A baptism by fire sounds like what my fixer upper had
lol. Someone went for the kitchen torch. ; )

Edit: 20% off the Copper-Brown Vapmans through January. The wood is gorgeous. It's glassier and color-shiftier than the purple Amaranth, fwiw.

As much as I love vapman, for some reason or other my units tend to require skilled maintenance after awhile, even though I take care of my stuff.

Anyway I can’t close up the middle section into the bottom, I think the dish is off center perhaps. And I don’t want to mess with it, knowing I’ll certainly make it worse.

So, is there anyone in the US capable and experienced with fixing vapmans? I can’t be the only one who needs domestic servicing for our beloved vapmans.

Thanks in advance!

Could you post pictures ? Open and with midsection on (but not closed).
Can you tell exactly what prevents the midsection from closing ?
thanks, later when my friend comes over she can hold the phone and I could make a more descriptive video but you can see that the dish is slightly off center which i think is the reason i can't connect both ends of the middle section to the bottom.

Yeah the dish looks off center. Flip it upside down so we can see it from the heating side please. Also is the bowl recessed over one of the nozzles ? Is the nozzle still screwed tight against the wood ? Is the nozzle still crimped tight in its hole in the pan ?
