My first vape (a Ceramic Rock Zap) treated me very well, but due to babysitting a friend's nice glass, I've picked up a nasty combustion habit again. I'm thinking that maybe a nice, new vaporizer that can deliver thick clouds may be the best bet to get me back to the light.
Couple of questions (I apologize if covered already - I tried searching the thread and read the most recent few pages):
1. What's the current approximate delivery time for an EVO ordered from the Vapexhale website with standard shipping to domestic US? Are these in stock with the manufacturer or is there a backlog?
2. Are there any current coupon codes for free shipping, accessories or the like? I saw there was a code on the original cloud thread for some extra ELBs but don't think it's current. Came really close to ordering an EVO with the basic swagger HT and was hoping I could keep it under $500 but $25 shipping killed that and made me think twice.
Was looking at an SSV but I'm awfully tempted to try the EVO! Sounds like I would be very, very happy with the EVO but have to think about the cost-benefit vs. the SSV.

Curious on people's thoughts on the Barrel HT? Also, any links for botanicals until VXL releases theirs? I watched the interview with SM55 (dude, you are articulate and intelligent and your answers were perfect!) and his comments on the botanicals really raised my stoke!

Ok let me just say the torus perc is an epic choice, reminds me of the EFS gridded doughnut, but I still feel I should play devil's advocate:
From the perspective of the buyer looking to get the most for his money, you're going to pay a lot more for a hydrafoot 2.0 + a hydratube than you would if you just put the money towards a nice tube

I have a few different pieces to place atop the EVO, but the only reason I would want The HF 2.0 is to do dabs through my Gordo Scientific Recycler HT. I do not want any extra percolation and if I want to invert my EVO I just use a bubbler. If I had a HT as my only piece of glass then I would definitely be interested in a HF 2.0 because it opens up more options on how to use the glass.

Wow! With a HC2.0 and Vertigo HT (which is perfect to put on top of modular tubes) and two mouthpieces - this new HF2.0 would enable a ton of new possiblities! Also I only have one hydrafoot now, so i can use them both and separately with stability. So that looks like my dream piece. The price is good too!
Compared to the Devastator I like the switched joints. So the heavy double HT would sit on top of the base and the lightweight EVO can go on that side stemless joint. I couldn't be worried about the glass in this setup. IMO the Devastator was better fit for the heavy OG Cloud and less Hytratubes - not for me.
So enough of good news, too bad I'm too broke for that now
. After buying the OG Cloud and preordering the EVO it will take some time until I save 200$ do sepnding again. This summer maybe?? I hope this piece or something equivalent (or even better?) is going to be available at that time. Right now I have invested 1000$ in the VXL and have no unit (but a lot of glass). I would even trade all the glass for an EVO (and feel a lot of remorse later lol because it's soooo bad idea).My choices now:
Vertigo HT
short mouthpiece
long mouthpiece
HC2.0 + short
HC2.0 + long
HC2.0 + HT
Added possiblities:
HC2.0 + HT separately on two hydrafeet to choose from
HF2.0 + short
HF2.0 + long

And one nit-pick here: It's called a torus perc. I don't see any torus there. The perc looks more like a cylinder. Tori have holes in the middle of them.

Does anyone else's EVO give off a hot electronic smell from the top of the bamboo? I feel like sometimes I smell it more than others.
