Vaphit Quartz Cap -

do you find the qoq any better at microdosing than the vaphit x? or taste significantly better? i use the x with a hula stem all the time, i like it so much i have been wondering recently whether i should not also give the qcq a chance - but i am not all that clear on the advantages vs the x..
I didn't want the X stem, so bought just the tip & caps. Thought that maybe the o-rings would be less of a hassle but nope. I now keep the tip as a spare one for a DV cap, works just fine...

I really enjoy toking on the QOQ, not messing with o-rings, and find the design quite elegant. But if you are happy with the X, I don't think the QOQ is going to serve you any better in terms of performance, plus it is a lot more delicate and isn't great for on-the-go.

Both are equally nice for microdosing. IMHO the taste with the qoq versus the complete X is a tad better and the complete glass made it easier to control the toasting of your material.
But as other stated: its fragile and not necessarily for otg.
The tip fits the fusion 2.0 stem (although not perfect).
So if you like the X and really want to still your vas for a relatively small amount of money, go for it, else its a niche thing.

Both can microdose as well as each other IMO. Another slightly annoying thing about the QOQ is the screen holes are too big so I find flakes come through unless a course grind. The cooling spiral is really nice though.
This is really annoying, therefore I use a screen from the X under the glass screen, which prevents 99% of material going trough.

Can someone with a QOC tell me the diameter of the spiral. I really want to try a spiral for cooling and this is alot cheaper than a Revolve, even though I also really wanted that mouthpiece on the Revolve too. But I think the QOC is gonna be too big to fit inside anything. Thanks.

One side is about 12.3mm in diameter, the other side is more elliptical: 11.6 to 12mm.
One side fits the Angus Enchanced, the other side not. Due to being (probably) handmade, those sizes may vary from stem to stem.

Mine is also about 12.3 but on both sides. Not perfectly round as this varies slightly, but it fits perfectly into my Lobo.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. Yup, too big for anything I want it for. Had hopes of maybe putting it into my Couch Log stem too. Not sure what other types of similar style vapes you have, and the corresponding cooling for them.........but how do these big spirals like on the QOC and the Tempest do for cooling and restriction?

Edit: Never mind guys, I'm gonna figure out a way to DIY something crude up.
