I'd try 3 o'clock. I never fill the elb more than halfway, even that half is very loose and not packed. Don't grind into a fine powder, it clogs the screen. Use your best stuff! Flowers without abundant visible trichomes will usually give you weak vapor. Hope that helps.

okay so much longer than just the green light eh? I turned it up to 3:00 gunna give it another shot after another 5 min. I am so stoned. I have one of the 'ticking' models, I have it set at noon and let it sit for about 5 minutes or so more once it goes green, I find that really makes a difference. I don't know if that's still the case with the Cloud Plus.

Close to 36 hours have passed now since the last reply from VXL staff regarding my deceased Cloud. I hope this doesn't turn into one of those back-burner situations.. I dropped a lot of money for my unit and having it fail only seven days after purchase scares me a bit. Will I get any closer to a replacement Cloud if I call VXL directly, or will I not get anywhere unless through email? How long until you received your replacement after it malfunctioned? So many unanswered questions. I just want my Cloud working again. :/

Loving my evening cloud/clear matrix sessions 
I had two clouds that I had gotten a chance to use before having to send in for repair, and now my latest has Cloud Plus tech. I read stonemonkey's post about the new heat shield; thats awesome. But, I too feel like my previous two clouds were significantly hotter and could darken my herb much further. I feel forced to start every elb at 3 to get a decent milk, and then I have to crank it to max almost right after. My other clouds could deliver huge milky hits at 12 and 1'oclock!
I have a new set of better fitting ELBs heading my way right now, but i'm not sure that they are responsible for the temperature disparity. Is it possible my unit is simply under powered? I'd hate to have to send it in and be told that it is in fact the correct temperature. I'm going to have a skype sesh with a buddy soon to compare. As is, I would really like to be able to go hotter.

My ticking Cloud works like your old one, for reference, Jjd2sc. 9.9 out of 10 times I hover between 12-1 for bountiful clouds, great taste and a nice med/drk brown abv.

Since you were one of the earliest Cloud users here, we'll especially be looking for your comparison. (My old unit performs so well I'm nervous about it being changed.)

I hope to be able to keep using my ticker unit for as long as possible, I sure do love how it works. I do think it runs hot I don't put it up to 3'o anymore, maybe 2 max, to avoid accidental combustion, but I like having that range to get higher if I want to push it. Sounds like some of the newer models max out at where my 2'o setting is at.

But real soon, I should have the funds to buy any cloud package I desire...should I hold off until 4/20 week to purchase? Is it typical for companies to even do sales on that day/week? I usually don't browse online that week since I managed my money wrong and don't want to tease myself but I wont let this year be the same.

This is not the place to resolve issues with getting Cloud support. Please contact VXL outside this thread.
To reiterate, reporting a problem here once is fine. After that, please deal with VXL directly until the issue is resolved or stalemated. This is not the VXL support forum and in fact, they've announced that they will no longer respond to support issues here. Repeated posts here about a problem have been used in the past to put pressure on VXL and that is not fair to them or to other people who aren't complaining as loudly. Because of this and similar activity in other threads, we have adopted a policy to prevent "forum blackmail". I'm not accusing you of that but I want to make sure it doesn't go further.

Because it seems to work now.. yup.. going nuts here.. 
My Cloud Plus did not get nearly hot enough. I had to send it in to get turned up. It was really weak even at max. Not impressive at all. If that had been my only experence with the Cloud i would have thought the Cloud was crap. Luckly I know what a properly working Cloud is capable of. I hope there are not too many other Plus's out there that run like that.
edit: Mine was def not the placebo effect. On max it would still be very light brown, still with green specs. And that was after being warmed up for a hour+ and way too many pulls on ELB. I used to finish an ELB in 2 draws. On the C+ it never seemed to fully finish. I did a side by side with the Q and the Q out milked the Plus no problem. it wasnt even close. It was the exact opposite with my first two Clouds. I had two friends that were very familiar with the first two Clouds confirm it also (they didnt believe me).
mod note: You've reported your issues with the product/company multiple times. Your first post in the thread was a detailed 'stay away from this company' post. You don't get to repeat your problems whenever you like.

Love the video and you look toasted!! Were those hits at 3 or 12? Maybe it's the camera angle or the lighting in the room but the hits didn't seem too dense.
