In addition to @macbill's response to @voyciz here on disabling the auto-shutoff timer, http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapexhale-cloud-evo.11357/page-782#post-1444227, let me add that the VapeXhale EVO warranty specifically mentions that this action will void the warranty. Just an FYI.
@grogazola, the EVO is a great end game vape worth considering. For cleaning @VegNVape gives good feedback. Make sure any cleaning on the EVO is done once the unit is cold-cold. As some know, when hot it's no bueno. I myself in over a year of EVO ownership have simply ISO swabbed out the upper bamboo to clean my EVO and that's all it's needed. And I'm a clean fan , I clean my ELBs and glass weekly and perfectly (PBW, ultrasonic cleaners, etc). Clean vapor is awesome.
Those interested in a more thorough cleaning can use the search function in this thread. I know one of the preferred methods is to keep and use the red oem bamboo plugs, and use them to fill and soak the bamboo with hot iso/PBW (as mentioned by @terry420); that method is popular and proven effective for deep bamboo cleaning. This will not void your warranty. Disassembly of the EVO will void the warranty.
@terry420, I suspected you just needed to dial in the your settings for the EVO. Great to hear . There's a lot of settings talk here and that's great to compare and discuss, but one should always find their own preferred settings first on the EVO... and then play from there.
You sound like a strong extractor fan... and the EVO can totally deliver that, there are a number of suggested one-hitter full extraction settings earlier in this thread and worth a search.
That's a great backstory on your EVO history, thumbs up .
I too love the EVO for concentrates . I've dialed in a very nice EVO concentrates method and experience, it's a little different from yours but we're probably in the same range for vapor quality. I do 12:30 on the dial (a little hotter) but I do a larger rice grain size... or even a bit more. It shows how flexible the EVO is and that one can really dial in their own optimal experience. Definitely share the success stories. The low dose feedback is ... the EVO is an excellent consistent powerful extraction machine.
It's great to hear from the longer term EVO owners @audiodelic, @VegNVape, @ataxian, @macbill, @Baron23, @His_Highness, and more that I've missed. I find this thread is a great mix of new-to-old EVO users, excellent stuff . It's great to hear more EVO owner feedback and this thread busy. Excellent stuff again.
I'm back on the EVO and loaded today here, haha . Earlier I ground up some fresh quality Golden Goat for the EVO and then realized I had some leftover herb from last night in the grinder too . I finished that combo grind after two small ELBs this Sunday afternoon ; it was excellent. And my EVO routine feels like the most ol' comfy shirt . Quality vaping .
