I don't think I would enjoy waiting for cool down clicks.

They always happen as you are drawing. It's a device that build heat up. When it is at its peak of vapor production I usually can take 2-3 shorter but dense pulls before the cool down click happens. No waiting at all. The clicks just tell you it's time to reheat. But as long as it dont click back there will be vapor when you draw.

This is not a thermal matrix based vape. The discs are calibrated to bowl temp and not matrix temp. And being copper, the bowl is super reactive. So really no waiting.

I like the topping up/cumulative effect of heating the OG wok. I regularly maintain a slowly rising temperature through 2 second blasts from my torch.

Which reminds me -anyone know if the old vapman lighters have been permanently decommissioned? Don't get me wrong, I love my honest/jobon lighters, but if they're pulling out of the vapour space, I need to know if have to start bulk buying old stock.

This is pretty much it, yes. It works well enough by counting/intuiting but the clicker gives a reference to an optimal temperature in the pan. You reheat to maintain that temp; otherwise it orients you in case you want to push a little harder. It works best with continuous reheating but you can also pick it back up later, if necessary.

Like the others said there isnt a whole lot of waiting. However if you’re like me and like to run things a little hot you can absolutely have a session where you get the heat up click and you keep that train rolling for the whole session, not getting the cooldown click once. I seem to do this more often than not.

No, it doesn't go down deep enough. Air intake will be fully open.

Edit: They have also stated that they won't be able to make the 2.0 mouthpiece design in glass, unfortunately.

Damn....This just reminded me....A user called @Nugg hooked this up and was hitting it continuously by cooling it before the light would change.

I bet this would be much easier/better with the continuous heat & click!

Between the "old" Vapman 2.0 and the new 2.1, which one gets the nod when it comes to hash? The bigger bowl is obviously designed for flower, so it would be interesting to hear more about how it affects hash use.

By the way, on a side note, the slight negativity aimed towards the beta testers is really uncalled for IMO. If you don't care about the "teasing", just wait a few days until everything is public? I personally think the sneak peeks have been great for building some anticipation.

I love it when a new device gets teased by experienced beta testers. We get to ask a bunch of questions to inform our purchase. I get the jealousy aspect I guess. But why wouldn't manufacturers tap into the geekiest, most experienced vape heads as a resource?

I imagine the people who were selected were selected for good reason. If they picked me it would have been less valuable because I have no previous Vapman experience.

You’re gonna love it! It’s not a heavy hitting electric vape, but it will take you where you need to go in a very satisfying way, not to mention they’re gorgeous little things.
