Glad to read that @RUDE BOY. Now it happened two times to me I'm very reluctant to try another replacement. I really hope I'm the only one, because Vaponic deserves way more positive attention.

I am sorry that you had such bad luck. No wood inside here. However, I had some black marks from the drilling that I removed myself. I told the manufacturer and got a 20€ voucher. Did you buy from a retailer? If so, maybe contact vaponic themselves. If I were you, I would use some sandpaper to clean it out yourself.

I love the original Vaponic, the vapor quality rivals some of the highend electric vapes I own. I was never sold on the Vaponic Plus, IMHO I felt that it was a desperate attempt on Vaponic to come up with something new. In terms of functionality and performance the Plus is not really that different from the original.

For me the wood casing has paid off multiple times as I dropped it a couple of times without any casualties (knocks on wood).

The performance is definitely the same: cool and tasty vapor! The casing gave me more peace of mind as I wasn't afraid anymore to damage the Vaponic.

I bought mine from Vaposhop, but it's a good idea to contact Solwe directly. I was already thinking about buying the Vapman basic instead of the plus, but hopefully the 'Vaponic crew' can help me.

- Yes, I totally understand the peace of mind aspect... glass unfortunately breaks at some point. That's why I bought 2 Vaponic vapes . I keep mine in a protective camera case along with a lighter for safe transport. Luckily I am still using my first.

I finally got more accustomed to the 4-flame lighter and am able to get the same nice taste as with the single flame, only faster. @Dutch-Mic did you resolve your wood dust issues? I think it can only come from the upper cap (with the clip) as I do not see where it could enter the vape otherwise. If so, try to smooth the inner surface with some sandpaper.

BTW: The use of my 4-flame torch has strongly improved the performance of the vaponic imho. The results are very consistent with almost instant vapor. I think this is due to the very even heating of the outer tube and due to the short heat-up time (7-8 secs initial and 3-4 secs to reheat).

Sorry for my late reply. I'm enjoying my holidays in Greece at the moment.

I tried to smooth the upper cap and the middle part of the casing with sand paper, but didn't get the results I wanted, maybe because I'm not the best craftsman on Earth (that's an understatement..). I'm waiting for a reply from Vaposhop, hopefully they can resolve the problem.

Do you use the "lower cap" while heating with the quadruple torch for better heat retention? With less heating time (and no wooden particles) it would certainly be my favourite vape

I rarely use the lower cap but with the 4-flame lighter I seem to get a more even extraction and more hits per lighting cycle, probably due to the very equally distributed heat without heat/cold islands. The drawback is that the lower cap seems to get hotter that way (but still manageable). It is now by far my favorite vape and even use it for the CBD flower/kief vaping with a separate "stem". To be frank, I rarely touch my vapcaps anymore because of the inferior taste.
BTW: have you tried some soft Moroccan with the Vaponic? This is just too delicious.

Well i dropped mine in the pen from waist height onto tiles. It broke eh outer tube. Ordered a new outer tube and I've just cracked the inner tube! I knew I should've just ordered a whole new model as spares. Tempted just to order the right size tubing from my
Glass supplier, then it wouldn't matter.

Gotta say this is still top of my rotation and looks as though it'll stay there at this rate. What an amazing unit!

@Tiny88 sorry for the confusion I meant I have two inner tubes in usage one for exclusive CBD-Products (to avoid accidental effects from a heated dirty inner tube) and one for the real deal. So when vaping CBD flower, I simply use another inner tube.

@Schroedinger maybe try that cheap in line triple torch -

imo the triangle triple or quad torches are too much heat on one small spot, easier to combust...
with the triple in line it's very easy to heat the surface perfectly even, i just turn the vaponic 2 times and keep the torch steady, less variables...

Another thingy i learned - with a perfect first heating cycle the visible vapour will come at the third slow puff (most tend to reheat if there is no visible vapour after the first or second puff)

@Used2use thanks, I will try it (thanks fro the link, too). However, I have not combusted once with the quad-flame and can get very nice hits. I count 1 & 2 & ...& 8 on the first cycle, slowly rotating the vaponic, and then between 3 and 5, depending if the first cycle seemed to be too cold or too hot. But 8 and 4 secs are usually perfect. I find it amazing how much vapor one can get from just a tiny nug.

They should mention this in the manual. With the quad-flame it is usually the second hit, though, and the third gives nice clouds already.

The middle vap produces the tiny parts. Maybe if my dexterity was better I could have sanded the middle cap properly, but I can't make it any smoother. I really need a "ready to use" plus unfortunately .

The shop where I ordered the Vaponic Plus proposed to buy another vape. As it was my second Vaponic Plus I wasn't happy with, I think I'll go for the Vapman instead.

BTW: have you tried some soft Moroccan with the Vaponic? This is just too delicious.

I tasted the hard Moroccan. It tastes like herbs and flowers, very good indeed!

@Dutch-Mic and @Schroedinger I've said this before,but i will again. Imo the best use of the vaponic is with hashes.. I love the punch ,the effectiveness and the taste - hash pancakes > choc pancakes. Also have to mention it also works with not so runny oils as well !

Do you use the Vaponic resin and oil filter with hash, or do you just use the regular bowl?

I use the screens. Works excellent, when finished, simply brush off the remaining dust. I works with the bowl two, but it is much more of a mess.

Yes,i make a hash burrito ,just like the instructional video for the resin filter on youtube . If you are doing oils you should load just a little bit or may get messy !

Man, if you are spoiled by a a glass vape, this really does not taste that good but I got used to it. After returning home, again using the Vaponic+, I once again was stunned by the Vaponic's vapor quality.

About the 4-flame lighter: It really shines when you are outside. I was at a party in the woods (really dark there) and the quick heat-up time allowed me to quickly take some draws and the heat retention allowed me to pass it around. People were pretty impressed by the flavor and vapor density and I was surprised that I did not break anything (knocks on wood).

Ah that can only happen when you are on holidays! I'm glad you had an unbreakable back up vape (and lots of cheap outer tubes at home).

About the Vaponic Plus, I'm a big fan of it, even though I don't own one at the moment (see above why). The short experience with it helped me to get even better results with the "OG Vaponic". After vape sessions with a single flame lighter the avb is perfectly coffee brown. My technique:

-A 28-30 seconds heat cycle with a low torch flame pointed at the herbs. This gives me very pure tasting vapor.
-After three puffs a fifteen seconds heat cycle. This is the extraction moment; pure and a little roasty flavour, and big clouds.
- Another fifteen seconds heat cycle to extract everything.

I'm going to order a 4-flame torch today, because my curiosity is killing me (not literally).

I also own a Vapman know. As previously stated by others, it's diametrically opposed to the Vaponic, even though it's also torch powered. I still need to get my technique down so I can't give you a fair comparison. The biggest difference I noticed is the vape signature. The Vapman makes me more stoned and sleepy, and the Vaponic gives me a more clear headed high. In terms of taste the Vaponic is the clear winner, even though the first two hits from the Vapman are very nice.
