Another enjoyable Saturday with the EVO . Yesterday was a big experience again with the EVO. Today I'm relaxing more and started with a small ELB of Acapulco Gold flower. There was no visible vapor so it was light (but still potent for no vapor). And I've recently followed that with a bit of Blue Dream. Visible vapor this time and great flavors . The EVO delivers an excellent experience :luv:.

Last night I enjoyed some more Golden Goat, a highly regarded sativa lean strain. I mentioned I got a great batch earlier. Check it out :leaf:.

Here's another EVO hash video from that guy I just posted about . Vaping three different hashes :freak:. Enjoy.

Cheers and have a great weekend with the EVO :peace::leaf:.

Golden Goat is a dope strain. Clears your mind quickly.

Was checking in since I have a few buddies who own an EVO. They all said the same thing as above about accessories. when I showed them the type of accessories NewVape puts out constantly, they were pretty jealous.

For the amount of people that own this vape, it's insane how little they release for it. Just not good support IMO, and that's a huge purchase factor for me. When a company comes out with nice accessories and even revises their products thoughtfully, it's a different level of quality.

Hope they change their tune, as it seems like a nice vape. I also don't view CANtalk as a shill, and this is my first time seeing his posts. He just seems super enthusiastic about this vape and vaping in general, and is trying to bring some life to this thread.

I also find it funny that Vapexhale doesn't release more accessories. And as much as I hate to say this.. I'm not too thrilled about some of the business decisions they have made as of late such as eradicating all the classic hydratubes leaving us only with precision. I also hate the the fact they removed all clear glass options and left us with nothing but Graphite. Finally, I hate the fact that they discontinued the hydrabases.

As much as I love this vape and Seibo, I don't like these decisions.

I was going to buy a Lynx until they made it only available in graphite...

Happy EVO weekend everyone ! Hey ya'll, hope everyone is well :).

I want to thank @macbill, @readyman, @Socks And Sandals, @Chicken Charlie, @pxl_jockey, @calimac, @His_Highness, @abracadaver and @pakalolo for their feedback :peace: (and anyone else I may have forgot).

@Robobuddah, great to have you here and posting ... impressive feedback, enjoy the EVO and let us know how it goes :peace:. @Baron23 helped me out as well with his honest feedback, he's a great open-minded evaper with lots of experience . The EVO is very powerful and flexible so share your methods and techniques in use. The EVO is an end-game vape option and so is the Flowerpot. Each has their own unique advantages and disadvantages. If the flowerpot burn/fire hazard is of little issue to you and you have VAS and the budget, then then by all means go for it :2c:. Find the vape that best suits you... there have have been many owners of both the EVO and Flowerpot... with split feedback on preferences. It's great to have choice and there are a number of excellent top end and end game premium vape options available .

I'm late here to the thread this weekend but still enjoying the EVO experience :science: . Enough so I didn't get around to posting earlier :freak:. I continue to enjoy quality flower with the ELB and some concentrates with the VapeXnail. A friend visited this weekend and it was nice. He's a combuster of high cannabis volumes with torch banger experience and really enjoys concentrates in my EVO. I set him up with two nails of wet low temp draws of strong sativa shatter and it delivered :freak: (he coughed a bit each time). I'm using clean glass again this week, but I broke another glass nail stupidly dropping it with a multitasking hold  :shit:. What a stupid way to lose a VapeXnail so use my experience to your benefit :bang:. I've had to order some new boro glass nails for the EVO which will be here early next week.

@readyman, your feedback here on the EVO thread has been great and I'm interested in how things go as you continue to settle in and experiment .

@Socks And Sandals, great post and info there. It's great to hear back from you and I really appreciate it... I see these posts about the journey and how we're sharing it (of vaping... and life). Many thumbs up. Others seem to view posts as some sort of gladiator sport :mental:.

And the EVO thread has picked up .

set the evo on 3 oclock load a basket with kief and flower so far this combo is the closest to bong and fire I find I dont have a new volcano hybrid looks like that might do the same but mv1 tera3 extreme q good vapes but not the EVO have a great weekend
Great feedback keep us in the loop. I'm still feeling kief out myself and an always looking for advice. I mix flower and kief with 'some' regularity in the EVO, but not a lot and I haven't really pushed the kief vaping amount-wise. My four piece Zeus Bolt Grinder has lots of kief so I'm looking forward to indulging :whoa:.

With the EVO accessory posts here I find in my experience it has generally been quite good so far. There are probably 20+ direct hydratube options available for the EVO and many more indirect bong options when connecting separately, plus wooden decks, whips, dry/wet mouthpieces, silicone mats, silicone ELB/nail holders (orbit), manufacturer and third party ELBs, nails (quartz and boro), cleaning tools, loading tools, storage cases, different covers, etc, etc. Part of what drew me to the EVO has been it's very impressive and broad ecosystem support. I don't see a big Flowerpot advantage there, both have undergone running updates and both have a number of different options available for each vape.

That reminds me, I'd love to get some help from owners here in figuring out how to pick up a number full glass connector pieces to use a separate water piece (hydrabase) with the EVO, side by side :sherlock:. I've seen it here and know it can be done but any help for glass source and piece info will be very helpful. I'm thinking of these DHgate glass pieces, and want to hook up the separate hydrabase water bong to the EVO with only glass pieces, adapters and attachments. Any help is appreciated. https://www.dhgate.com/product/glass-vapexhale-hydratube-wiith-tree-perc/411413260.html. What do others think?

I also find it funny that Vapexhale doesn't release more accessories. And as much as I hate to say this.. Ya, while I just mentioned my experience so far with EVO accessories has been good over the last year or so, and there's been a long history of product availability and changes, the most recent VapeXhale offerings are really lacking and crappy (lot of OOS, out of stock) :uhh:. Most glass is not available and a lot of other products are not available on their website. I've seen the availability of EVO accessories wax and wane in the last year and there's not much now currently again but that's still unacceptable for how barren things are right now :hmm:. Availabilities have been cyclical before on the EVO site and I'm hoping it's JIT (just in time) inventory issues that will be addressed soon, I guess we'll see.

I want to see more new products released for the EVO from VapeXhale too. There should be some new and different hydratubes made available again (different sizes too), plus hydrabases. The next few months should be interesting and telling on this front. Even the social media presence of VapeXhale has really dropped off . Bring back the VapeXhale presence and offerings that this community is used to.
Thx for all the feedback and any help. Cheers and have a great EVO weekend :peace::leaf:.

Months after I received my EVO from the Indiegogo campaign, I purchased a very expensive, Swagger hydratube off of VapeXhale. The bottom was too thin and broke in the very 1st week of ownership. I was too new to glass, and I believed VapeXale reply that it wasn't thin glass that caused the breakage, but incautious usage: I twisted the tube slightly while removing from the hydrafoot. Swagger never bothered to respond to my emailed photo and query.

The point of my story is, for the same amount of money, had Chinese hyradatubes existed, I could have bought 13 hydratubes.

But, and it is aesthetics mostly, that chinese glass is so ugly. UGLY ..

Anyone have hydrabase feedback? Do you use it much? With a whip? I too like the US glass quality over the Chinese offerings I'm aware of, but US glass is pretty expensive. I remember reading that Chinese glass often isn't annealed very well which can result in less durability. Still, the EVO Chinese glass options are priced low and appealing.

Ouch @macbill on that Swagger hydratube . That was definitely a nice low production premium US glass piece. It should have been covered imo and I hope no one lets that kind of early failure and issue slidein the future. US sellers need to stand behind their expensive products. I remember reading that breaks like that can be fixed by a good glass blower, have you looked into that? It would be worth it to fix that hydratube.

Sorry for some bad grammar in my earlier post :\, running edits to it mangled a few sentences.

I got a package of new borosilicate VapeXnails (mentioned the order recently) and low and behold, these tubes are notably wider again :hmm:. I mentioned this variability here before and have no idea what's going on. The difference is significant enough imo that the performance (heat up time) of the nail will be affected in use with the EVO. This is yet another variable in using the EVO that I've observed, so just a heads-up for people trying to dial in their EVO methods, techniques and settings.

Hey guys, what's your favorite bubbler which 'milks' up? I have a normal 14mm hydrotube you'll find everywhere, but I was looking and trying to decide. Would you pick the

Hydra

Calyx

Or Lynx?

The others look good but I'm trying to find something portable but 'milks' up.

Thanks guys :)

Yeah, I'd really like to know if those hydrabases come back into stock. I own a classic Hydrabomb and precision Turbine (in pic) and I am even more careful with my glass now than ever simply because I'm not a fan of the graphite glass pieces. Before I was just worried about my Classic getting broke and having to settle for a precision but to be honest, I love the precision too even though I mainly bought it for use with concentrates!

I've been busy with my new Dynavap Omni XL too but I always have 2 baskets in my evo every night! Flavor and and ABV consistency are always on point and it's very easy to tell when your load is done.. that' would be around 1:30 (around 395F) on my new Evo.

I really don't understand why the thread died down so much.. glad to see some new guys sharing their stories.

Oh and I would also really like to hear from Evo owners about their hydrabase experiences.. How much of a stronger pull do you need? Is the extra diffusion really worth it? ETC..

Never got any big hydratube from VXH ... the price is stupid for me (u can buy vapes for that price...) when i purchase my unit i went for the cheaper bundle, and only with the straight MP.... after i got the original Lynx and Hydra and later when i broke the Hydra i got the Calix... mainly i use the Calix and a Bong i got for the G43, only though of getting DHL hydratubes ripoffs, its not USA glass but its glass so if its not unbreakable the cheapest the better because eventually it will break....
I mainly use the EVO for dry herbs @12 o clock, im a flavour chaser, getting messy and dirty with the Xnails and concentrates is almost certain and i only get pure flavour if you nail is clean so i use a SAI ou a Puffco Plus for oils and concentrates.
The EVO its a wonderful device, its my N1 desktop and the one i use the most at home, love the flavour the ease to use and the constant steady results every time.
My arsenal contains the EVO, G43, Mighty, Crafty, IQ, SAI TAF, Puffco Plus and Linx Hypnos Zero.
Cheers

Do any of you use your EVO inverted or mainly stick with the HT's? There were issues a couple of years back with inverted usage and odours/tastes and the lack of a sealed seam on the bottom and curious if that's all just in the past. Any of your EVO's have a slight gap in the bottom plastic.

Really wish they were made of metal like the old Clouds with the beefier heater. Miss my old clicking Cloud! Maybe one day..

Calyx vs Lynx? Mostly to be used on a Tubo Evic and Splintr types. Which feels better to use or 'milks' better?

I do. It depends on what glass pieces I have out. For example, if all I have out is my Möbius Matrix, I'll invert the EVO. Out of all my hydratubes, I use the Swagger mini-circ the most. Probably the biggest thing for me, however, is realizing most all hydratubes can be laid down horizontally without leaking. I have a tendency to break things, and this ability helps me keep my hydratube safer (from me).

U mean Calix or Hydra, these 2 are mouthpieces the Lynx is not a mouthpiece. but from all of them i choose the original Calix (its not graphite)... i rather have the Helio than the straight MP.
The Lynx they sell now is a lot smaller than the OG Lynx.

My main use is not inverted and ill use it with the Calix, whip with Lynx, solo whip, or a whip and a Bong lololol.

Woah! You just blew my mind! I had no idea that was even possible. However, I don't like the new gen of HT's... I miss the old school Cloud days of the straight HT's that were super thick glass.

I have a tendency to break things, and this ability helps me keep my hydratube safer (from me).

Haha, you and I both!

I'm with bio, I didn't know that either! Now I want to run home and try it to see if it works work them all!

Cracked my bamboo and cannot get a replacement it seems because I live in Massachusetts. FML. Fuck my local government for hastily banning vaporization. Charlie Baker would prefer i combusted. IDIOT teens vaping street trash extracts or big tobacco juice so i can’t consume legal cannabis in a objectivity healthier way. Im HEATED.

Seems like the war on vapor has claimed an innocent bystander. Mass is literally forcing me to combust or quit. Never mind the ~$1k worth of now useless money I've spent on the evo and accessories. Still had over 2 years left on the warranty too.

@O-G-Reg Do you have any friends in nearby States? Use their address as a "In Care Of" and have them re-send it to you.

Swagger is still around. I wonder if they would do a limited run of a hydratube style for a group of vapor enthusiasts?

=====================================================

For those who like to invert the EVO, I find this Glass "Y" handy. I buy a glass stopper, and use it as a carburetor.

I got one of those water pieces but i rather use the whip to connect with the Evo, i think its unnatural to use it like that and the risk of breaking the bamboo or water piece higher i guess.... but i like to use it with a water piece so i can see and control the clouds

Before my bamboo broke an my evo became a bookend, I used a 4 dollar adapter from DHG to use with glass rigs/bongs. I don't like leaving it on inverted. Too much stress on the glass and more vapor will traverse up the bamboo out the bottom, overtime gunking it up.

+1 for not inverting....and using mostly dry. I'm a flavor chaser.....
