Vapman

I can't tell from the video. It is out of focus so not easy to see the details.

Are the nozzles straight and tightly screwed ?
thanks, i'll try and upload a better image or video later, but the nozzles are as tightly screwed as possible with my #0 screwdriver which provides little grip on the screws if at all.

apologize for the blurry and dirty earlier images, this one is hopefully easier to decipher.

if any of you looking at this are thinking, "damn I can fix that in ten minutes," I'd love to hire you to repair my vapmans.

As much as I love vapman, for some reason or other my units tend to require skilled maintenance after awhile, even though I take care of my stuff.
Skilled maintenance?
I think yours desperately needs a cleaning to start with, no?
Not trying to be rude or so but you say you take care of your stuff but that doesn't show from this piece tbh.:hmm: :o

This one looks like it's been thru the works and never has been cleaned and i think most (if not all) vapes will stop working properly without any cleaning along the way?

No, i am looking at it and i think "Damn, maybe you could try cleaning it". ;)
And it will take more than 10 minutes imo.

Brother, what the hell happened to this thing?

From those pics everything looks fairly centred to me, no??

top two tubes (esp the one on the left) seem lightly bent away

Looks that @coolbreeze is right.

Most likely, at some point the mid-section got glued to the pan, cooled down, and when you tried to open it, the red and green tubes bent and moved a little inward.

Maybe it’ll destroy it completely, but maybe it can help:
Unscrew just a little bit “red” and “green” and try to put the mid-section into the place - don’t push too much, you don’t need to lock it, just to push “red” and “green” little bit deeper.

Put the vapman on the desk, then you perform it - so it will be easy to find 90’ angle between mid-section and core.
Don’t lock it completely - tubes may move too deep - you just need the tubes little bit deeper and to compensate for the curves.

Also be gentle on screws - the heads are already damaged.

I had deliberately only focused on cleaning the middle part and mouthpiece reasoning that brush cleaning the bottom would unnecessarily cause stress and the bottom has no or little bearing on flavor. Yeah it will take more than 10 minutes, and I have a few other vapmans so it’s not really a concern.
The way I see it is that as a worst case scenario if I destroy a vapman every two years it's worth it. Thanks for the input everyone.

...was that a Vapman? I have never seen anything like that. I would not clean it. I would get a new CLICK and dump that. That looks like hell. The taste must be hell. Please I won't charge you for my professional advise. Take it and open the lid of your garbage and toss it. You are better off just getting a fresh one. I say that with love.

It seems you have very successfully done everything you can to get the fictitious first prize for the maximum f... ...worn Vapman. :D
That’s funny in a tragi- comic sense. You should know that the middle section and mouthpiece are immaculate.

The middle section is where the taste is defined, as long as the pan is dusted I don’t see what bearing a dirty bottom could cause flavor wise.

Thank you so much for the detailed and visual explanation. I have a friend out of state who fixed a similarly wrecked vapman bottom for me, I won’t ask him again. Life goes on and lessons learned.

I suggest scraping the hash off the edges and rolling out the so-called vapman ball. I think it will be a very delicate archival material.....
