I am using this same method with my hydrabomb from dhgate with great success. As it also splashes a bit in the mouthpiece.

I was trying to post a picture that I took on my phone earlier for reference but I was having issues. I know the first post was confusing without a picture reference. Had to search the site to find instructions on how to get an image up....god I feel old. Anyways this is the picture I sent to VXL showing where I had the water level at. They told me I could go even lower.

Yeah you can go a little lower , mine fires fine and i am using it so my water level is right below the top of the perc. What i did was sit at the sink and every little drop i would pour out I'd inhale to see how i like that level and found a happy medium. Just tested it out and it works great! Too bad I have stuff to do the rest of the day. I would really like to just relax and test out the new tube. Weekend is almost here though!

Few more hours man than hopefully most of us are free. I'm glad it worked out for you. It's a nice tube. I did not get the real thing bc i am afraid to break it , but than again i have a ton of glass. I actually prefer hitting my Evo through my other glass and a adapter and whip , less dangerous for me and others. Same huge clouds , i break out the hydratubes usually when i use a nail or for the cool factor when some guests need there minds blown who have been heavy bong combustors for years . It usually does the trick.

I kinda wish I got the turbine.. The bomb is great.. Don't get me wrong I just have other pieces that give me similar diffusion. Think I might get a turbine or a grav labs mini tree or circ to go on top of my hydrabase. If you do get the turbine and don't like it, I have a bomb; feel free to pm me, don't want to break rules haha. but yeah I'd go turbine, you sound like you have and know your glass. The honeycomb is cool too, I've used one and the flavor is better than the bomb, it's just super hard to clean from what I hear.

I think DHgate is a wise choice far as glass. I just got an advertisement to get on the list to get the Symbiartic Water Tool for $450. Through Vapexhale. I usually don't spend a lot on any glass just because when you are medicated and handling glass that costs $450 - not a good combo.
i bought the Hydrobomb when it was on sale for $150. I would feel terrible if that broke.

Debating on the Symbiartic tube. Wondering what I could expect compared to a Hydrabomb, in terms of diffusion/etc. At $500, you could get a Volcano or plenty of Dhgate models. I prefer official goods and wanted to nab a LE tube, though.
I use mine at a desk and not much gets moved around. Better glass is less likely to break, too. Knocking over a Symbiartic would be very depressing, though.

That knock-off looks too janky. The perc isn't as polished as the actual Hydrabomb and it looks like the water chamber could be a bit bigger. You'll splash water into the mouthpiece. This alternative is better and almost half the price.

Hey guys,
after 3 days of INTENSE testing of my new Cloud EVO i have to say, I am MORE than impressed
Seems like i finally found THE vaporizer to suit my needs 100% . I am still overwhelmed by that super easy drag you have with the EVO. No other vaporizer that i have tested so far comes even close - it's so smooth for my lungs.
The extraction power of the EVO is incredible. I prefer to load small amounts of herb for single hits. When having dialed in the proper temperature (in my case: max ) my rig milks immediately and it provides one excellent tasting, big hit. Also tried layering kief between herb, the sandwich-method worked awesome, too. Incredible, how quick the EVO extracted everything. Too bad, I haven't any concentrates around, but since I am not having any hydratubes at the moment, I can live with that.
On the other hand, i have 4 strains of herb to choose from and i have been really enjoying hitting one ELB after another (for scientifical reasons of course, 3 days of serious EVO-testing
) , not sure if I could have done so with nails and oil haha
Some questions:
1. I have several ELBs around, which seem to be too big for the glass-joint. Is there a way to smaller them a little so that they fit and not break? I'm afraid I will damage these when trying to make them fit.
2. I still have to bump the temp to max to get coffee-brown ABV even when the unit is completely heat-soaked. Is this normal? I mean - it's perfect the way it is, don't think I ever have to fear combustion, but I thought I would have some headroom available when vaping herb?
3. this might be a stupid question: I am completely not up-to-date when it comes to vapexhale related glass. Is there any chance to purchase a swagger side circ or side tree hydra tube? I know that these models are unavailable here in Europe, but I have a friend in the US who could purchase for me. Completely don't know if these hydra tubes are also not available for US customers, could you enlighten me ?

In my opinion, the EVO is great for concentrates, but ultimately awesome for herbs. IMO not equaly good at both (but also not bad at any), it's just that how it handles herbs is pretty impossible to compete with.
If its possible, you can try slowly and carefully get them in and wait. And do it on a fully heated EVO on max temp. The high temp couldslight expand the glass and maybe make the ELB more maleable to adapt faster. If you have more male joint, you can try them first, ideallly if you had one that you could fit almost easily, then when it adapt, move on to a tighter one and so on.
It can be normal. The EVO extracts so fast that the herb can't even finish caramelizing to the brown color before you're done extracting. High temps can make that faster, but on lower temps, you usually need to take few more hits even when it doesn't give you anything at all anymore to make it brown. Try it!
Circs and trees are the previous generation, so you can't get them anymore diretly from vapexhale as there are no new ones being made. Some retailers can have some left in stock (but HTs alone are very expensive) or you could be lucky and get someone to sell theirs to you. Also, some outdated vapexhale glass has already been copied, so you could get cheap remakes of these if you search.
