Unless a bunch of people need to hit it back-to-back,
Have you tried cranking to 4 to 6 and hitting right away? Then dial back? That concept works perfectly for me on lower temps
^^^^ this works perfectly and has you blowing thick clouds in only a couple minutes.

That's weird because the shutoff on mine is one hour and I think that is the standard. I've never heard of a thirty minute timer for this vape. That would drive me crazy.

And how long did it take to warm up? Mine takes about four or five minutes to get to max temp, which is normal for a decent desktop vape. Now my old Cloud took longer, but my Evo is pretty darn quick!
for me the heat up was well past 10 minutes to get decent vapor, I dont know why but maybe its just my unit(?). I loved the volcano mainly for the bags, never used to love them much but after trying a volcano at a dispensary I fell in love instantly! My problem is I get way too forgetful when I am high and forget to switch the VX Evo off and on to keep it going. It was a sick vape but with a muad'dib and firefly the volcano will be great for my collection. Also it was a bitch to use the vapexhale in a group setting, I always have friends over and it just never works out nicely.

We must travel in different circles because my friends come to my place for the Evo.

I willl try this, thanks!

As for the portible, I'm very curious to what this company might bring out. I love my solo, but nothing compares to the evo as far as the vapes I've tried, can't speak for the other vapes.

It's an obsession but it's pleasin'
I looked for other HydraTubes, and I found these by Grav Labs, out of Texas. Grav doesn't sell directly so I requested prices and availability from AquaLabs, one of their authorized distributors. Prices to follow...

I ordered my EVO in October and received the Grav Labs circ. I assumed I'd be getting Swagger glass since I ordered directly from VXL and thought that's what was pictured. I contacted VXL support and was told that I'd ordered a "VXL Sidecirc kit". When I looked at the website no such thing existed anymore.

I'm not sure what actually happened there but I'm fine with the Grav Labs sidecirc. One thing to be aware of is that there is a slight air leakage around the female joint when used with the EVO. VXL support told me they designed it that way intentionally to prevent joint lock. Not so sure about that, but it works okay and I can set it down on the large base without a hydrafoot.

So agree. They have to really work this and if it takes a year then people may just move on.

Stu - you really made me laugh.

Fun reading this am

If it takes a year, two years, or three years and it ends up being innovative and as good as i hope, people will certainly buy it. Dont expect VX to rush the portable to the market. It isnt their style. They will stay in r and d and beta test before release, something that takes time. I love the fact that VX will do their homework for years and DO NOT rush products onto the market in effect not making first buyers into paying beta testers like my experience with other companies such as 7th Floor (LSV)

I read some post or article that said the portable might come out in 1 year, but nothing in the immediate future.

Yeah well my side circ locked on me. I tried to use my side circ w a brand new ED Wood adapter for the solo and then couldn't get the 2 apart. For the amount of money spent it should not have done this. So now I'm hearing that exhale knew about this problem. That doesn't make me feel any better.

@LongIslandmom - The company is VapeXhale. The product is the Cloud EVO. There is no "xhale". I'm not sure what you were doing pairing a wooden adapter with VXL glass but they do put a taper in there to prevent joint lock with the EVO. Your situation sounds like user error may have contributed so either get with VXL and get it resolved or stop posting about it. Glass is a variable product made by artisans. If you have a quality issue tell them and get it resolved.

but the fact the evo is on the same level of power as the volcano there is no reason as to why its any different. Love the photo but there are just too many cords and its too big of a device to just pass around in an apartment. I cant move it easily to my tv room without bringing a whole bunch of accessories along with it. Especially when people want to hit it multiple times its frustrating that the whole device must be passed along just for a hit. That and even with a whip attachment it was a giant mess.

Just got my first set of concentrate bowls today. Lucky for me, im working from home tomorrow so may have a chance to test later in the afternoon once most if my workload is out of the way, and have made some outbound calls. Cant beat getting paid while vaping.

Yes you mean Phils place in CA? My husband wants to go so bad. I pack the solo and exhale real nice before the grateful dead hour.

Oh my bad I mean the evo since I don't want say it wrong and get reprimanded on he thread.

And yes I love my evo and my D020 bubbler!!

Long time lurker here.

I just got my evo yesterday and I've made several attempts at contacting vapexhale's support since then. Zero response. I was told on another forum that they had a chat line, but I can't find it.

The dial on my evo is incredibly loose and cheap feeling. I've owned high-end audio equipment and am used to some resistance on these things. Is this common? Something to worry about with regards to reliability? It also clicks into position at the mid-point, which should presumably be at 12 o'clock, but on my unit is at about 12:30. This combined with the looseness doesn't fill me with confidence for this product.

So you have contacted multiple times in less than 24hrs? Be patient, they will contact you back in a reasonable timeframe you just need to give them the opportunity.

How does it work?

Whats the deal with quartz nail stock? I haven't seen any in stock in a while, but I only started checking recently because I'm down to my last 2 nails. 1 quartz 1 normal.

How on earth do I let these break? Unfortunately they get very sticky, and my floor is hard where the set up is. Sometimes the top of a nail will stick to skin or the adapter, then fall, bounce break.. :( I could prevent this better with a more expansive set up of course

Or more frequent cleaning? Or maybe you are hitting it too hard and the oil is rising to the top?
