I've tried the Cloud at lowest setting as well, it is certainly not for all folks but for those not blindly (rather, quite visibly) chasing clouds I think it is a fantastic asset. I'm sure there are people here that would argue that its not "working" at that level, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder (and it wasn't a waste of breath IMO).
Re: super fine grinding: I think people often overlook exactly what a "vapor" cloud
consists of. Those higher temps that produce the almost smoke-like clouds contain particulates folks! (Water filtration is great for this reason, but bong-
smokers are still inhaling/exhaling dense and heavy particulate-laden smoke despite elaborate diffusion after all.) Higher temperatures (which cause scorching) and a finer ground are more likely to introduce particulate into the air-stream (and not necessarily the "oh I see a little piece of kief in my bong" sized particulate, they can/will be
much smaller as well).
Thanks to a resident smart guy for elucidating some of these issues for me.
I'm still enjoying the Cloud and HT quite a bit.
Something I wanted to add to the
Misc. section of my (now lost in the shuffle lol) review: the Cloud sports a nice heavy-duty power chord with adequate length (for me). I think this is great.
