Oh I agree with OF. You have to dance on that fine line between perfect heat and nasty combustion and experimentation is your only teacher. But he does have a valid point. In order to push the vapman and truly get to know you have to experiment with the torch and each torch is different. Thats the only way to learn the vapman
This is one first recommended by none less than Vitolo his own self:

I've got one, serious business, more than I can effectively use with VM. But if you want more fire, it's got my recommendation too. Holds a LOT of fuel, too.

I always explain it like this to my friends I call it "A dance between vapor and combustion" funny I'm not the only one who thought of it like that .You have to dance on that fine line between perfect heat and nasty combustion
The vapman has been out for quite a long time and it used to be under the radar but i gotta feelinafter a cloudy session yesterday, i have to voice some negative criticism. the vapman might affect your ability to use it, after a good first load. so either you take a break until you regain your dexterity or use a "safer" alternative if you think, that you're not medicated enough. and yes, it's too efficient. i had some leftovers which would make a joint not even smell like weed, but the vapman stretched it to 2 full loads, with the second proven to be too much to handle. of course it's all subjective, but an interested buyer might get an idea, about what kind of beast the little guy is.
i wonder, if somebody came across a knock-off or did the vm completely stayed under the radar, because it looks so inconspicuous.

I just realized that putting equal size pieces of hash on the screen helps vaporize all of the hash more evenly, thus retaining the good flavour for longer.

They do come with the cool Vapman pouch. I have a grip of torches, in fact all of the ones shown, but the best torch I have is the Vapman torch. I promise that this is not more of my fanboyism for the Vapman but something I have really tested. If the Vapman torch is not doing the trick for you I recommend that you purge and refill the tank.
I felt the same way as you, Steama. It's hard not to sound like a fanboy, but I was really surprised how good that lighter works. They do come with the cool Vapman pouch. It may look plain on the pictures compared to some others (like my pretty Vector), but when I used it a few times I was pleasantly surprised.
@NorVape - you simply have to push the pointed end into your gas hole......
I don't personally purge every time I refill - but it is recommended
Acetone is recommend in the vapman user manual.
Acetone is the recommend solvent in the vapman user manual because it won't damage wood.
OF - you're the man!!Fun gadget. I agree, don't purge every time. That definitely goes against normal 'bottled gas' practice........
In the same vein, I would not recommend running the adjustment down to the bottom either. Why? You needless wear the seal ring (risking leaks) and lose your preferred setting.......
