it gives us a community to share those experiences, similar or different as they may be.
The point is that some users are having issues, some are not. This is the way product ownership goes, regardless of what type of product the topic covers.
My own personal unit took almost 120 minutes of continued use (approx 40 3 min sessions) before the taste I was experiencing started to fade away. I can still taste something I don't like from time to time once I stop producing vapor.
I have a spreadsheet I've kept of each session since I started with the Alternate, which covers data and observations about the unit after every single use. My observations might vary greatly from someone like Vitolo, and that's actually great. I remember him from the Inhalater days, and have always valued his input. Differing opinions is what makes this community great, because it generates discussion.
Let's please not forget about that, and keep it moving forward.
I have tried to be objective in my observations, and keep any emotion out of it, as we all should. If you're going to reply with something snarky, or with something that puts you above someone else, even through a suggestion that doesn't completely connect the dots that way, please don't. We don't need that kind of stuff here. Please know I'm not singling anyone out either, just a general rule of thumb.
We have a fantastic opportunity here with a direct line to Vivant, and they're providing great customer service by communicating back to this community. I don't want to lose that, and I think all of us at the end of the day can appreciate that fact.
EDIT - As a point of reference, here is what my unit looks like after 50 sessions and 132 minutes of continuous use. The rim of the cooling unit is definitely a little bit misshapen, but I think it's holding up extremely well, and as you can tell I clean my unit thoroughly each time I use it to try and ensure I notice any changes.
