Great to see you man...long time!
Flame powered vapes have changed the game for me...buy all of them!
Yeah, great to see you, too, with your beautiful stealthy all-black VM! You charred it by yourself? I'm thinking about doing the same with my basic walnut...
Sadly I'm too far away to order from
@M0J0 , I would have bought the chocolate walnut or a two-tone (or even both) for sure!
Since my Mighty will be on his 4th RMA soon and the Crafty is just following right behind I'm enjoying the simplicity and reliability of the VM very much! I got my VM exactly one week ago and the crafty is still on his first charge, catching dust!
I guess I need a convection unit like the daisy in the very near future (and a vapcap just because... well... I guess most of you know VAS)
I was considering to buy the grasshopper this month but I guess it won't be better than the crafty in terms of battery life and reliability and so far I'm pretty impressed by the heavy hitting gas-powered egg.
The VM works best for me with traditional hashes ( mechanical extractions) , mostly between solid to creamy and sticky, bubbling but not totally melting down. Unbelievable tasty first few hits and with 1 or 2 stirrings I can drive this little guy just on the edge of combustion to fully finish a bowl.
The mild wooden walnut flavor matches the earthy and spicy hash flavor - with a slight undertone of charred wood just in my nose - so well, it gives me a unique experience. I can feel the magic happening now! (I vaped some temple nepalese, it might have had some influence on the magic).
Fine and dry herbs are working great, but the taste reminds me too much of the MFLB for my personal liking. I have to overfill and tamp the bowl for decent clouds which makes the filling process quite complicated. But it might just be the lack of some technique...
I had sadly no luck with carbon-based extracts yet. I tried some BHO and some winterized QWISO and got pretty unimpressive results. Only the middle section got saturated in oil. Perhaps I need to be more aggressive with the torch to achieve higher temperatures. When I'm heating the VM up I can see how the resin runs out the wood now... I'm appreciating any advice!?!
But so far I'm happy with my purchase. Nice work
@vapman , all my compliments, you created a very unique piece of wood and filled it with love to spread the magic around the planet. This is the first vape with "personality" I own. Hand made from materials sourced by Mother Nature. Flame-powered, one of the oldest energy sources we use. I absolutely love the feeling of the warm wood coming alive in my hands when heating this beautiful thing up. It is so much fun I catched myself with the loaded vapman in my hands even if I was already too medicated to take one more single hit.
I guess we'll have a good time together, VM and me. But I need one of those SS rings to prevent the middle section from further charring due to the high temp use... And a cheaper source for high quality hashes, netherhash is quite expensive. VM with me in Chefchaouen, a dream would come true!
Edit: I guess the MFLB is handmade, too, which was one of my first vapes to be true. But I don't think it had a soul like the vapman has!
