I was cleaning my HT Circ today. Holding tightly thinking of each of the poor souls who have broken theirs in the last 2 weeks. I keep my noggin on and didn't break it. Very unlike me. I did notice that water can go into the bottom chamber. I know it is not to be high enough that it can go down into Evo, but am I supposed to be putting water in both top and bottom chambers of the Circ?

No, only in the top chamber, the bottom chamber is where the splashguard is and will hold "some" water to prevent it from going into the EVO.

Just follow this

I saw the Hydraline was taken off of the website. Is it discontinued or is it just currently not available?

My EVO is wending its way back from the forge from whence it came, after merely a few days. As you may remember, I clumsily knocked My Precious off a table on to tile floor and broke my bamboo. Wow. That was fast. Is this the best company, or what?

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy.

...the venturi effect increases the air temp (pressure) without effecting the measureable heat of the unit.

The pressure increases (and temperature increases) at the narrow points in a Venturi-Bernouli flow, then decreases again at the widening.

By definition; "The Venturi effect is the reduction in fluid pressure that results when a fluid flows through a constricted section of pipe."

When carburetor icing happens, heat is being transferred. Check your thermodynamics. Heat does not vanish; it is only shifted.

The carburetor reference was in regards to ~> "Carburetor icing occurs when there is humid air, and the temperature drop in the venturi causes the water vapor to freeze."

Not trying to argue, and I'm always open to being wrong (& learning). It seems as though you are stating the precise opposite of what I understand to be fact. Am I missing something fundamental, misunderstanding you, both? lol!

Nooooooooooo. Replaced with Swagger Turbine I think. Doh :-(. I eventually wanted one, just never had the funds.

HydraLine should be back in stock in a couple of weeks. Right after the Cannabis Cup :) maybe even before!

All I want to know is, why did they replace Gia with this dude?

I agree, this dude is NOOOOO GIA!!!!!

Currently no EvolverCircs but we have SwaggerCirc in stock.

PapaMonkey has been a little bit slow on developing the botanicals. He's been traveling a bit more than usual over the last three months but I'll update you guys when I meet with him.

I'm definitely digging that $15 case that was linked a few pages back!! It's probably the best $15 I've spent, since it protects pretty much everything. Great for the price. Thank you, to whoever it was that first posted it!
Nice case!

Here's the link:
I have a Nanuk 930. Also highly recommended.

For a low-cost alternative, take a look at the Plano 1404 Gun Case, here:

I've got to say that I absolutely love the splashguard. I change my water and ice frequently enough where I would say the bottom splashguard holds a "lot" of water (relatively) to prevent it from going into the EVO. I'm not saying to push the limit on this, but when I got the straight neck HT I was worried about the ice pinch and the effect of the ice melting adding to the water level. This worry was quickly dismissed as I loaded the ice pinches full with ice at least three times with the ice melting and without emptying the water. I still wasn't too worried about it overflowing at this point, I just wanted to change the water.

Anyways, it's been a long day and I've been meaning to post about the EVO. I always rant when I post. It's just my nature. I'll try to be brief as I can, but I've had a few beers as well. I posted a little while back debating what I'd do with my Cloud and my EVO in terms of which I'd keep. I ended up keeping both, but the Cloud has had no use since I've gotten the hang of the EVO. I made cuts in other areas where I can afford to keep the Cloud as an amazing backup. VAS cured.

TLDR: The splashguard works very well for the way I use my HT and I love my EVO and Cloud.

I understand exactly where you're coming from. As much as I love my new Evo, the thought of selling my OG Cloud has never even crossed my mind. Heaven forbid, if I need a backup it's good to know that I'm covered.

And I've had a few beers, too.

Hi guys,

I've been going through the 2 threads, maybe I missed it, but has anybody posted a picture of an Early Bird Straight HT ? I am an international IGG which still waits for his unit :-)

Any thoughts about Early Bird Straight vs Bent in terms of airflow resistance ?

I'll do you one better than a pic. Here's a recent vid of my Early Bird Straight HT, with ice, but using my Ticker Cloud:

I haven't used the bent-neck version so can't opine on the difference. But I can say I dig this HT much. Airflow is great. A bit more drag than my Evolver Hydracirc, but not too much more. Lovely piece, it is.
