i can't explain why, but at first it reminded me of something that could be a product of the star wars universe. i have to admit, i wasn't expecting such a dramatic turn in the shape department and was slightly underwhelmed with the result. the pet food dispenser associations obviously also jumped to my mind. but after vapolution cleared the things up, i can see myself get used to the appearance of the vap 3.0. to be honest, i didn't like the shape of the vap 2.0 either. i always was a fan of the camping gaz stove appeal of the original model. the puzzled look of the customs officer at the airport while checking my baggage was priceless.

just a thought. is a rubberized finish actually possible? looks good, has a great feel and would provide a lot of color options(just take a look at the colors for the triple8 brain saver helmet). doesn't seem to be really expensive either. judging by phone shells, skate helmets etc. clone troopers white could be a nice color.

The rubber grips on my herbalizer always get ground bud sticking to them and it can be annoying. I think it's static.

We are not set on the material for the chassis. Anything is possible. You guys / gals will be first to know what the final product will look and feel like.

The power requirements of VAP3 are much greater than VAP2. So at this point, there will not be a battery for VAP3. It will come with a home power supply and a car adapter.

We would love to release it for the Christmas market, but that is unrealistic at this point. We are shooting for sometime in Q1 of 2015.

The design phase is 99% complete. Tying up a few loose ends. Had to work out some fitment issues with the chassis design. Each iteration takes a few weeks. Then we can place our production orders. We are still shooting for a launch before April 1, 2015.

Really looking forward to the release of the VAP 3. I think that it will look very good once the unit is all black with the logo in green. It looks very stable with the buttons on the foot so you don't knock the unit around when pressing them.

I'm hoping for a hydro-tube that has minimal diffusion for maximum flavor. Don't need much cooling - just a bit of moisture. Would love it if it had a nicely angled mouthpiece too. I loved the PNWT on the Solo, apart from the posture I needed to take to hit it.

caughing my lungs out due to a bronchitis, made me realize again, how badly i want to get the vapolution 3.0 with its digital temperature control. just in order to be able to vape some nice eucaliptus or salvia oficinalis. i definitely want it to become my goto unit for other herbs than mj.

Is it OKay to assume the air inlet and cannabic vapor paths are lined up directly and this layout actually results in a "See-Thru" concept? E.G. the type providing a penetrating view that goes straight through the bottom... Or maybe there's curved glass inside, etc?...

I am not sure exactly what you are asking, but I think it has to do with the air path. The air path is the same as it has always been. Fresh air enters the top. There is no hole in the bottom or curves on the inside. We will be posting a video demo soon.
