Am I reading correctly? Are you guys having trouble with HT's having drag? I would have thought the opposite considering that their all diffused so well. Could it be too much water perhaps? I've learned with quality glass you need very little water to make the magic happen.
The diffusion is great but that's not where the drag is being made on most of the hydratubes. The smallest "air inlet holes" typically are in the splashguard*

Without a splashguard, the SSFG hydraline has been argued the most free-flowing hydratube. (Although not sure if it has been compared with the 2.0 line)

. . . my only concern is that certain soaps and detergents need a specific temperature to be activated . . .

That's a good point. I think I'll use Dawn with hot water out of the tap.

I am not immediately brushing out the ELB's. I'm not positive yet, but it is seeming that the brushes do a better job after the ELB cools. Don't see any indication of . . . goo.

Testing the mouthpiece and the hydra tree.

The mouthpiece seems like it has less vapor but when I exhale, theres huge clouds. While with HT, you can really see vapor build up in the tube before huge clouds come out.

Both pieces hits me pretty cool not really big difference in the temperature.

I feel the vapor is more fresh and I can take more hits with the mouthpiece over the hydratree.

More experimenting!

Here, well with the HT and water you'll be able to take more vapor inside your lungs simply because its smoother...hence why you can take more hits from the mouthpiece and why you feel the HT has "more" vapor.

Is Canada considered international?

I've been hitting the tubes dry lately. I haven't tried adding water. I guess I've been used to dry vapor since I started vaping. WIll report back!

Ah ha, but have you tried using it dry with the hydratube?
I find the extra "drag" of the HT, even without any water, allows the vapor to build up real nice before clearing.

Ha, looks like I bought my cloud from Vapornation.com right when they sold out of their entire stock. So a new shipment came in yesterday and apparently* I'll be receiving tracking information later today. Seven days after purchase with no shipping confirmation makes me a sad panda... :(

Yup, I have been using the hydratube dry. Yes, you are correct about the build up. I'm stil adjusting to the mouthpiece. Before no time, hopefully I will figure out how to milk it

I live up here and I've been a happy owner for a couple months :)

I need to send my unit in though (across border). I have never cleaned the bamboo but it seems quite clean. Should I clean it anyway to be safe? How anal are they at the border? Would they ever do tests on my unit to see if there is a minute amount of "material" on it? It's not like I have nuggs in the package lol

First - yes I think you'll be ok. But, your comment raised a question for me - how do people clean the bamboo? I typically just use a qtip soaked with 91% ISO and I run the swap around the tip while inverted to avoid any getting inside. Anyone go further than that? I see some folks pictures throughout time and have seen some clouds with a yellowed Gong Joint - I personally want to avoid that at all costs.

I use an ISO prep swab, 70%, and my Honeybun to ream out the bamboo top section, clean the outside of the Bamboo, and top of the Cloud. Quick and easy, pretty much like the q-tip, but a little more convenient.

Inside the joint right below its lip, resin from the ELB accumulates and can eventually get very baked on. At that point, it can be very difficult to remove. Like t-dub, I use ISO to regularly clean the entire inside of the joint down to the aperture, paying extra attention to the resin ring. I got lazy and let it go for a time, and the resin wouldn't come off with ISO - had to use PBW.

Was that using 70%?
I would think a Q-tip agitation with 92-99% iso could get any vapor resin stain out?
