First, I'm sorry for the long text-wall I gonna place here...
They looking very nice and are for a short term storage certainly suitable.
For long term storage I'm not sure, if the sealing pad is airtight enough. But they are not to expensiv, so if you would like to test them, I would like to hear, if you are happy with them. ;-)
Less elegant but absolutely tight are these preserving jars for me, as well with place for a little boveda pack in it. Be sure to buy the good quality with a natural rubber sealing and a thick wire bracket! f.i.:

Btw, imho the ultimative best weed storage would be a humidor in spanish cedar wood. Unfortunately, such a precious work cost in my needed size a small fortune.

and doing it like you mentioned: magnetic tape on the bottom of the storages, a magnet on the bottom of the case
Ouhh, I don't want to taking credit for others' achievements.
I only hold some metal cans with (strong) magnets. The jars are putting in without a fixation on the bottom.
But I guess your idea give some extra freedom in positioning for bigger boxes.
Up to now the metal cans holding the little glas-storages back from dancing around in the box during the transport.
Whats the best way to keep the jet flame lighter in place?
That's a very good question! ;-)
I separated the cap from the lighter and squeeze it with a paper in the hole, so it works like a gun-holster.
An other solution could be to install two clamps. But they must be good mounted and the box-wood-top has only a few millimeter. If you find a better solution without plastic or foam, please let me know.
Can you also provide me an link to your other used materials?
I bought the most things in the local head store or supermarket. I love it to support the local stores.
Did you build another box (beside those pics at page 176 and 224)?
Yes, but I posted no pics here. I changed only the layout a bit and test it now for a while. Also a bigger box is in planning. Stay tuned, the winter is coming soon. ;-)
Anything else important which I missed to add to the buy-list?
That's up to you, what you would like to have in your box or what your needs are.
I wish you a lot of fun when planning and crafting! We are looking forward to your customized box and would like to see some pics, if possible.
