What would be at the top of your lists for improvements?
I think there are more interesting things to be done with airflow and stem options. Mostly stuff above the pan. I could also see them improving the mica portion. The pre-char is a really nice idea and I'm curious to see how it works in practice. That's the more interesting upgrade for me personally.
Also, I’m totally not surprised that you aren’t impressed haha.
I think the work that they are doing is very impressive. I suspect the other secret improvements are even better. Just the 2.0 stuff and the bigger bowl don't make it a better vapman for me personally.

I love that vapman as a company is thriving and there is real excitement there. It warms my cold cynical heart.

How Soon Is Now?
I wish them absolute success, but I don't think a larger pan is anywhere near the top of my list of improvements for the vapman. I hope this is just an XL and not a replacement for the original. I was disappointed with the 2.0 upgrades too and I wish they still produced both.
really? the click in screen and the metal liner in the middle section were top notch improvements imo. no fiddling with little screws and no juicy reclaimed wood anymore is awesome for the vapman!

I love the look of the prechar!
Inside this new chamber there can be 2 things imo: bimetallic click disk or a heat retention disk.
Both make sense, but i'd prefer no click and just something to increase how many puffs i can do with one heatup.
Really interested to hear all the changes of this new vapman XL.

Unregulated Tendencies
I think there are more interesting things to be done with airflow and stem options.
I don’t know that the spiral intercooler (took mine out) was necessary, but the slot intake vs the 3 holes was a great tweak for the V2.

With my OGs, it’s a two-handed operation to goose the airflow while taking a draw. Love that I can hit the V2 one-handed.

Of course, playing the Vap-flute is oddly satisfying in its own way.

This is where my heart's at, too. I'd love for a more OG version to be kept available, but this... it's pretty darn good to be honest. : )

Okay, first question: does it work with the Station?
Let me answer that because this was an issue that I had....No. Officially it does not. BUT You can place the Vapman on the Station but, it will not work as the other models...but, it still works...it does not sit properly in the well because it is bigger. I understand that in the near future there will be something to fix that or adapt it. The lights do not work with the new model.

Regardless, the new Vapman is a beast. No doubt. INHALE innovation at its finest....while keeping the Vapman mystique.

Ah! Can't wait to see about this!

But there are new possibilities opened with liberation from the lamp! ; )

A closer look on the pre charred wood and engraved springs.

To me the bigger bowl along with the 2.0 midsection are responsible for a more intense taste than the regular vapman.

Tbh I've never bothered using my OGs with hemp flower because without the psychoactive compounds I need a strong taste and big clouds to keep the experience interesting. This is one of the benefits of this new pan.

With high THC flower however the full pan really knocks me out. It have been a loong time since I've been that high.
The micro dose abilities are still excellent though.

@Cheebsy this new iteration can be retrofitted with the current Italian pan so the wood geometry is basically the same than the 2.0 but still the pan is almost twice bigger. It's really shaped like a wok now.
Maybe you can see it a bit better here :

Also this new pan handle a medium grind better than the former, which is nice. In fact I sold my finishing grinder which was certainly a beautiful and effective piece of gear but a pain to operate and clean.

I second this :
.. it's pretty darn good to be honest.

It's still a vapman honestly but somehow even more relaxed now.

Thanks for the non-answers.
I suspect that even if the beta testers know the answer to the price question, they are embargoed on that fact. Probably some information will come out each day after the vapman social media announcements. Click discs might be next? I would expect the price to be held until they are available to order.

That's wonderful news! I've never considered the flavour to be that good in comparison to my convection vapes sadly, despite popular opinion.

Thanks man, it's easier to see here and the exploded picture is very much appreciated. 👍

Basically we were asked randomly about 2 months ago if we wanted to take part. They gave us an option to donate some coins for the beta model but it wasn’t necessary. You guys will know the full price soon, and what woods they will be releasing with.
Were there changes to the first models you were sent based on your feedback, and were you sent those subsequent iterations?

No they basically had it ready for market by the time we got one, and as far as I know no changes were required. We debated on what to call this new model for a while though haha.

So this wasn’t beta testing per se and was just gifting you the new model.
