How do I clean right under the lip of the joint? I remember oldie talking about this but I've tried iso, qtip, toothpick all unsuccessfully. It's not that bad, just a little amber, but I'd like to get it spotless as possible as I'm taking a protracted break and either storing or selling. It reminds me of an old eq cyclone bowl that went kinda yellow and was impossible to get clean again.

Hey SliM... I think you goofed up on those HT pictures. If you look at the perc section of both the VXC Showerdome, and the Evolver Hydracirc you will see it's the same photo, but photoshopped into one or the other. I remember the leaky ISO incident, so does that mean that the Evolver Hydracirc (showing the plugged ISO leak) is the true owner of that perc? I don't understand why they would show two different models with the same perc. I'm assuming this is a mistake? Or am I mistaken?

The Pelican 1400 is the perfect size IMO. I posted a picture of mine a while back. I'll look for the photo.

Here is an update on my Nanuk 920 project. I made it so the cord goes out through the bottom layer of foam, via a short slice and stores in the bottom of the case, then the top foam goes on in, all one piece, and finally the HT goes in.
The "pluck" foam was an OCD nightmare, but with proper stencil preparation etc, we made it

Nice case, Stu. And I like your case also, t-dub. A friend gifted me a Nanuk 945 for Christmas last year. It is brand new and I have been waiting to fill it with the Cloud and all the nice glass to come in the years ahead. I figure it should be able to hold a shit load of pieces. The thing is huge! Nicely made too. I think I like it better than Pelican's...personal opinion.

You can lock it from the outside with padlocks if you wanted to. Here's a pic of the outside.

I am not sure about that one... It actually has me confused now. I am pretty sure the stuff I photographed was the Evolver and the StoneGlassWorks.
You will have to forgive me I took a car trip to Portland and back so I am really tired. Traffic sucked so it was a 7 hour day in the car.
My guess is that stuff got mixed up on their site??? Maybe someone who knows more then me can answer? I am looking towards Tori or SM.

I think it is a very good size
One thing that is interesting is that you can get more pluck foam for like $15 so if I ever want to change it I can.- Interior Dimensions 15.0 x 10.5 x 6.2
- Exterior Dimensions 16.7 x 13.4 x 6.8
Optics Planet was cheaper but they can't deliver for 3 weeks.
