Who here typically uses their cloud above 2 PM? (heat setting of course) - I have started vaping at a bit of a higher temp and I am having trouble going back - I almost feel like noon isn't satisfying anymore.
I'm still at noon on my original ticker. Getting fat tasty clouds. I can finish the elb in one but I always hit it twice.Who here typically uses their cloud above 2 PM? Slow and steady on the pull and the elb is filled about half way. I still em amazed at this thing. I will be buying a cloud plus soon. Mine is no longer under warranty because I did the cord mode. All good , I'll have a back up.Damn bro - One? you iron lung mofo!
So I finally got my new and improved Cloud Plus (2 months in repair! ... however ... it was just timing of things ... no ones fault and I'm very happy to have my first Cloud back since my backup Cloud died shortly after the first). So far so good ... produces equal or better vapor than my last Cloud within <10 minutes. It will produce great vapor within a few minutes, but not up to its full potential until maybe around 10
I'm assuming it's because it's a repair, but the fit/finish isn't perfect as in the metal casing seams aren't joined properly all the way around, the bottom part of the casing was partially cut out and the semi-circle cut looks just sort of broken off but it's at a spot where it really doesn't matter and doesn't cause any issues/problems. As well (like some other members mentioned), my bamboo is slightly too far down so one of my hydratubes didn't seat fully on it leaving an extremely slight air gap. I gave my bamboo a slight nudge upwards and all is good
All-in-all, I'm super happy with the upgrade ... it's super nice that it stays cooler to the touch and heats up quicker and the vapor quality is at least as good! (Nice that in a pinch I could turn on my Cloud and within 3 minutes be vaping if need be as well )

As far as I know, as of right now the only HydraTube available for purchase that is 'Strait' & not of the 'bent-neck' variation(which is what you are referring to as a sherlock style) .. is the almighty SSFG HydraLine.i was hoping to get a glass option of a cylindrical design, not a sherlock style mouth piece. the sherlock style seems to be the only and more expensive options. the vertigo or showerdome would be my pref...any idea?
When you say combustion emulation, are you talking about a massive 1 hit cache the elb sorta deal?
Or just referring to vapor density?
Or the effects of the MJ?
Or is it all of the above?
Seriously can't wait for the aus version to come out
Same here, except my old arthritic hands love the heat. For flowers 9-11 is where I'm usually at and noon for hash. My Cloud combusted at 2-3 . . .My ticker from last August is usually set at 11 or 10:30. Anything above 12 and it is hot as hell...Can't hold it except right at the bottom of the fins. Never tried it in the 2 or 3 range...afraid it would probably combust. But I love this thing and it has performed flawlessly since day one...
To keep the upper portion of the bamboo clean I use alcohol prep pads and my trusty Skilletools HoneyBun. Use the HoneyBun/prep pad combo to gently ream out the bamboo. slowly increase pressure if necessary but be careful. That baked on ring can be nasty. I use the sharp end and scratch any left overs off like a dental hygienist does to your teeth. I believe Oldie used PBW to good effect as well. Preventative maintenance helps with this area. The bottom section can be cleaned the same way if it needs it.Does anybody use any specific tools aside from a qtip when cleaning the bamboo? I was thinking of getting soft bristle brushes that are 18 inches long - maybe its just my OCD but I'm like fuck - I just want to clean in there. I look forward a complete analyses from the king of OCD cleaning - Tdub!
