It's been 5 days with a new Cloud and sloth mode is fully enabled. 
I was half expecting to experience some sort of issue after reading some of the posts here, but there's been nothing but delicious blue vapor. This forum's motto is 'there is no best vaporizer' and while that remains true as ever, I'm quickly reminded of why this is MY favorite vaporizer. It is by far the most effortless, most pure, most enjoyable vapor experience that I've ever had.
When stonemonkey first started talking about this project it felt like a bunch of vapor enthusiasts putting together a wishlist for their dream vape. Three years is a long time in vape years and it makes enjoying this beautiful machine all the more satisfying. I know that a LOT of work went into reaching this point, so thank you for making that dream a reality. In my opinion we have reached a pinnacle of vaporization technology and it's fucking awesome.

Friday seems so far away! One of the many downsides of living in a non-medical state I suppose. Anyway, I picked up my cloud today, and all I can say is I'm already impressed. Perhaps its because I'm a glass noob, but my evolver hydratree is absolutely beautiful in person. It certainly ranks among the highest quality glass pieces I've encounter. I can't wait until I can finally take this baby on a test drive!

QUESTION:
Since the weather is getting cold, I have a question about the cool down process of the Cloud.
When it comes time for a Cloud session, I plug it in next to a window this way when I am vaping I can blow out the window, and when I am done I usually leave the cloud next to the window to cool down. But its starting to get cold out so I was wondering if it is wise to keep the Cloud next to the window while cooling down. Since I am in the Northeast, it gets pretty damn cold in the winter months, and don’t want to keep the Cloud next to the open window if I can damage it.
What do you think?

Well I am just asking because of the glass inside the Cloud, I am not worried about the metal. When glass is very hot then cooled down quickly it can crack.
I am talking anywhere from 0*f + It gets really cold here at night in the winter, and I dont want to place my Cloud in front of my window to cool down if it can damage it.

I guess my whole though process is wrong? Even though it doesn't cool down instantly, what if 0* air hit the 400* glass inside the Cloud...I guess that will be fine?

hot glass cold wind. don't know if that is a good combo. I was born in ct. I know how cold it can get. Personally I would not take the chance however small maybe some of the resident scientists or vapexhale should chime in.

If a gust of air blows at the joint or the slight piece of glass that hangs out the bottom I think you'll be fine. Now if it were that hot and ice cold water submerged the whole thing that's when I would be worried. But I doubt just blowing air will make that huge of a difference as the air may be cold but won't cause that much of a shock. I'm sure it heats up as it mixing with the ambient air and whatnot. If you so worried about it, don't put it by the window. So, when you take a hit just hold it in and run to the window. Problem solved!
Thermal shock is always something to consider with glass. You'll need to specify temperatures and times if you want a solid answer - I don't think a heated room with a window open in winter is likely to present a major concern - but if you want to be safe I think it's safe to say that the device and its glass should be allowed to reach room temperature slowly, before and after it is powered on/off. Same goes for many other devices.

I agree. Glass can withstand extreme cold. Where there is risk, it is proportionate to the temperature differential and the speed of contact. Personally I wouldn't want a just turned-off Cloud that had been at high temp to be hit by a strong gust of sub-zero icy wind coming off the St. Lawrence. What can cause glass to fracture is unevenness in how it internally changes temperature, which is why thin glass (like the Cloud's tube) is less prone than thick glass; thin glass distributes the temp more consistently and dissipates it faster, too. Which is to say, it would probably be the joint if anything that would be vulnerable. If you must keep it at an open window, you might fashion a container of some kind that would block direct air flow on to the unit. But also keep in mind that you could be stressing the glass - or internal components - over time. Personally I'd look for a way to avoid it.

so you leave the window open at night when its hitting 0 F? What's your electricity bill like? Like others said, I don't think it would be a major concern, but why not just set it on a table or close the window and set a fan near it if you are concerned.

I just got the best hit I ever got off of my cloud (SN#0939!) I loaded an ELB half full with some Tangerine Haze and I started with a really slow draw in my Mobius 65t, then I let out a little of the inhale and continued with a faster, firmer pull and really milked up the chamber good! Then I SLOWLY pulled my cloud out of the joint (to allow for maximum bubble stackage) and I was TRULY blown away!!! Still am a little after about 30 minutes!

You just figured out the EXACT way I love to use the cloud. That is precisely the technique I use. I might use a little more then half full maybe like 3/4th loosely packed. Same water pipe, technique, and everything. I hold my hit in for about 12-20 seconds and exhale. HEAVEN!
