^^ dislike, brother! that looked like a beautiful piece! I love that stem on the perc.
Given that I combusted a couple of times with hi temps I doubt max temp is 225C. I think more 250/270C.. Is it even possible?
ahhh shit , that was a nice 1 , RIP... Sorry buddy , i think it's time for something new.@lazylathe I broke my BUBBLER for my EVO?
I had my session DRY with my EVO.
6 year old SHERLOCK @Justpassedu haven't broke this one? (used upside down)
I felt like a joint?
Level 3 (high I know however) = CIVILIZED
Back to 1:00 tomorrow if I make it?
I'm going to break everything in my collection.i think it's time for something new.
guys I'm pretty sure the nails get hotter regardless of where the dial is set because they are lower in the EVO that's why it works as a hybrid device.I think you are correct...I have recently seen reference to noon on the dial being 177c, and 5:00 being 260c which makes sense since it is a hybrid flower/concentrate vape.
Have the Herbal Blends on VXL's website EVER been available? I remember it was excuse after excuse with their previous Cloud when I asked about them, but who have figured they would have been released by now, since it's been what, 3 years? lol
Yeah, they fool everyone.I think all of these products have lots of herbs listed to make it look like it's for stuff other than weed. I saw another vape website that had like, 15 or 20 different herbs you can vaporize listed.
I have the bomb edition but really you're asking between minimum and maximum diffusion. Do you want to get the most flavor from 8 single tubes or do you want tones of bubbles from the honeycomb? That's really the difference.Hey, considering getting either the Hydrabase Octa or Honey edition. Anyone have experience with either? Are they worth it? Anyone with first hand experience?

£329 by itself before discount codesUk evo owners.....
Vapefiend now has the new heat shields and incycler..
Cant find the incycler directly, but it's +280 quid ontop of the evo price, instead of 90 quid for a normal tube....
I have the Octa which I pair with the Hydrabomb. It is a very nice piece. I get great results with the Evo and the Grasshopper by using the Octa wet and the bomb dry.Hey, considering getting either the Hydrabase Octa or Honey edition. Anyone have experience with either? That sounds about right. I favor volume over density so I love my Evo but the GH is a great vape. Apples and oranges.Just curious what you think of your EVO vs GH @Southern Chef. I have recently fallen hard for my GH, and have a brand new EVO on its way. I don't think that the EVO can match the GH's vapour density perhaps, especially under 1g? But the EVO has way more volume of vapour.... does that sound about right?
They are sold out. But Vapexhale doesn't seem shy about what most users plan to use it for.I think all of these products have lots of herbs listed to make it look like it's for stuff other than weed. I saw another vape website that had like, 15 or 20 different herbs you can vaporize listed.
@ataxian I looked at the right side of this pic and was wondering how it was even standing like that, I mean if you look at the glass right above here ^^^ The bottom isn't even setting on the tile at 90 degrees. OR is this some visual trick? Oh wait it's balanced on the Arizer.
Nice pic. And it explains the type of problem that I thought I was having with the #2 EVO. When I tipped it upside down, there was a small amount of sliding motion on the inside plus I figured that the element was not touching the glass entirely. Mentioned that and a few other possible probs that was causing it to misbehave. I am curious about the internals of all vapes and their designs and like all EVO internal pics, even more so.No, no its not normal. The pic below will give you an idea of how the bamboo and heater fit together. This pic is one of four that I have never released before. As you can see the heater is "beefy" as I have previously stated and the fit is supposed to be somewhat "tight".
Is it OK to write FUCK?"Congratulations your unit is back from the Vape Doctor".
So, Just got my EVO returned from the 'Vape Doctor'. Came back with the red caps covers and a free ELB inside the socket! Now I'm back to 10 working ELBs in my rotation again.
Also got a business card telling me that it was serviced by Colleen. Thank you Colleen, wherever you are.
After allowing my unit to get closer to room temperature for a full hour, I tested the indicators first. It does stay cold for a long period on it's own, especially after being stored in a delivery truck in Feb winter where I'm at. And there is a shut off feature that will not allow the EVO to heat up if it is below a certain temprature. So as to not have heat shock to near frozen glass.
Preheating it earlier. Trying it now. <cough> <cough>? Works great! So essentially, I bought a used EVO, Paid apx 12.00 to have it shipped to PA. And it returned working better than my DD and with a new ELB sitting in the socket waiting to be tested out. I'm guessing anyway.
So they received it Feb 8th and it came back yesterday. That is less than a week of turnaround time. The bamboo looks different than I remember it. Wonder if it got replaced or reseated. I knew it needed to be reseated.
They are sold out. But Vapexhale doesn't seem shy about what most users plan to use it for.
I prefer to get these herbal blends on my own anyway. (part of FC's ethnobotanical thread.)There are a few single 'teas' listed that I haven't tried individually. So I will borrow their ideas.

Not prying, Someone mentioned your condition earlier. So I'm thinking that much more how to have a clutz free setup where I'm at and pass that on. My desk space is a consideration.
You might want a flat shock absorbent space on that tile surface to help with things sliding on that smooth tile. And to keep things with a large footprint that much more stable. Not necessarily more things to add clutter. Just a mat setup and something under neath that to have more stability with shock and perhaps heat absorption. Silicone mats can be rolled up and taken to a sink for cleaning as one example.
I'll get around to posting a pick of my setup. Just saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of glass. I have saved myself with adapters being dropped or prevented from rolling off the table with the mat I have. It has a raised lip which is great for liquid spills and anything cylindrical from completely rolling off.
Broke way too many glass pipes on tiles and concrete back in the day and also later when I was new with Gong. Found certain designs of adapters lend themselves to breaking. But now I have two working EVO's ATM and knew I had to take a civics class with glass and get CIVILIZED before the EVO and HT arrived. So glad I got to know the in's and out's of RMAing and Vapexhales's rep before buying one, then two EVO's.
I feel very CIVILIZED not stressing that my #2 EVO went to the V.D. while my DD was being used at home. Imaging owning one and having the worry as a first time buyer, then having it sent to the manufacturer.

Have an even better idea of how it was meant to be disassembled and reseated and enclosed. So the heating element is meant to be a short distance below the socket.
Well umm.. prepare accordingly? I'll take the EVO over combustion any day! FUCK COMBUSTION!Is it OK to write FUCK?
The EVO will FUCK YOU!
I have a lot of glass stuff.Well umm.. prepare accordingly? I'll take the EVO over combustion any day! FUCK COMBUSTION!
Can you write FUCK at the fuckcombustion site? Yes! As long as YOU are doing the same to combustion.
Have you considered a silicone bong as a back up? I have some slit downstems that might be happy to pair with one of these tube style withthe extra grip.
I'm wondering if I should send my other EVO to get calibrated at some point?
I have pushed 3:00 and combusted and thankfully can quick clean my HT with PBW, ISO and citric acid and warm water with time. Also on the FC PBW thread for more info and tricks.I combusted for the 2nd time on my Evo last night, dial at 3. I knew I was pushing it but I gave it that old college try and BAM-- thick brown smoke all through my hydratube. Thank God I had just purchased some PBW. I did a decent clean with 99% Iso and then I filled a container with boiling hot water and added in some PBW and submerged my HT in that overnight. Picked it up this morning and gave it a very thorough rinse. My HT is back to NEW!!! No smell at all and the glass looks beautiful !
Any downstem will sit closer to 90 degrees. Bad taste? Is the silicone anti-microbial?The mouthpieces are really large?
What's with the 500 year old design?
Bad taste disease?
I will make my own.
