The Click was not made for the Station but, it does work in a way. The Station's lights do not work with it. It does not sit properly but, still can manage to work.

Michael and David are considering doing something about this in the future. I am looking forward to that day because I ONLY use the Station with Vapman....very rarely I use a torch. I used a torch to BETA test the Click...it was a great experience but, I love my Station.

Unregulated Tendencies
I took my Pear Classic for a spin and realized that I had never put my OG and Click side by side.

I was surprised to discover that they’re actually the same height, both base to deck and base to mouthpiece (even if the barrel distortion seems to indicate otherwise).

Even more surprising was that the OG is a *whisker* wider than the Click. If I hadn’t put them base to base, I still wouldn’t believe it.

The differences are aesthetic. The Swiss edges are rounded off, softening the silhouette and IMHO giving it a kick-ass feel in hand. The Click feels bigger bc the hard angles and shallower sculpting give it a brawnier stance.

Not to be too car guy (bc I’m totally not) but it’s a bit like an Alfa Romeo Spyder vs a Ford Mustang. Funny that the Italian model would be the Mustang here.

tl;dr I have a gram of live resin that was misplaced and totally dried out. I have discovered that a couple grains of this melted in among a trad hard hash turns into a pliable paste that gives vapor for days. Hashman ftw!

hello vapmans!!!
I think this is my first message even though I've been following you for a long time in silence...in fact I've already had the kotibè wood for a few years. Now I've updated with the station and the cherry click wood.
I also have the legendary Lotus!
I love the cherry click, the slightly larger pan makes a big difference, plus the click works wonderfully well and is a pleasure to use and inhale...
The station initially left me perplexed 🤨 ... I couldn't get thick clouds with the classic olive 2.0 and with the kotibè...
then with temperature 8; I leave the vapman on the station when the green light turns on for about 5/10 sec. and I get tasty and thick clouds... 10 sec. for hash.
Hello to all of you from Italy!!! byeeeee

Soooo to clear things up on the Station and the Click. What you are losing with this is the correct VISUAL cue from the Station's sensors. Only visual cue they applies still is the light turning solid orange to indicate proper temp reached. No heating or green light indicators. But while not perfect, the Click does seat quite nicely in the station. And you just need to go by the AUDIBLE cue that the flower is ready to vape. But really lovely in use. With the Station's dial and the audible click as the reference point, some great possibilities for repeatable and really dialed in hits.

How many vaps could a Vapman vap…
You know, @fangorn I think the click, even the cherry, is as photogenic as the originals.

Decided to switch things up from my usual “nature” shots and do a little Vapman around town kinda thing.. which was interesting to say the least. I was asked by several people what I was doing with this tiny wooden thing, it sure can be a conversation starter.

Not included in the pics is a little stop in on a protest as well as being serenaded by a violinist. The city sure can be an interesting place.

Can someone tell me what the qualitative differences are between standard Vapman and the Click?
I do see the somewhat minor visual differences, in shape, but how is the Click so much less $ ?
Do they tend to hit about the same?
The $99 price point is really calling me, to try out my first butane vape...plus, you folks all seem to love the Vapman!

Qualitatively the Click seems to prolong flavor a little longer and roasts very evenly. It's easier to get heavier vapor with the click as a guide, and the bowl's bigger. I think the price reflects the unfinished cherry, and the walnut is less fancy than the olive, I guess? They are both fine, fine vapes but it might be easier to learn on a Click and then grab a V2 when you are ready to go totally manual (or if you need a hash vape. Or if you are buying a station).

I'm not here for a long time, but for a good time
my cherry click showed up yesterday. oiled it up last night and had a chance to use today. it is everything the beta testers said it would be! based on the comments here, I thought the click would be much softer. there is no noticeable difference in taste with the click v. v2, but it seems like I am burning through bowls more quickly. I am getting more clouds, but I am more of a flavor chaser so it's not something that I generally weigh heavily. very impressive achievements to the gentlemen of inhale.

I'm enjoying finishing bowls in 3 cycles. By the way, being able to crush 0.2g with barely any torch time is incredible. Other well known butane vapes would need so much more torch time. This thing has incredidible efficiency.

EDIT I wasn't referring to brick style butane vapes. Those things need barely any torch time.

Butane powered
Mine has finally arrived! Cherry Click has been checked (no dings), placed in its new egg (I like eggs lol), and I'll give it a spin later.

One thing I'd like to mention is how nice the packaging for the new style Vap Case is. Very premium feeling, despite it being cardboard. They could have gone cheap and flimsy, but they didn't.

If you like this Vapman ritual then you would also love the Lotus.. Instant in control/on demand vapor from torching once you get the hang of it. Gives you the feeling of old school lighting a bowl up while your taking your hit via j-hook. I have an Amaranth Lotus and I like it just as much. I don't use it as much as the Vapman, but it has its place.. kick back on the weekend and dance with the Lotus. May even be nicer vapor depending on who you ask.

Sorry if I just gave you more VAS if you don't already have a Lotus 😀

Sure I'll check it out. Right after I pick up an Olivewood OG and a purple heart click...

Really enjoying the new click after a good amount of sessions. Unfortunately had 2 sessions combust because I was seeing where I could take the click. Love the larger bowl!
Any tips on how to get the combustion taste out easily?

ISO in the bowl and metal insert, try warm water-soaked q-tip for the wood. You could also try warm water and dishsoap, but be prepared to taste anything you use--it's probably better to let reclaim cover up the smoke-flavored wood than to introduce new smells and flavors. Upshot is clean the cleanable parts as well as you can and lay more reclaim over the rest.

Disassemble the midsection and dump everything except the wood in iso.

Put the wood in pure acetone for an hour in a closed jar. Then wax the outside of the wood again because acetone will remove the wax. (Pure acetone will evaporate fully in a few minutes. Absolutely no residue in the wood).

For the bowl I suggest looking a few pages back. The baking soda paste recommended by @Chicken No Name does wonders.

Edit : if it's a cherry pure, you can easily disassemble the heating element with a precision screwdriver.

lol, I just read a whole thread about this recently .. maybe it was here? acetone will totally clean the wood smells but suck out all the water as a side effect (potentially causing wood warp/shrinkage) but there is an additional step I think.. it's to soak the wood parts again in 70% or less ISO (which is 30% water) for a little bit after the acetone bath.. and when the 70% of alcohol evaporates from the wood it leaves the remaining 30% of water back inside the wood 😀 well at least that's the logic. Vapman chemist 101.

Personally never done this.. I try not to combust, but it happens.. usually takes many non-combusting sessions and just leaving the vapman in outside air and sun for a while and the combustion stink may go away eventually..

I've done countless acetone soaks (it's been 12 years that I use my first vapman).
as long as you wax the wood after the soak there won't be any issues.

I wouldn't put the wood in alcohol since I'm pretty sure alcohol won't evaporate fully.
